    Hey Scoobydo,
    1. You can download the HP ePrint Home & Biz app to your iPhone4 from the Apps store.
    2. Now install the app.
    3. Now you can pull up a document or a photo and select print.
    4. The App should see your printer if you are on the same network.

  • How can I get Mac to print wirelessly?

I have a g5 iMac and a g4 IMac that connect to the internet via a wireless Belkin router. I have two HP printers (a laserjet and an officejet) connected with an ethernet cable to the router.
The g4 machine quickly identified both printers as "Internet printers" so I added them and was able to print wirelessly to both printers.
The g5 machine is able to print wirelessly to the officejet, but does not "see" the laserjet when I attempt to add it. I have tried everything, including setting up the printer manually by entering its IP address, and I can add the printer this way but I can't print.
What the g5 sees is both printers under "Bonjour Shared" kind, but if I select these and add them, it is unable to print (I either get a message that says "connecting to printer", which can last for hours, or I get a message indicating "Job accepted" but still nothing prints).
Before I switched Internet providers, both Macs could print wirelessly to both printers (I recently switched from a DSL provider to a cable provider, and then back to my old DSL provider).

I am confused. Neither iMac of which you speak will run Mac OS X 6.4 Snow Leopard, but that is the OS you profile.
What versions of Mac OS X are these old Macs actually running? Do you think that folks who have these Macs would be a better crowd to ask for assistance than folks with architecturally different Macs? We here have Intel Macs. Most of us have Snow Leopard. You are asking for help with two old PPC Macs, neither if which can actually run Snow Leopard.
    Just an idea.

  • Why would you need to connect an AirPort Express to a printer to print wirelessly when you could just use AirPrint?

What is the point of connecting an AirPort Express to a printer when you could just use AirPrint from an iPhone?

All you guys are mistaking the Airprint system. Wireless printing is a Misnomer. Nothing prints wirelessly. Both the printer and the computer, or i or android device have to be all connected to the same LAN. They can be connected by a wire or a WiFi signal but they all must be on the same LAN.
Airprint is a Driverless printing system where No Specific Printer drivers have to be installed on the computer or other device. Even with the Airprint system both the printer and the device you are printing from have to be on the same LAN.

  • How do I make my old printer wireless?

Hi -- I know there must be a solution for what I am trying to do, please help! I have an old HP 4700n Color Laserjet printer.  Here is the situation: the printer is in one room; my computer and wireless internet modem are in another room. Does a router or other networking device exist that I can connect to the printer via USB cable, that does not have to be wired to the modem in the other room? I bought a Belkin N600 Wi-Fi Dual-Band router, thinking it would allow me to do this, but unless I am misunderstanding the setup, it seems that I have to keep it connected to my modem -- which defeats the purpose. As a last resort, I will buy a long USB cable (the ethernet port on the printer doesn't work anymore, but I have tested the USB and it works) and just connect my computer directly to the printer, but I would like to avoid that, if possible. Thank you, in advance for any help that you can give me.

    Hi,
There are many router with built-in print server (thru USB port). Long USB cable won't work, it has a limit. Given you aready have a router you can buy an USB wireless print server such as one of the following device:

  • How come my Deskjet 3050 wont print wirelessly?

    Alright so here's the problem.
First of all I just bought a Deskjet 3050 All-In-One J610 Series printer on ebay. It came today and I tried to set it up wirelessly and through the USB. It works fine with the the laptop (we use it as a home computer) its a Windows Vista 64-bit.
Now everytime when the printer is not connected to our router, it shows up on the little connect to wireless networks on this computer, my netbook, and my Ipod Touch. But whenever i connect it to the router via WPS and via PIN number, it doesnt show it up on anywhere. I tried to do the setup on screen instructions CD but it says that it is connected but its not showing up or something and it says that I have to connect with the printer's IP address. And it said something about a warning saying that if you connect it like this, then if the ip address changes i would have to do a bunch of crap that i dont feel like doing.
Is there any possible way that i can fix this???? i would love to print stuff from my netbook.

    Hello lake5pilot
If you have not already please try the following article. It should help with the issue. Especially the part in the guide where you set a static IP on the printer. Even upon reconnecting it should stay the same. I hope it works well for you.

  • How do i operate hp 6500A printer wirelessly on Toshiba Thrive with an android operating platform

I have a Toshiba Thrive that I am trying to load your hp 6500a wireless printer onto. I have an Android operating platform on my Toshiba thrive can i FIND DRIVERS for this ?

    Hellp.
A Full Software is available for PC or Mac envoirnment only..
In order to be able to print from an Android, you may install the HP ePrint Home & Biz App, which is available from the Market.
Once launching the App, provide an active eMail address in order to activate it, then you will be able to print to your printer over the local network.

  • HP LaserJet M1536dnf cannot connect to internet but we are able to print wirelessly.

I connected our HP LaserJet M1536dnf MFP via USB to our Aiport Express...  I was able locate and add it using the Print & Scan function in System Tools (and I am able to print wirelessly) but we cannot scan from our computers or use AirPrint.
I pulled up a Network Summary and it says it the Network Cable is disconnected. After reading some other users' feedback, I found a suggestion of using an ethernet cable, rather than USB, so I tried that - no change.  Right now I have both the USB and ethernet cables plugged in...  still no luck.
Worth noting (maybe?) - when reset the Airport, the light next to the Ethernet plug blinked a few times but then went out.
Seems weird that we would be able to print wirelessly while it says it's not connected but maybe these are two different things?
Help please, this is the third printer we've purchased in the last 2 months and I'd *really* like this one to work.

Sorry, it's my Desktop PC that the Router and Modem are connected with.
I went into the thing with my IP addy into internet explorer. I couldn't find where to change the IP and all the stuff with the IP seemed normal. None of them had the one that the router said it was operating on.
If I create a NEW umm channel, or whatever, will I have to redo the Laptop and my Xbox config wirelessly? I should note I had a friend install all of this router/wireless stuff for me, since I am nto good with this kind of thing. So, I'm not completely up on how to do all this stuff. I was gonna ask if he could do something but I haven't got the chance to talk to him, so I came to you guys.
That's where the situation stands right now. I just wanna make sure I'm not setting myself up for hours of work. I'm sure it's easy, since he didn't take too long setting it up. But I don't like messing with things that might screw up my system/modem etc beyond what it is already.

  • How to connect ABAP proxy to two different XIs

    Hi, everyone.
I want to know there is a way to connect ECC to two different XIs using ABAP proxy.
As I know, it is much easier to make scenario with RFC or IDoc sender
but in our case we have to use ABAP proxy and must send to two XIs
So, according to the plant type in the record, data should be splitted to each XIs.
And I wonder I should use logical port for each XI.
Does anyone have a experience to implement this kind of scenario?
Then Pls show me the guide how to implement.
    Very Urgent.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
You cannot connect one ABAP proxy to two different XI systems at the same time.
The configuration held in transaction SLDAPICUST holds the XI system that is connected (as well as the SM59 details held will only point to one XI system at any one time)
Why would you want to send a message dependant on content to different XI systems ? Surely you would use conditional receiver determination in XI to route the message correctly.
    Cheers
    Colin.

  • How to connect my iPad to wireless dest 3511e all in one HP printer

How to connect my wireless printer to my iPad HP dest jet 3511e all in one SN [Personal Information Removed]

    Hi Alicerief,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you would like to know how to print from your iPad to your Deskjet 3511 printer.
Your printer is AirPrint and ePrint capable so you should be able to use either method to print once your printer is connected to your wireless network. The instructions on connecting your printer to your wireless network can be found in your user guide. You can designate it as a wireless printer during the setup as detailed in the section "Traditional wireless connection" on page 32.  If you have already installed your printer onto your computer using a USB connection, the instructions to switch to a wireless connection can also be found on page 32 in the section titled "Change from a USB connection to a wireless network".
I have included several reference documents for you. The first one reviews printing from an Apple mobile device to your printer. I have also included the document on how to setup ePrint and customize the printer's ePrint email address. There are two mobile apps available from HP that will allow you to send print jobs to your printer, the HP ePrint mobile app and the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app. The AiO app will also allow you to scan from your printer to your iPad. I have included the FAQ documents for both apps.

  • How to Connect a USB-to-Wireless printer to a Wireless Network without a PC

Some printers from HP do not have a Wireless Setup Wizard built into the front panel for connecting to a network.  These models install to a computer through a USB connection and the software then sends the wireless information across the USB cable to the printer.  However, you may not always have a computer present and still need to connect these printers to a wireless network.  You can use a wireless device, such as an iPad, to do this.  For the example below I have used an iPad and a Deskjet 3510 series printer.
The first step is to make sure your printer is broadcasting a network (Ad-Hoc).  To do this, turn the printer on and press the wireless button or turn wireless off, then on in the Setup menu. Connect the iPad (or other wireless device) to the wireless signal being broadcast by the printer.
Once the iPad is connected to the printer as a network connection, open the Web Browser on the iPad.  Type 192.168.223.1 in the address bar and go to that site.  The printer's status page should load and look similar to the image below.
Click on the Network tab at the top of the Status page.  You may get a prompt warning about being redirected to an HTTPS site.  Click Ok on the message box to continue.  When you click OK, you may get a warning regarding the certificate or server identity.  Select the option that lets you continue.  The wording will vary from browser to browser, but there should be an option to continue anyway.
Network status page should now be loaded at this point.  Select Wireless Setup Wizard to start the wireless network setup and click Next.
When next is selected, it should list the available wireless networks.  Select your network from this list and select next.  When the network is selected, it should be highlighted.
Enter the network’s password, if any, and select next.
A message should be received indicating the name and if security is enabled.  The message below that should indicate the settings were saved successfully.  If it says the settings were saved successfully with an error, the network setup is more than likely functioning.  Select Ok at the bottom.
After selecting OK, select Status to verify the printer is connected successfully.  It may take a few minutes for the wireless light on the printer to stop flashing.  Once it is a solid blue, the printer should be on the network and functioning.
Once this is completed, then you will be able to reconnect to your normal wireless signal (Wireless Router) for internet access.  Now both the iPad and printer are on the same Home Network.

    That is not correct sabretooth04,
The Deskjet Ink Advantage 4625 only support USB or Wi-Fi, it does not provide any Ethernet connectivity and therefore a Wireless router is essential for the web services to work.
The specifications can be found in here:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03149922&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en...
ichleiben57 - As your printer only support wireless connection you will either need a wireless router, bridging your wired ADSL router with a wireless access point or replacing the printer to a different model which support wired ethernet connection.
