How to connect my ipod to a tomtom gps?

Can't find solution for connecting my ipod classic 4GB to my Tomtom GPS GO910...

hi Michel,
Do not forget that you need to put the Livebox in "association" mode otherwise you will not succeed in connecting to your wifi network. (sur les Livebox Inventel, il faut appuyer sur le bouton "1" se trouvant à l'arrière. sur les Livebox Sagem, c'est un bouton à enfoncer près de la prise d'alimentation). The Livebox remains in "association" mode for 10 minutes, this gives you enough time to enter your WEP key..
Plus d'info sur le mode d'emploi de ta Livebox.
Bye,
/Phil

  • How to connect 2 iPod classics with bluetooth

I am trying to sync photos between 2 iPod classics, iPad4 and iphone 5 with blue tooth. The only devices that are seeing each other is the iPhone and iPad but still hasn't' synced the photos. Why re the apple devices not able to see each other?

    Havilah Farm wrote:

Because that's the way Apple have designed it. They have used a particular Bluetooth protocol that is designed to allow audio to be transmitted to Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers (for example) and some peer-to-peer gaming between the devices, but not the transfer of files.
To transfer photos, Sync them via your iTunes programme. If you took the photos on the device, transfer them to your computer first and then Sync them with the other devices. For photos that were not taken on the device, they presumably were Synced from your computer originally, so simply Sync them to your other devices from the computer.
By the way, your subject question: "how to connect two iPod Classics with Bluetooth"...
You cannot. The Classic does not have Bluetooth.

  • How I connect my Ipod touch to wi-fi

just got my ipod and I don't know how to connect it and if it suppose to be connecting by itself? Help me please.

Do you have a wifi network set up already? If so, after you synch the Touch with iTunes and do the initial setup, it should hookup with your network automatically. If it doesn't, go into SETTINGS>WIFI on your Touch to see if your network shows up there. If not, click on "other" and put in the name of your network and then see if the Touch finds it.

  • How to connect 3 ipods to one itunes account?

We have 3 ipods ( 2* nano and 1 mini) in the family each belonging to people with differing musical tastes but only one computer. Can we set up 3 different profiles in itunes so when we each download music we only download our own respective choices. The nanos are being extended to their memory capacity.
    Rob

There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. Have a look at the article linked below. Method one is to have three Windows user accounts which by definition would give you three completely separate libraries. Method two is to set your preferences so each iPod is updated with only certain playlists within one library. Have a look anyway and see what you think and go for whichever you feel suits your needs best: How To Use Multiple iPods with One Computer
If you go for method two, you can choose the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" which would mean you could create a playlist specifically for each iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPods. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod Mini or Nano (around 3700MB for a 4G). You can read more about playlists at these links:

  • How do  connect two iPods at once.

Hello, I have two iPods that I connect to one computer (1 a 5th gen ipod, and 1 a 4th gen ipod).
I can only ever connect one of the two iPod's. When ever I try and connect a 2nd iPod, iTunes disconnects the 1st iPod, and only shows the 2nd iPod, and this then gives a windows error on the 1st iPod.
Has anyone ever been able to connect two iPods at once in itunes for Windows?

i have the same problem. With one ipod and another ipod nano, the itunes doesnt works, and need to restart it.

  • How to connect with iPod?

I am using up-to-date iPod Touch with NeoSoar but when I plug it into computer, iTunes opens.
When I manually open ADE, iPod is not shown anywhere. How do I transfer the book from ADE to iPod when it does not show? How do I get it to show?
I am using version 2.0.6... on Windows 7.
I can drag other ebooks to iTunes and they show in the iPod, but for ebooks borrowed from library, they have DRM and if I drag it to iTunes, then iPod gives error that I don't have proper authorization on this device, or whatever. (I signed up for Adobe ID, so I can use DRM on more than one device.)
    I am totally lost....

I have a DLO TransPod which I connect with a cassette adapter, rather than the FM, because it sounds MUCH better than the FM route. I replaced my factory speakers, and it sounds great! I notice on their Web site that their newest model shows the new video iPod in it. Personally, I'd go for the TransPod Direct <http://www.dlodirect.com/Products/TPDirectsilverProd.tpl?command=showpage&cart=11301052045696925> because it only includes the line out and cassette adapter, and save $30 on the transmitter. If you have an AUX input in your car stereo, that's even better.
I'd wanted to install a Wire-Tunes interface in my car, but since I already have a CD changer built in, there wasn't a connector on the back of my head unit. I'd hold off, though, on buying a direct-connect iPod controller until you hear from others if they work with the 5G models. I've read that some don't.

  • How do connect my ipod touch to tv

I have a 4th generation iPod touch and would like to play videos from it on my tv. I also already owned an Apple component av cable that I use to use to connect my classic to my tv which worked perfectly, and the users guide for the touch shows that it can be used to connect the touch as well. However, when I connect it to my tv the audio is fine but the video comes out in black & white and split into two.

Did you check the video format? Can you show slideshows in the right colors?
Note: Component video output to television is supported by iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod nano (3rd generation and later), iPod touch (2nd generation and later), and iPod classic at 480p or 576p resolution; and by iPhone 3G, iPhone, and iPod touch (1st generation) at 480i or 576i resolution.
