Windows installed:
- Via BootCamp? If so did you install the drivers?
Install Windows support software
After installing Windows, the support software installs Boot Camp drivers to support your Mac hardware, including AirPort devices, the built-in camera, the Apple Remote, the trackpad on a portable Mac, and the function keys on an Apple keyboard. The software also installs the Boot Camp Control Panel for Windows and the Apple Boot Camp system tray item.
After you configure Windows, if you kept the external USB drive that has the Windows support software inserted, an installer starts automatically. Otherwise, insert the external USB drive, then double-click the setup.exe file located in the BootCamp folder.
Follow the onscreen instructions.Important: Do not click the Cancel button in any of the installer dialogs. If a message appears that says the software you’re installing has not passed Windows Logo testing, click Continue Anyway. You don’t need to respond to installer dialogs that appear only briefly during installation, but if a dialog asks you to install device software, click Install. If nothing appears to be happening, there may be a hidden window that you must respond to. Look behind open windows.
When the support software finishes installing, click Restart, then click Yes.
After your Mac restarts, follow the instructions for any other installers that appear.
Check for updated Windows support software. In OS X, choose Apple menu > App Store, then install all available updates.
- Via virtual machine on top of OSX? If so what virtual machine software?

Configure it directly while connected via USB first generally works.
However here is what Canon support has.

How to connect to wifi prompt with Apple TV?
To connect to wifi in public locations (e.g., Starbucks, hotels), you often have to click an "I agree" button after selecting the network. For business presentations in hotels and other venues, I carry an Apple TV with me. I connect the Apple TV to a big screen TV at the venue, then use my iPad to present content on the TV. You will know that the Apple TV and the iPad have to be on the same wifi network in order for this to work. But in locations that require an "I agree" in order to connect to the local wifi network, I do not know how to connect the Apple TV to the wifi network. Is there a way to see/accept the "I agree" button when connecting the Apple TV to the network?
AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). You can see which Mac you have and which operating system you are using by selecting 'About this Mac' from the Apple menu in the top left corner of your Mac and selecting the 'More Info' button.

How do connect to wifi so I can use my MacBook Pro out of office
How do I connect to wifi so to use my MacBook Pro out of the office
Depends on the WiFi source. Download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com as some WiFi routers only let you login via Firefox.
Have an cat-5 or cat-6 ethernet cable handy, as some hotels provide WiFi between rooms in a hotel, but do not broadcast on a frequency that you can pickup
with your Mac, but rather give you a direct connection to their router in the room.
Some places require you download Boingo and subscribe to Boingo to get on their service.
For the rest, you should be able to get the protocol, network name, username, and password for connecting your Mac from the provider. Ones with no password will automatically appear in the Airport menu which looks like *. The ones with a password may show up there, or only work if you Connect to Other... from that menu. That menu may be gray or it may be black. If there is a lock next to the network name, you'll need a password and protocol to connect.
Macs support WPA2, WEP, TKIP connections via WiFi.
WEP aren't very secure. WPA2 are much more secure. -
i just bought my itouch a week ago and cannot connect to wifi..i have no idea where to begin to get all those numbers and IP and it says i need a password to connect to my wireless network in my house but i have no clue what that password is or how to get it can anyone help me connect? thx
The password is set by whomever created your wireless network.
You'd need to contact that person(s) and have them provide the password for you.
Sometimes the password is on a sticker attached to your wireless router. I know Verizon does this with DSL and FiOS routers with WiFi capabilities.
You should not need any further information other than the password for your wireless network.
You probably don't need IP addresses or anything. Your wireless network is likely set up to provide all of that information to your iPod once you successfully connect to the wireless network. -
How to connect to wifi automatically when available?
Hello users, I have a 8510 Curve and use 3G most day, but I want it to automatically connect to Wifi when I am at home, and disconnect 3G. How can I do it?
I have the curve 8520 but I think the settings should be the same. Go to manage connections, then select mobile network options. From there you should see 'connection preference'. Choose WIFI preferred then save. It should automatically connect to your home WIFI.
Hope this helps -

I HV E51 WITH WIFI CONNECTION BUT MY PC DONT HV WIFI
HOW 2 ACESSES INTERNET USIG WIFI OF MY E51???
HELP ME.
THANKKSYou can't use the E51 as a wireless gateway to allow the PC to connect to the internet through a wireless router.
The PC needs to be connected to the router via it's own wifi, not via the E51's.
So you need to buy a USB wifi adaptor for your PC, they don't cost very much nowadays. Contact a local computer store for assistance if you don't know what to buy. -

How do connect to wifi instead of using my usual service
I just downloaded Whatsapp and my understanding is that I can avoid data usage on my phone plan by switching over to wifi. My internet service is wifi so can I switch it over in settings?
ThanksProvided that your network is compatible, absolutely! To connect, open the System Preferences app from the Apple logo menu to the top left of the Menu Bar. Click Wi-Fi from the column to the left in the window that pops up. If it is not on already, turn Wi-Fi on by clicking the Turn Wi-Fi On button. Next, select the name of your network. Enter your network password if prompted to do so.

Can not connect to WiFI with IPAD. Any tips?
Any tips on how to connect to WiFi. The IPAD does not find WiFI. I know that is working as I currently have 3 other devices using currently.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at
http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

How to connect my IPad to a security enabled wifi
how to connect my IPad to a security enabled wifi
iPad not connecting to a Secure Wi-Fi signal
Turn OFF your wifi hub so the network is not broadcasting (or go out of range) so the
iPad can no longer see the SSID
Choose another network
Type in the SSID (WiFi Network name)
Select the security type
Enter the password
At this point, you will not be able to join the network (it is not turned on or you walked out of range, remember?)
Turn ON your network hub and wait for the DSL or Internet to get connected, (30 secs to 1 minute in my case) or walk back in range
Then click the Join button on the iPad

The airport utility is to setup wireless in the airport.. once you setup wireless then you use the sony setup for wireless in the player as per its manual.
Please do keep the wireless names short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
As well as pure alphanumeric passwords if you want to do this successfully. -
