How to contact Apple in cases where Apps don't provide features they display

An App names "SB Settings" showed fake images of their product. Just want to know where to report such apps or should we just chargeback the transaction done at Apple Store.

The 'report a problem' button via your purchase history on your account on your computer's iTunes should work - one of the options on the screen that you are taken to is 'This application does not function as expected', with a text box below for further details about the problem e.g. click on the 'report a problem' button :
then click on the 'report a problem' text on the app's line :
and you should get a screen similar to :
If that process doesn't work (it sometimes takes people to this site on a browser) then use the contact iTunes support link I gave in my first reply.

    would need to call the carrier of the iPhone 4.  Whoever sold it to you would need to complete the contract or is no longer on contract.

    Warranty and support is only valid in the country of origin, or in the case of a device purchased in an EU country, only in an EU country.
    Unless you will be visiting an Apple store in one of the EU countries before the warranty expires, you are pretty much out of luck.
    FYI, the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page provides the appropriate contact information for Apple.

    first create apple id
    fill credit card details
    and complete your account creating  process.
    than go to app store or itune store
    login your acount
    click right side  - account button
    than again login for account setting
    next go to payment information and click edit button
    when u enter payment infomation
    click none button in payment method and click done button.
    than ur credit card has been removed.
    but rs. 60 will deducted in your account when u doing this process.

The person who hijacked my account obviously knew my password, but they also ordered about $150 in movies and songs which I don't even like.     If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

    The questions I have is that what if I don't have the SAT results and or never took the SAT? It says it's required in the application. On the application it also asks for a rank. In my school, they don't give ranks. What should I put on the two (SAT & Rank) fields?

    A lot of schools don't rank their students, and there are several highly ranked prep schools that I'm aware of that don't issue grades to students, either; but, it is a very rare college that admits students without having taken the SAT and/or ACT. If you have no class ranking and no SAT score, then I would think it will be very difficult for you to compete with students who are able to supply these numbers.
    Additionally, the rules state several times that the application must be completed in its entirety. If you are unable to complete the application in its entirety, then you will not qualify for one of these scholarships:

  • Where to get free OS 9 Installation CD & How to contact Apple without a pho

    I am new users...your patience and help is appreciated.
    Two issues :
    Issue 1)
    Trying work with foreign languages (both view and enter). Actually, view seems to work fine...enter is the hard part. Having a little trouble setting it up on a Macbook with OS 10.5. I found two articles on the apple support site. One for 10.0 and one for 10.2. Nothing (help, support, tips, etc.) for 10.5.
    The article for 10.0 (which I assume is not all that different, being unix based, than 10.5)....well, that article says that I need the OS 9 installation CD. It clearly says that OS 10 will not work without some components from that CD (see second to last sentence in Note 1).

    Also, note that the article is titled for 10.1 but list products affected as 10.0.
    Anyhow, where can I get the CD? Hope I do not have to buy it...

    Well, I decide to contact apple about this (looked at the support contact page).
    I was suprised to learn they only accept emails if you have a problem with iTunes or Apple Photo ("Email support is available for *iTunes Store* and *Apple Photo Services* only.") (their bold fonts, not mine). Online support (request through a web form) is only available to request a repair or replacement part. They have live chat...but only for Mobile Me and iTunes.
    Why do you think the refuse to let people who buy their computers contact them electronically?
    Seems difficut to get in touch with them if you own a Macbook. Any suggestions? A phone call may work, but would like to document the issue for them and for my history. I guess they don't want a written record of people's issues? (sounds sarcastic...but really...no emails unless it is about music or pictures?)
    Well, I hope the machine will be a good fit in the long run.
    Any help with either of these is appreciated.

    I placed an order on October 26 and Apples telephone sales people kept making mistakes and the computers were cancelled or shipment that came here was refused, as I was told to do so by the sales people.

    If you ordered the machine with 4gb of ram direct from Apple, then they did you a favour by messing up the order.
    You will save much more money by ordering the machine with 2gb of ram and then purchasing ram elsewhere. For example - www.Crucial.com - compare the prices of the ram from them and then from Apple. The ram supplied by Crucial is made by Micron who also supply Apple with the same ram, so you could spend less and get exactly the same chips.
    Good luck.
    PS - the Crucial ram warranty is lifetime as opposed to Apple supplied ram which is only warranted as long as the computer is.

  • How to contact Apple Care since the recall?

    Just my luck that I need Apple Care today of all days. You can't get through via telephone all you get is the message to call back. Need to see if I can get a new key board as the current is about half blank. Can't even get through on the support page trying to check my Apple Care status. With the battery recall every Apple website or telephone is jammed. Is there any way to contact Apple Care other than the telephone? Or do we just have to wait until next week when things calm down?
    At this point I can't even find out when my Apple Care expires and I know it's getting close to the end of the 3 years.

    The Mac Genius there can get a replacement keyboard for you. In addition, you can put your serial number in the field under "About Your Support Coverage" on the main Apple.com/Support Web page. This will tell you how much longer you have on your AppleCare Protection Plan. It seems to be working right now for me.
