i would like to know how to simulate wave form graph the input is randon number ?My problem is i cannot connect with wave form graph...

I have an example that you may want to look at here.
The example was for a signal generator, but there is a waveform graph to show the selected waveform. It is an extremely basic program, but might be a good start.

i changed the shipped Labview Example to use the General Polynomial Fit VI with a waveform graph.
But why don't you want to use a X-Y-Graph?

The BB has to be set up as a wifi hotspot. After you do that just connect the iPad to the wifi network created on the BB the same way you connect to any other wifi network.

Does anyone know how to connect with an external modem and AOL service?

i just got the macbook yesterday and the modem came today, and i cannot figure out how to connect with an AOL account using the external modem. does anyone know how, or have the same problem??

When you open System Preferences > Network > Location: Automatic & at Show: is there an option to select External Modem?

How to connect with a cable box

I cannot seem to find any information on how to connect up an Apple TV in a system that has an external cable box. I live in NY City where you cannot get cable TV without the external cable box. Where in the set up (along with my DVD player and component audio) do I fit the AppleTV?

I've used a 5 X 1 HDMI switch from Monoprice.com and it works just fine. I only have two HDMI inputs on my TV and use one just for the cable box and the other has the 5X1 switch hooked to it. The five ports are: a Toshiba DVR, a Mac Mini, an Apple TV, a DVI to HDMI cable for my MacBook and a spare port hopefully a HD-DVD some day.
One problem is if you calibrate the HDMI port on the TV to a device on the switch, when you switch to a different device the picture may not be optimal for that second (third, fourth or fifth) device. This is not the fault of the switch, rather a function having different devices on one HDMI port.
Rarely, very rarely, when switching to the Apple TV you need to tell it the resolutions for the TV.
Finally, if you are impatient, it takes three seconds or so when switching between devices. Otherwise a switch works great for me.

SB Live! 5.1 how to connect with my HiFi-Syst

I want to connect my Soundblaster Li've! 5. with my amplifier.
The amplifier is connected to two stereo loudspeaker.

Is tha 2 x RCA to DIN intend for playback or recording input (or are those DIN connector wires equal for Input and output purposes)?
You need another cable: 2 x RCA to 3.5mm (/8") stereo mini jack plug to get the SB and Hi-Fi connected. Connect the PC just the way, you would connect a casette deck into a stereo system (if you know how to do this) so, you get both playback and recording capability or just connect the output from PC into Hi-Fi system).
For that TV connection, do you mean you would use the TV as output device (PC --> TV)?
If that's what you're after, then just use the another line-out from your Li've card for that connection, otherwise (TV -> PC) connect the TV output into Li've Line-In or into some of those, possible available, internal analog inputs (AUX_IN, CD-AUDIO, etc.).

Hello,
If the instrument is capable of being controlled from its TCP/IP port, it will be possible to communicate with the instrument from LabVIEW using VISA.
The VISA resource name input will need to be entered manually and is a little different from the normal Serial or GPIB format. The format is as follows:
For SOCKET connections, this is just like the traditional TCP functionality in LabVIEW. An example string that connects with the NI FTP site is:
"TCPIP::ftp.ni.com::21:OCKET"
For INSTR connection, this requires a device that supports the T&M standard LAN instrument protocol. An example of this (that we have tested with) is the Tektronix 3054 Scope. A string that connects with this scope is: "TCPIP::HostnameOrIP::gpib0,1::INSTR"

Problems with Waveform Graph

When I add a Waveform Graph into the Front Panel, the Block Diagram Window shows it as DBL instead of the usual indicator for the Graph. How can I solve this problem?

I don't see what the problem is. The default waveform graph type is an array of doubles and that's what your diagram has. If you create a waveform data type and wire it to the indicator, it will change the graph's icon.

Problems graphing FFT of sine wave with Waveform Graph

I know that this type of question has been posted
many times, so I apologize for posting a similar one. Unfortunately,
after reading quite a few threads I still have a question or two.
Basically, I need to use a Waveform Graph (not an XY graph) to graph
the magnitude of an FFT of a sine wave. I can't figure out which VI I
should be using to obtain the magnitude of the FFT. I think I'm using
the proper FFT vi (just the regular FFT.vi), but I can't find a VI
dedicated to magnitude. Of course, I could be misinterpreting the
pseudocode which I am following.
If you
wouldn't mind taking a gander at my VI, I'd appreciate any input you
might have. The pseudocode is contained in the block diagram. You
can see that I have another graph for just the sine wave, and I think
that works as it should. I'm primarily concered about the waveform
graph which isn't currently connected to anything, but should
eventually be hooked up to the FFT.

Your problem is that the output of the FFT is an array of complex numbers. Take the magnitude and you will be able to plot it.

How to connect with iPod?

I am using up-to-date iPod Touch with NeoSoar but when I plug it into computer, iTunes opens.
When I manually open ADE, iPod is not shown anywhere. How do I transfer the book from ADE to iPod when it does not show? How do I get it to show?
I am using version 2.0.6... on Windows 7.
I can drag other ebooks to iTunes and they show in the iPod, but for ebooks borrowed from library, they have DRM and if I drag it to iTunes, then iPod gives error that I don't have proper authorization on this device, or whatever. (I signed up for Adobe ID, so I can use DRM on more than one device.)
I am totally lost....

I have a DLO TransPod which I connect with a cassette adapter, rather than the FM, because it sounds MUCH better than the FM route. I replaced my factory speakers, and it sounds great! I notice on their Web site that their newest model shows the new video iPod in it. If you have an AUX input in your car stereo, that's even better.
I'd wanted to install a Wire-Tunes interface in my car, but since I already have a CD changer built in, there wasn't a connector on the back of my head unit. I'd hold off, though, on buying a direct-connect iPod controller until you hear from others if they work with the 5G models. I've read that some don't.

scope. The application does some analysis of the waveform data
and then uses features within the waveform as the basis for
controlling some external devices. The features (peaks) that
are to be used must be selected by a human operator. Ideally,
this would be done by having the user click on/near the peaks
of interest.
I haven't seen anything in Labview that looks like I can trap
mouse clicks within a screen widget. Have I missed that level
of functionality, or is there no feasible way of implementing
such an interface?
I am presently using a system of tables and sliders to allow
the users to select peaks, but the users are not totally happy
with the method.

One approach would be to enable graph cursors and have the user click and
drag the cursor to the peak of interest. Cursors can also be set to lock to
the graph data You could also add another graph trace which only contains
peak points and then the cursor will only land on a actual peak point.

I'm trying to connect my Mac pro with my Sony Bravia LCD TV. I bought a MiniDP to VGA cable and I already had a VGA extension to connect with my TV. I used to use that cable to connect my other laptop and worked ok with frequent "no synchronisation". Once I connected all, nothing happened. I restarted the PC but nothing happened. I tried to play around with all connection, but nothing happened. I do use windows XP in my mac pro as well and it didnt work their either although my other PC working fine with same VGA cable. I'm not very sure my MiniDP to VGA cable is working or not? Is there anyway I can check its working. Also, someone (sorry forgot the name) in the forum said, HDMI works better then VGA. What do I have to do to connect my PC through HDMI. Is there any direct cable to connect MiniDP and HDMI? Thanks for your help.

The best way to test if the VGA adapter is bad or not is to try it with another display, preferably a computer monitor instead of a TV. If it doesn't work with a monitor, then that's stronger evidence the adapter is bad.
There are MiniDP to HDMI adapters. Here's an example of one. I believe this company will ship internationally. You might be able to find UK sources for similar adapters.

No.
A database shouldn't even be reached from inside the view layer. Do it in the controller/business layer, e.g. the backing bean. Read on about JDBC, DAO, DTO. If you're already familiar with that, consider an ORM, like Hibernate.
