How to contact SAP

Hi Friends,
We are getting short dump in SAP Generated program. We found the bug in the SAP program. How to report SAP from OSS notes(Service market place).
Please give me steps how to contact SAP from SAP service marlet place(OSS notes).

There are 2 ways with which you can contact SAP.
1. Thru Service.sap.com - you must have id and password and also authorization to send messages to SAP.
If you have all of that, then log on to service.sap.com - support portal - send customer message to SAP. This open up the screen where you can type your problems / issues and send to sap. When SAP responds to you, it will appear a an item.
2. or OSS1 t code and this will ooepn up another screen "log on to sapnet". even here you need to have id and password and the required authorizations to contat SAP.

To reinstall on the new computer you will need
- serial number
- CD or install file you saved from download
- old serial number, if it was an upgrade
It may say "too many activations"; if so, contact Adobe

Contacting SAP Global Support

Kind of a silly question, but has anybody evercontacted SAP Global support? I am tryimng to find out how to contact Global support. Thorugh a support callI placed earlier, I was told to contact Global support to schedule a webex session, but I can not find where or how to contact them. Could someone assist me here .. With the changes in the websites lately, I haven't figired out where everything was moved to !!!

How to enable SAP* this user again ?

Dear Experts,
We are losing SAP*'s password in our sap4.7 system . and then we update the table record by following sql command :
update sapxxx.usr02 set bname = 'SAPBK' where mandt = 000 and bname = 'SAP' ;
commit ;
Of course , we changed the sap* password to 'PASS' sucessfully . But when we update the record again , we found that the SAP*'s password still being 'PASS' whatever we try to use 'SU01' to reset or update the sqlcommand again and again ....
Has someone can tell me how to restore SAP* this user to 'normal' status ? Many thanks ....

Delete SAP* from usr02 table
delete from sapxxx.usr02 where mandt = 000 and bname = 'SAP*' ;
commit ;
2. Go to T code SU01 in 000 client and create user SAP* and make it copy of user DDIC.

You need an account for the ES Workplace. I'm afraid this is not free, e.g. check [SAP NetWeaver, Composition Subscription|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/subscriptions/composition].
But I thought you wanted to play with a WSDL [you already had at hand|Sample code to access BAPI Web services from JAVA required;?

5On-line store and how to contact Creative directly?CHi everybody. Came up with the following problem: I'm from Ukraine and I'm not able to buy anything from Creative on-line store.... I mean you don't send products to Ukraine. Why is that? Is that so difficult? Just to send it by express or regular mail? Anyway I pay forward for everything.
Well, fine, may be there're some reasons for that. I've found your russian representati'ves and came up with the problem that they don't have on their web-site on-line store at all. Well, they have a link to it, but it's just a blank page....
Moreover I couldn't find any online help(chat) or e-mail or feedback form to write my questions. That is really annoying. The same situation was with apple online store....where I had to spent around 2 hours to find some online chat and ask.
No information on where to buy your products in Russia or in Ukraine, no on line store on russian web site, and finally impossibility to buy products in main on line store.
I would be greatfull for any information.

Well, I've been to this page. I can't send a message because I don't have yet any creative product and so I can't fill in the form few required fields (Date of purchase and serial number).

How to run SAP BUSINESS ONE 8.8 clients on windows and use MaxDB on linux/W

As the subject shows we have SAP BUSINESS ONE 8.8 and I want to find out how to use it in combination with MaxDB instead of MS SQL. I find a lot of MaxDB stuff on the net but no guides on how to setup SAP BUSINESS ONE 8.8 clients on windows workstations and connect them to MaxDB.
Is this possible and if so how do I go about doing it ?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated .

I suggest you to check the supported server for B1 in this link:
http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/platforms
You will know the sap b1 supported platform.
If you really want to use maxDB on linux/W as B1 server, you can send a development request to SAP AG.

I donu2019t know your requirements, anyway itu2019s possible to setup your SAP job in order to start after an event, and after that you can get the event triggered from the Operating System in the following way:
- log into you Operating System with the SIDadm user id (at the Operating System level) and go to directory /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run
- Run the SAPEVT executable as follows:
sapevt YOUR_EVENT -t pf=/usr/sap/SID/SYS/profile/DEV_DVEBMGS00_server001 nr=01
This will raise the event, and cause the job scheduled within SAP to execute.
You can periodically execute this job with crontab.

How many contacts can the iPhone hold....now?

This question was asked back in 2008 and has been archived, however I'd like to revisit this issue.
What I'd like to know, is this:
How many contacts can the iPhone hold before it effects performance?
I have a iPhone user with an MS Exchange email account on the phone, Calendar and Contact sync is turned on. The problem is, the user has 10,000 contacts.
The contacts synchronized to the iphone, however, when writing emails or doing any task that accesses the contacts database (i.e. auto-completion of names), There is a good 35 to 40 second lag before you can enter the second letter of a name on the keyboard. I can only assume that this is due to the pure insanity of having 10,000 contacts on a mobile device... The search takes too long. Although it did work just fine on the blackberry (a lessor device ).
Can anyone tell me if there is a limit on how many contacts one can successfully store on an iPhone without running into the "lag" issue?

What is the overall size of all these songs?
This will determine how many songs the iPhone can hold.
The actual capacity of an 8GB iPhone is around 7.3 GB - OS X alone takes up approximately 500MB.
You should leave some free space available on the iPhone for general operating purposes and if you access any email accounts and for Safari cache purposes, etc.
So you have around 7GB available - as long as the overall size of all 9400 songs isn't greater than 7GB or so, you are covered.
