How to connect Yahama keyboard to mac to use in Logic but drive not working

I am trying to connect a keyboard using a midi interface to my MAC. I have installed the most recent drivers from the Yahama website and it's still not working. When I go into Audo midi set up the icon for the keyboard is there but it is grayed out. Can anyone help

Hey ChEmWen - I worked it out! I think I had the same problem as you, and the first driver I download didn't work. It took some more searching, you need to download the CORRECT for your OS driver from
here:

I sent YAMAHA a message on their facebook support letting them know of their problem:
Hey, I worked it out, I had downloaded the wrong driver for my OS. I think you need to update this page:

So that users are ACTUALLY directed to download from HERE:
http://download.yamaha.com/usb_midi/
I only managed to find the CORRECT driver by doing a more thorough google search.

However, because I modified the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast and nothing changed, I redirected it to another feed and then I deleted this feed.
Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

How do I Install OS 9.2.2 on iMac G3, Optical Drive Not Working

Okay, this is the issue I have...
I have an iMac G3 that has a complete blank hard drive in it. How, I formatted it.
I also have Intel iMac with Snow Leopard and ofcourse, I have OS 9.2.2 CD.
Trouble is, the optical drive in G3 doesn't work now. Is there a way I can install OS 9.2.2 using my Intel iMac to G3's Harddrive. I don't mind opening the G3 to remove the hard drive.
I really need help over here and appreciate the suggestions.

Help? Here's the situation. I've got a iMac G3 with OS 9.2.2. While trying to reinstall my speech software (blind user) in the system folder, I think I accidentally moved the finder to the trash. Basically the OS ate itself. Panicked, I restarted and it all went to pieces.
When I tried booting the system, it gives me the start screen like it's loading, and then once loaded, gives me a blank background and blank menu bar atop. A few times the message: Error 10 "Finder" has come up and I'm stuck.
To make things more interesting, my internal disk drive is no longer there, so I'm using a firewire external drive (Dell, does that matter?) and trying to reinstall the system from the disk.
While in this process, I've reset the PRAM, I've booted holding down C, nothing changed. I booted holding down Option and got the choice to boot from the firewire drive, but when selected, I got a nice little floppy disk icon with a flashing question mark. The computer then resorted to booting from the half-deleted system, and I'm back to square one.
Lastly, I booted holding down T, and now I have a blue screen with a big yellow firewire icon bouncing around like a screen saver and I am stumped.
Please help. My next attempt to reboot will be dropping it from a 10-story building. Thanks in advance!

Normally, you just connect the monitor to the MacBook using a VGA adaptor that you can buy from an Apple Store. Now try System Preferences > Displays > Detect Displays. You should now be able to select a display mode for the monitor. If it still doesn't work, then I'd check that everything is properly connected. I've had problems with colours disappearing due to a faulty connection in the VGA adaptor.

You can definitely just connect a mouse and keyboard and then an external monitor and it will work. In the power options in the Windows control panel you will have a choice as to what happens when the lid is closed. Set it to "do nothing" and then you can shut the lid of the laptop and use only the external monitor.

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the computer wont connect to networks. I see you have used network diagnostic. I can't broadcast with the built in iSight webcam... how would I zoom in or zoom out? or how would I pan? I've seem people doing it walking with their laptops but that's not an option for me... there's nothing wrong with my USB ports but that's neither an option to stream video because as far as I know through USB you can't connect video in apple operating systems ..you can for sure plug any video cam or photo camera through usb but as a drive to transfer data not as a live video camera... is by firewire an old interface developed by apple that you can connect all sorts of cameras to apple computers... unfortunately my new sony HDR-AX2000 camcorder doesn't have firewire output...

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your Mac? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the Mac?

Wireless keyboard connected but does not work.

My wireless numeric keypad is connected to the iMac, but does not work. Wireless keyboard and mouse are OK. Tried connecting/disconnecting and restarting the Mac to no avail. Everything was fine yesterday. Any suggestions?

Try a SMC reset (could help, cannot hurt):

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

This is really unfortunate. I'm sorry that nothing works. I was going to mention holding down the power button and doing a force shutdown but you already did that. You might need to take it into the Apple store. I don't know if booting into safe mode would help. You would have to turn off the machine again, hit the start button and hold down the shift key after you hear the tone, but normally you would let go of the shift key when you see the apple logo and spining wheel. Maybe by holding down the shift key after you here the tone will cause the screen to come back on? The other option is to start up from the 'install disk' if your machine came with one. You would insert the disk, then shut down the computer, and hold down the C key right after hitting the start button.
