How to Connect my N79 through Internet on Laptop?

Hi Friends ,
i am facing a problem while connecting my N79 through Internet on my laptop . i am using USB Modem for Internet Connectivity. And i want to share this Internet on my N79 through Wireless LAN . i am using Windows Vista . Please tell me how to Configure my WLAN on my laptop . so that i can use it to browse through my N79.

Yes, it can be done.
1) Enable "Internet Connection Sharing" on the laptop and share the connection that refers to your USB modem.
2) Ask your ISP what the IP addresses of their nameservers are and make a note of them.
3) Configure the laptop's wireless adapter in ad-hoc mode and assign it a static address on the wireless network.
4) Configure the N79 in ad-hoc mode as well, and give it a static address on the wireless network. Enter manual settings telling it to use the IP address of the laptop as its default gateway and to use the IP addresses given to you by your ISP as its nameservers.
With this, you can use the laptop as your phone's portal to the Internet, but only with your phone. This will only work with one device at a time. If you want to use more than one device at the same time you're better off buying a real wireless router to which you will be able to connect your laptop, your phone and any other wifi-aware device you might have.
NB: I don't use Windows on my machines and therefore can't give any specific information about doing this. The advanced settings needed for the phone will be described in the manual.

Start by reading the tutorials. There's a section on Swing which shows you how to use tables and a section on JDBC which shows you how to use SQL.

               If u want to connect to the database oracle just paste the Ojdbc14.jar file into the lib folder of blazeds project..
                         Normally blazeds distribution version contains blazeds.war file... upload that war file to the tomcat or any other application server..
                      u will get the build path and in lib folder paste the ojdbc14.jar file to connect to the oracle and do u r stuff at server side java ....

I can't get online through firefox (this keeps coming up THE PROXY SERVER IS REFUSING CONNECTIONS) but can through internet explorer?

As I said in the question when I click on the firefox link on the desktop this is what comes up (THE PROXY SERVER IS REFUSING CONNECTIONS Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections) but I can get connected through Internet Explorer. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled firefox with no difference.

I tried all that stuff and none of it helped. I can't load any of the google applications in firefox now. They pop up with this screen.

Considering I use my google account for my calendar and gmail a lot, I am highly disappointed with this new update. I hate using IE and really prefer to use Firefox.

Are you thinking of the Enterprise Manager supplied with Oracle9i? If yes - it doesn't work quite that way ... and the 9i java OEM is not compatible.
Use the enterprise manager supplied with the 10g database, called the dbconsole (look for a service or start it using 'emctl start dbconsole') and access it using http://{localhost}:5500/em
If that doesn't satisfy you, load the updated version of the OEM 9i java standalone from the 10g client disk.

It could very well be Verizon where you're able to access from your home PC. But have you tried looking into the Laptops operating system Device Manager to see if that gives any indication of anything, like perhaps possible network driver update?

There are various tunneling schemes in use, and two of the most common are PPTP and L2TP.
Your particular corporate firewall probably has one or both.
Microsoft Windows has VPN capabilities, either as an integrated or as add-on capability. Different organizations can prefer different solutions here, too. Check with [Microsoft|http://www.microsoft.com] for details and options for that operating system platform (I just don't follow Microsoft Windows security tools anymore) and with your IT staff.
Mac OS X client contains VPN client capabilities. For both PPTP and L2TP.
As for which you need or want here, that's as much a question of the capabilities of the firewall here and with which of these works best with the Windows XP box; with what actually works in this case. It is common for a corporate network to have an external firewall, and an IT staff can have specific preferences here. And some firewalls can have odd setups or incompatibilities. Check with whomever is providing your IT support, as a start.
If you are providing IT support here, you're going to have to provide details of the corporate network set-up here including the model identification of the firewall device. And please also do some research on Microsoft Windows XP for this question and on VPNs in general and on your specific corporate firewall, as a start; you own some sensitive data, and poking holes through a firewall is a bad idea. And a server security breach (and I've cleaned up a few of these) is a hassle. My cousin currently has a Dell desktop that accesses the internet via DSL (wired, not wireless). They also recently acquired an iMac G3 and a d-link wireless adapter and want to know how they can get internet access to the iMac? I'm assuming all they need to do is purchase a wireless router to connect to the PC and then the iMac can access the router via the d-link adapter? Are there any suggestions as to what type of router is best to use? The room the iMac is in isn't close to the PC, so is there one better for distance?
Any suggestions would be helpful. Oh, and they're not looking to spend a lot of money. So whatever works for reliable access and distance from the router is what they're looking for.

Well the cheapest way would be to use a wired router and run Cat 5.
As far as recommendations go I would just Google the Models that you're interested in. I set a client up with a wireless router and bought a D-Link at Office Max since I have an old D-Link that has worked perfectly for 3 years. The one I got was nothing but problems so I switched to a Linksys that was well reviewed and now it's worked perfectly for 3 weeks. Turns out that D-Link had both great and awful reviews. I had been prejudiced against Linksys since I have 4 SR41 wired routers that have failed.
So you can't go by make only model.
