How to connect T6100 to the DVD - home cinema

I really don't understand how I can connect 5.1 sound system T600 to DVD-player which have a 6 channels ( "cin-cin" connectors )?!
Is better option to buy GD580 or T600? My DVD player support audio optical out connectors ?
Please help me!

How to connect Apple TV to DVD blu-ray home theatre

Hi guys, I am planning to buy Apple TV2 and I was wondering is there setup guide for connecting to HDTV and home theatre system. I currently have LG HDTV and LG DVD Blu-ray Home Theatre. They are connected with HDMI 1.3 cable and I had to get optical cable to get sound from TV to Home theatre.
How is Apple TV fits into that? I have 1 HDMI slot free on TV and 2 HDMI inputs on DVD system.
I was thinking just to connect Apple TV to DVD via HDMI? Would that put sound on home theatre system?

You have read home theatre manual about playing sound from external device.
You doesn't need to connect home theatre to tv at all as you have get video from apple tv.
Connect video output from apple tv to tv(may carry sound along) and optical cable from apple tv to home theatre.
That will do. You can mute sound of tv(in case hdmi carry sound along) or using other function(on samsung ) and hear from home theatre sound from speakers.

I would like to connect my three years old Lenovo T400 ( with VGA) with the TV (I will use the same connection with the DVD player...with my PC was OK because I used a video card ...well...is impossible with the laptop...)

no...the T400 has only the VGA output...I bought a cable which has on the first end ...VGA input and on the other end ...the standards jacks (red,yellow,white)...was not working at all...also I found something here...http://www.shopiogear.com/store/iogear/en_CA/pd/productID.196475400/categoryId.42447600...is with an external DVI at the end...will check now if there are some cable with internal DVI and on the other end composite jacks...thanks for your help.

You should be able to use a 3.5mm plug cable to connect iPad to the AUX input of your sound system.
Make sure you set the volume to about 5% to 10% on you iPad.

Does JVC say it will work with your mode iPod and its iOS? There can be two reasson for problems.
- One is the the dock is not compatible with the iOS on the iPod.
- The other is the configurate of the connector on the dack prevents agoo connection with the iPOd. This is particularly true for the 4G IPod since the dock conection are is slanted.

I went to AOL page and moved the aol icon to the house....and also went to tools options and changed to the aol address.....all okay until I reboot then the facebook home page comes back.

The Norton Utilities software has a 'disk cleanup' function.
I ran this to get rid of all nonwindows code in my computer.
Afterwards, I edited the program registry. using START>RUN

Just for good measure, I ran the registry scanning function in my Norton Utilities software. The problem hasn't come back.

My main set up is; tv to tv via HDMI, optical to receiver, I've thrown my DVD player and my STB is connected via scart.
Your stereo likely doesn't have HDMI or optical but may have an auxiliary input of some kind, I think you are probably talking about the outputs in your description and I'd be surprised if the auxiliary (if there is one) isn't a red/white RCA connector.

I have Macbook pro A1286 and was wondering how to connect it to the tv and have audio?

Like the title says, I have a 15 inch macbook pro A1286 (from mid 2009) and want to hook it up to a tv. I also know that my particular model of macbook pro doesn't support audio from the mini display. I know that I will need a mini display to hdmi cable or converter and a hdmi cable if I decide to go for the converter for the video. I've seen both the cord (1 side is hdmi and the other is mini display just to clarify if I'm not using the right terminology) and converter online and any comments on which is better/preferred would be helpful. What kind of cable do I need to get sound to play through the tv? If you could suggest brands (unless all of them are about the same), I would be very grateful. It would be nice to know if the cords have to be specifically from apple just so I don't buy the wrong thing.
