How to connect MyLink in Bluetooth settings

How do I get MyLink in Bluetooth setting to conect on my iPhone 5S

I'm not sure what MyLink is, but I would check with the manufacturer about how to pair with a Bluetooth device. To get the iPhone into discovery/pairing mode, you go into Settings and turn on Bluetooth.

  • How to connect miss configured bluetooth device.

    Hi Support Community,
I've recently purchased a Play Station 3 bluetooth controller (DUALSHOCK3 "CECHZC2H") from a Japanese web store for a very cheap price.
I don't have a PS3, but I read few articles to make me believe it would work on my Mac Mini out of the box.
However, the cheap DUALSHOCK3 would not connect the way tutorial tells me it would.
Instead, it prompts me to type few keyboard keys to authorize the device. ( Which of couse can't be done on DUALSHOCK3 controller )
I came to the conclution that the controller may be a knock off.
But, hey! It still is a bluetooth controller! All it needs is a way to reconfigue it self to be recognised as a "HID game controller" instead of a keyboard and knock off controllers were made to work in PS3s.
All it should need is a bit of reconfiguration...
And so, I was wondering if there is a way to make a Mac to think the bluetooth device is a HID game controller.
    Any suggestions would be helpful!
    Thanks!
    My Macs:
-Macbook (Late 2009 Aluminum) OSX Lion
-Mac Mini (Mid 2011) OSX Lion
    What I tried so far:
    -Turn on and off Bluetooth
-Delete and reconnect the device from "System Preferences -> Bluetooth"
-Connect a USB bluetooth receiver a had from 2008
-Edit "com.apple.Bluetooth.plist" (settings get overwitten when the device gets connected)

    hi,
i am not sure if i can help, but i think that if you use a programe such as gamepad companion to map the keys of your controller to adjust to your needs for your games. Because i never tried it, and that i can't, i suggest you should find a way to try if gamepad companion can solve your problem before actualy buying it...
i think that gamepad companion only works with hid devices... we should consider that, if your controller isn't compatible with gamepad companion, i suggest you use an other program to map the keys to the device
    hope it helps
    -iBoris!

I don't believe the iMac has the A2DP Bluetooth profile so you will not be able to use it as a speaker.

  • I want to connect to a bluetooth enabled device but don't know how

I don't know how to connect to my bluetooth enabled device.  Please help.

    Hi,
Your machine does NOT have Bluetooth therefore you can't connect to Bluetooth devices.
       http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02882598
If you wish, a cheap option is to buy a dongle called USB-Bluetooth such as:
         http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/targus-bluetooth-4-0-usb-adapter-taacb75au
    (Much cheaper elsewhere)
    Regards.

  • Bluetooth settings for BT Arc Mouse lost on restart since upgrade

Upgraded OSX last night and on restart my Bluetooth BT Arc Touch mouse is not working.
I remove the mouse from the bluetooth settings and, resetting the mouse, it then finds the device and I pair the mouse again.
    It works!
Then when I shutdown my MacBook Pro, next time I switch on the mouse does not work again.  Its showing as "Not Connected" in the bluetooth settings.
    Very, very frustrating.
Have downloaded latest Arc Touch mouse drivers but no fix.
    Any ideas?

    PS.
In menu bar, bluetooth icon states "Bluetooth: Not Available".
    Bluetooth is switched on.
The mouse is blinking red and green which means "Device is discoverable (trying to connect to the transceiver)."

How do i u acsess my bluetooth settings thru my phone to change name etc. Also cant connect to any devices

What devices are you trying to connect to, and are they in pairing mode? Is the phone in pairing mode? The iPhone only connects to audio devices and to computers for tethering. You cannot use BlueTooth on an iPhone for file transfers to other phones or computers.

You need to put the headset into pairing mode. The phone should then see it even though you have done the forget this device.

If you have a wifi router you can set up/turn on the wifi... set the user name and password wifi in your router... open wifi in general settings on the iPhone... log into your router, user name and password. (If your don't know how to turn on the router wifi. Google the router make and model and you will find instructions on how to do this.)
If you don't have a wifi router and your Mac has wifi capabilities you can hookup to the internet over wifi from your Mac to your iPhone.
System Preferences on the Mac... Network... Wifi... Advanced tab... Hit the '+' to add a user name and password...
Make sure you use WPA2 Personal for Security... Hit ok... Turn on the wifi... Same as above with the iPhone, log into your wifi settings on the iPhone.
*Important point... Use WPA2 for the encryption/Security setting. If you use anything else for this setting, your wifi can be hacked.

  • HOW TO CONNECT A SONY PLAYSTATON DUALSHOCK 3 and/or SIXAXIS BLUETOOTH CONTROLLER TO YOUR MAC ***NO PASSCODE, NO TURNING BLUETOOTH OFF OR ON, NO TROWING YOURSELF OFF A CLIFF IN FRUSTRATHON***

***A tutorial written on trial, error and a big bucket of coffee***
Definitions of the controllers four red lights flashing:
    - Slowly ≈ once per second
    - Rapidly ≈ twice per second
    - Don't flash = off
All the controller buttons you will need to press:
    - PS button = the PS-logo button in the centre of the controller
    - Reset button = The reset button are located on the back of the controller inside the tiny hole just to the right of the middle screw.. Depending on how you hold the controller. -If you hold the controller upside down, the hole are to the left of the screw... ...never mind -let's go on, shall we? ..(Closest to the L2 button) -SONY recommends that you, i quote; "use a small, unfolded paper-clip or something similar to click the button"
    First thing:
0.0     Open Bluetooth Preferences. (System Preferences / Bluetooth)
    If if if if if:
0.1     If the controller is connected to the USB cable, disconnect the controller from the USB cable..
0.2     If the lights on the controller are flashing rapidly, and the controller constantly are pushing on and on and on and on to get a pairing request passcode           NEVER MIND THE DIALOG BOX! Don't even bother to reject it, it will only reappear pushing you over the edge..
0.3     Press and hold the PS button on the controller for about 10 seconds to make the controller disconnect and go to sleep, or disconnect the          controller in the Bluetooth Preferences THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT THE CONTROLLER HAS STATUS OF BIENG: NOT CONNECTED!
0.3.1  If the controller is disconnected, give the dialog box your meanest evil-eyes and a last ever slam on the reject button if you really can't stand looking at it..
    Next up:
1.1     Connect the controller to your iDevice using the USB cable. (Do not disconnect the USB cable until step 1.4) -The lights on the controller will start           flashing slowly, and the controller will appear in the list of Bluetooth devices as: PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller
1.2     If the controller don't appear at all or appears without a name and the address like 00-00-00-00-FF-FF in the Bluetooth Preferences, then just           press the reset button briefly and wait for the controller to reappear in the Bluetooth device list. -Never mind if the controller appears two times or more,           just carry on, you can always delete the non-connected-Bluetooth-controller-blah-blah-thingies-in-the-Bluetooth-Preferences-list afterwards. The main goal           at this point are just that one of the Bluetooth settings is configured..
1.3     Press and hold down the PS button on the controller for about 5 seconds, release the PS button, and first now disconnect the USB cable.. -The           controller will now appear as connected and configured in the Bluetooth Preferences
1.4     Finally add the controller to favorites and update services in Bluetooth Preferences / the sprocket pop-down menu. (Don't know what the update           services does, but why not click it when you can??)
1.5     DONE! -The controller should now appear in the Bluetooth device list like this:
    GOAL:
*** Paired = NO ...And it's a resounding NO -Nobody on this earth knows how to pair the controller!! Connected yes / paired no, no, no ..Never mind that, the          controller will work anyway!
    *** Configured = Yes
    *** Favorite = Yes
    *** Connected = Yes
*** Flashing lights on the controller forcing you into epileptic seizures = No ...Hurray
-Actually non of the four lights are lid.. When the controller is paired on the PlayStation it will be given a number 1-7 and the fact that this doesn't  happen on the Mac, may properly cause that people are having problems connecting more than one controller to their Mac?? -I'm no expert in this field, just thinking loud..
If if if if if vol. 2
    - If you fumble in step 1.4 and let go of the PS button and/or disconnect the USB cable to soon the lights will flash rapidly..
    - If you disconnect the controller from Bluetooth and reconnect the controller by pressing the PS button, -which I believe is the only way to reconnect it, the lights on the controller will also start flashing rapidly..
    - Or if the lights for some other reason are flashing rapidly..
-To make it stop, cause it's really annoying, do as follows:
2.0     Disconnect the controller in Bluetooth Preferences - The lights stops flashing when the controller is disconnected
2.1     Connect the controller to the USB cable - The lights starts flashing slowly
2.3     Press and hold down the PS button for about 5 seconds, release it, and then disconnect the USB cable..
-You can also connect the USB cable first and then disconnect the Bluetooth afterwards, the difference is the same.. -Or press and hold the PS-logo           button on the controller for about 10 seconds to disconnect the controller from Bluetooth (The controller will go to sleep and turn the lights off)

    I try this good tutorial!
    Everything done but..
My PS3 controller connect, the bluetooth panel status is connected, favorite and configured, but "Services" result "NONE" :-(
When controller connect to my MacBook Pro, it continue to lights the led fast and it disconnect automatically from system after 15 seconds
    I forget: I run OS X 10.8.2!

Thank you wjsten for your soon reply. Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty. Do you have any idea how can I fix it? Do you think it's a software issue?

  • How to connect a Razr to iCal and Address Book w/ bluetooth

How to connect a Razr to iCal and Address Book w/ bluetooth
Hello. I am going to post this in multiple forums because I searched but couldn't find anything on how to sync my Razr with Tiger's iCal and Address Book so this is the How To.
First, download the software Pacifist which can be found on www.versiontracker.com. After the download, put your Tiger DVD into the drive, open the packages in Pacifist, and do a search for iSync.app. Drag that app into your Applications folder. Go to www.versiontracker.com again, and download the iSync 2.1 update. Run that update, and after the restart, use the bluetooth setup to connect to your phone. After pairing, the bluetooth setup should say that you can sync your contacts and ical list. Go to your Applications folder and find iSync. Using this application, you can now adjust the settings for your iCal and Address Book apps.
    Good luck!

    Hi,
There's a dedicated forum for Server customers.
    Good luck,
