How to connect to Akamai using RTMP SDK (Adobe Media Server Connector for C++)?

We need to stream live video to Akamai using RTMP. But, we are trying to connect using ADOBE RTMP SDK (Adobe Media Server Connector for C++ 2.0.1), but have no idea regarding how to connect to Akamai using the SDK. How to make the SDK respond to the server challenges for password etc. If this can't be done using the RTMP SDK, we can use plain C++ for the purpose. But for that too, we don't have any idea regarding the steps involved to make it work. If anyone has any idea on how to connect to Akamai using the RTMP SDK or using plain C++ (a sample code will be very helpful), please help us out. If you can suggest any C/C++/.NET library too which will help us achieve it, we are ready to do so. Thanks in advance.

hi,
I am sorry I can not help you.  Could you do me a favor? I know you are using Adobe RTMP SDK.I want to know how to get it.
I tried to contact adobe at [email protected] but it seems to be an invalid email address.if you know efficient way,
please tell me.Thank you very much.

  • How do I activate a used iPhone 3 with no SIM card for use as an ipod touch?

How do I activate a used iPhone 3G with no SIM card for use like an iPod Touch? It was apparently on AT&T previously and I have another iPhone 3 that is active on AT&T if that is helpful. Thanks!

    Copied from the link provided.
Follow these steps to use your iPhone without a wireless service plan:
Insert the SIM card from your new, activated iPhone or one that was previously used to activate the original iPhone.
Connect the iPhone to iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet.
Once iTunes activates the device, you're free to use the iPhone as if it were an iPod touch.

  • How do I use Adobe Media Server 5 on Amazon Web Services?

Adobe Media Server 5 on Amazon Web Services was suggested to my project manager as a way to deal with some of the video we have to host at work, but after signing up and poking around, I'm wondering: how do you actually use it? Is it something that requires the Media Server software, or is there a web interface through AWS? I follow the links, and they tell me it's already active for my account - but I still see no way to use it.
Thanks in advance for help on this seemingly remedial question!

  • Timecode/TimeStamp in RTMP live streaming using Adobe Media Server and FMLE

    HI There,
Am trying to stream a video on to Adobe media server(using RTMP) through FMLE and play it on my web site using JWPlayer. i could stream the video successfully, but know i want to get the timestamp/timecode on the stream. does Adobe media server and FMLE support this kind of use-case ? if not is there any other way to achieve the same. any comments/suggestion/pointers appreciated .
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards
    Deepak

If you're talking about nonstop, continuous streaming, your subscribing client will need to close and reconnect the stream every couple of days, as the server will run out of timestamps for the stream.

  • How to consume REST WebService using Axis2 in Adobe CQ5.5

    Hi All,
How to consume REST WebService using Axis2 in Adobe CQ5.5 ?
Please help me with this. Thanks very much for your help.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kumar

We had enough trouble getting the "osgi compliant" Axis2 library to run in OSGI without spooky failures that we ended up re-writing everything utilizng JAX-WS. JAX-WS is present in the underlying JDK, you just need to create an OSGI fragment bundle that exposes these classes from the JDK. So basically a bundle that just exports:

  • Pusblish Abode Connect meeting records (.flv) over Adobe Media Server - What is the easiest way?

    Hi,
my name is Robin Schröder. I am a member of the univertity “Hochschule Hamm Lippstadt” from Germany.
We r using the adobe connect already. We wanna create offline videos of meeting records and publish them over adobe media server. The offline videos are in the .flv format.
Do I have to convert the .flv into mp4 (h264 & AAC) before streamable with hds and hls?
I read about f4fpackager that this program can convert .flv into .f4m – but it failed with error 999….. I checked the .flv file with flvcheck before: success!
    The sample Video worked fine.
    So my question:
We wanna publish all .flv recordings over the Adobe Media Server (VODs). What is the easiest way to achieve this?
Convert .flv in a streaming format (mp4?) - HOW?
Create multi-bitrate versions from the video - HOW?
Create f4m file for adaptive bitrate streaming - manually?
Publish hds & hls URL in the html site (decryption for url possible?)How can I realize a iPad/iPod/iPhone switch in the html Code for HLS/HDS switch?
    Thanks!
