How to connect VLAN between Cat 3750X-24T-S & SG500-52

Does anybody can help me with above topics?
I would like to connect Cat 3750X-24T-S to SG500-52 Uplink (Combo RJ-45 Port).
Thanks,
Willy

In which way do you want to connect these switches? From the information provided, the answer is to connect a RJ45 in to each switch and apply power to both devices and they are connected on VLAN 1.
Can you provide more information such as VLAN and what is your intention to do with the VLANs?

• How to "trunk" VLANs between Switches in a Gigastack

I got 3 catalyst 3548XL daisy chained by CX_GIGASTACK modules (half duplex). The 1. switch is connected to a L3 swicth via a trunk. On the 2. and 3. switch connected to the first vis gigastack modules, is it possible 2 have 2 VLANs passing the gigastack links to the 1. Switch?

Hello,
Thanks for your answer. Yes it answers my question - which I admit was not very clear, I was in a hurry. My concern was when the Gigastack module was in half duplex mode, then I was uncertain if it could be configured as trunk. As you se I managed to do that,
Floor1#sh int status | incl Gi0/1
Gi0/1 connected trunk a-half a-1000 1000BaseCX Gigastack
In fact, I was'nt successful until I configured "switchport nonegotiate"
interface GigabitEthernet0/1
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
switchport nonegotiate
Once again THANKS.

• How to connect ratings between iPod and iTunes

Hey I just got an iPod and I want the ratings I set on the pod to update onto my computer. When I connect the iPod I can see the songs on the iPod have the ratings I set when I was using the iPod, but the original songs on the computer aren't updated.
Any advice?
Or do the ratings only flow one way? Thanks a lot guys,
Josh

It works for me; i.e. when I set ratings on the iPod, and then I sync the iPod, the ratings in the iTunes Library change to what I set on the iPod.
Maybe it depends on the iPod model?

HI,
The waiting status is because of Message Queue is in wiating status. This may be because of overload of the messages, or may be your receiver systems is not ready etc.
SO go to SMQ2 and check the status of the queues.
Also have a look into this blog-
/people/sap.user72/blog/2005/11/29/xi-how-to-re-process-failed-xi-messages-automatically

Why I can see this messages only in the integration server?
>>>If message reachs the Adapter engine, you can see in the Adapter monitor. In your case, message is still there in the Integration Engine. Once the queues are cleared it will reach the Adapter engine, so you can monitor it in the adapter engine

• How to connect my keynote remote

how to connect my keynote remote

Hello,
to those unable to get Wi-Fi syncing working at your work or institution, it is not the fault of the App, rather it is the fault of the network that you are connecting to.
It is most likely that the reason that it doesn't work is because the network administrators have closed access to the port that you need for the linking between your iOS device and your Mac. The reason that it works fine at home is because you have those ports that you need locked down. The other reason may be that your iOS device is talking to another base station than your Mac is and some networks also segregate base stations from each other.
On the Bluetooth side, it might not be working because you are trying it use something like an iPod Touch 2nd generation (or iPhone 3) these devices can only use their Bluetooth headset, nothing else. So if you are trying to connect your Mac and iPod Touch 2nd Gen, you might get them to pair, but you'll never get them to connect. So don't bother.
So what do you do? Did you just waste your money? Let me assure you that no you didn't.
This is what you do.
Go to your Wi-Fi/Airport menu and select "Create Network…" then give it a network name, such as yours or the name of your computer. I would strongly recommend adding 128-WEP encryption so that your classmates/co-workers/viewers can't connect to your computer and start sniffing around. Once you've created a network your Wi-Fi/Airport menu should turn into a grey arc with a computer in the centre.
Go to your iOS device and under the General -> Network settings select your newly created network
Enter in the password you just gave your network.
Once your iOS device is connected to your Mac, you are good to go! Fire up Keynote on your Mac and Keynote Remote on your device.
Do the linking in the Keynote Settings on your Mac. You should now have control of your presentation!
A couple of notes: what you are doing is effectively removing yourself from the infrastructure network and creating your own. With that in mind note that you won't have access to the Internet on your iOS device nor your Mac. But unless your presentation includes links to websites, you should be okay. The way around this is to connect your Mac to a wired Ethernet connection and perhaps sharing that Internet connection to your Wi-Fi/Airport port to give to your iOS device as well.
A tip: If you do the initial set up at home/office with the network and linking and use the same network name and password, you should only have to do step 1, 2 & 4 as your iOS device will have your password stored and the linking already done.
Hope that helps!
And yes, I would like to have the ability to jump to a specific page, and also have the ability to black out the screen.
Cheers, Andrew Jung.

• How to connect my nokia 6120c to my mac laptop?

how to connect my nokia 6120c to my mac laptop? i want to use my phone as my modem

Hi,
Listed below is the step by step intructions to configure the Nokia device as a modem to a mac. If you receive any cases/questions related to this, please provide the steps mentioned below.
Steps:
Connecting your Mac to the internet is convenient and easy with your a compatible Nokia S60 device. You'll need a Nokia S60 device that supports a 2G or 3G data connection (such as GPRS or HSDPA), a compatible Mac (with the latest OS X), a USB cable for your Nokia device or a Bluetooth-enabled Mac, and a network subscription with your mobile service provider.
To set up your device you'll need to know your operator's Access Point Name (APN) and have the packet data service enabled. For help with this please contact your operator.
-In the following example, the APN name "Airtel" is used. This name will vary depending on your operator.
-On your device locate and open the Settings application. This is normally in the Tools folder.
-In Settings select and open Connection >Select and open Packet data > Select and open Access point >Type in your operator's Access Point Name
-Exit Settings. Your device is now ready to be used as a modem for your Mac!
-Bluetooth Connection: Pairing between Mac and Device using bluetooth, follow the instruction from here:
http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-as-a-modem
Note: Preferred mode is USB as it much faster than Bluetooth.
Connect the device and then go to System preferences- >Network- >Select Device (Nokia XXX)
Click on Advanced Tab > Modem tab
- Vendor : Nokia
-Model:GPRS (GSM/3G)
-Telephone Number: *99***1# (contact your operator to get this settings)
-APN: airtelgprs.com (contact your operator to get this settings)
CID: 1
Once connected it will be highlighted in green.
Hopefully this helps.
Cheers
Sandy

• How to connect my MacBook to my iPod Hi-Fi

Hello,
I'd like to know how to connect my MacBook to a iPod Hi-Fi.
Thank you!

You have two choices. You can use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable or for best results use a digital audio cable between them.

• Satellite L650D-11D - How to connect to my TV?

Hi everyone!
I'm the happy owner of a Satellite L650D-11D and I've been struggling lately to be able to connect my netbook to my TV (Hitachi). Both have the HDMI port but I can't manage to get it functioning so far.
Would you please have any tips and hints to help me?
Have a good day and thanks for taking some time to my request.
Vi

Hey,
I can recommend a little browsing throught the forum here because you will find hundreds of threads how to connect notebook with TV via HDMI cable.
I have used the forum searched here are some examples that I found:

As you can see: Just connect the cable and use FN+F5 key combination to switch between monitors.

• How to connect with a cable box

I cannot seem to find any information on how to connect up an Apple TV in a system that has an external cable box. I live in NY City where you cannot get cable TV without the external cable box. Where in the set up (along with my DVD player and component audio) do I fit the AppleTV?
PowerBook G4 15FW800 Mac OS X (10.4.9) 1GB RAM

I've used a 5 X 1 HDMI switch from Monoprice.com and it works just fine. I only have two HDMI inputs on my TV and use one just for the cable box and the other has the 5X1 switch hooked to it. The five ports are: a Toshiba DVR, a Mac Mini, an Apple TV, a DVI to HDMI cable for my MacBook and a spare port hopefully a HD-DVD some day.
One problem is if you calibrate the HDMI port on the TV to a device on the switch, when you switch to a different device the picture may not be optimal for that second (third, fourth or fifth) device. This is not the fault of the switch, rather a function having different devices on one HDMI port.
Rarely, very rarely, when switching to the Apple TV you need to tell it the resolutions for the TV.
Finally, if you are impatient, it takes three seconds or so when switching between devices. Otherwise a switch works great for me.

• Satellite A200 - How to connect to TV?

Hi, Dear.
How I connect my laptop to tv with S-video Media Cable or VGA-RGB cable? I tried to connect by Fn+F5 but no signal comes out. If I use VGA -RGB cable something is comeing out on TV but its scrolling continuously .
Kindly assist me..

Hi
You can use both cables to connect your notebook to TV. Its depending on the interfaces on notebook and TV but in both cases its the same:
Connect the cable to notebook and TV, power on your TV and select the right channel and then power on your notebook. After boot procedure you can switch with FN+F5 between monitors.
If you use S-Video cable make sure that you are using the right television encoding system, e. g. PAL or NTSC.
> If I use VGA -RGB cable something is coming out on TV but its scrolling continuously .
What settings did you use (screen resolution, screen refresh rate, etc.)

How to connect my ipad to a beamer?

Beamers
"Beamer" is a word used in European countries that is synonymous with "projector." A European beamer has the same standard equipment and serves the same purposes as an American projector.
Difference
There is no difference between a beamer and a multimedia projector, except for their names. Of course, there are differences between the functions and capabilities of all projectors, but those differences are determined by brand and style.

• How to connect your hdmi tv to the Thunderbolt display?

Hello,
I've just got my Thunderbotl display which is really nice, but i have question and i hope this would be possible.
How to connect an external display, in my case the HDMI tv to the thunderbolt display?
The connection would looks something like this:
Macbookpro (late 2011 15') -> Thunderbolt cable -> Thunderbolt display -> Thunderbolt to hdmi adapter -> HDMI Display
But currently i cannot get any screen on my hdmi display (it remeans black).
p.s. runing latest version of OS X
Thanks

<http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5219>
See secrions 14 and 16.
If your MacBook Pro does support two external displays you may be able to use your TV with a Thunderbolt display. While a Mini DisplayPort adapter won't work plugged directly into a Thunderbolt display, it will work if a Thunderbolt drive is connected between the displays. This reportedly works with Seagate GoFlex drives. LaCie drives don't work plugged into Thunderbolt displays.
