    No need for alarm. There are several folks a day posting like threads. Most folks know these phishing attempts for what they are and merely delete with prejudice.
    To the bottom line... if you wish - and I am sure Apple will take notice - you should FORWARD the email to [email protected] and delete.

    Why do I have to request proper customer support through a forum? I mistakenly thought proper customer support came from dealing with a proper company.
    "If my problem merits the need for phone support it could be offered" - by who and who decides? Are you saying Adobe keep tabs of everything being said here and if no-one can find the solution for them they step in?
    And as for having to search for the (phone) contact information, forgive me if I thought that would be forthcoming from a company I've dealt with for over 15 years and paid God knows how much too over that time.
    I know what I need and it's a technical / accounts / serial numbers / need to talk to a human being and not sales (for some reason that number is easiy tio find) requirement.
    If the phone number was avaialble I could probably sort this out fairly quickly rather than waste everyone's time in the hope Adobe get the answers for free.

    My brand new MacBook Air is receiving my partner's iMessages instead of mine, and all messages I send, go as from him. (Which has been highly embarrasing).
    I've already checked that my macine is linked to my Apple ID, which only has my phone numbers associated with it. I have already signed out, and signed back in.
    It is a brand new machine. But I believe I entered his number instead of mine when initially setting up my MacBook, and can't figure out how to change the phone number associated with this machine.
    His number is the only number which appears under: "You can be reached for messages at:" under Settings/Accounts.

    You can not change the number. That is linked to the phone the Apple ID is used on. Is he signed in on his phone with your Apple ID? Are you sharing an Apple ID?
    If you are sure you are signed in with your Apple ID and he is not using yours on his phone, then check the settings for iMessage on your phone: Settings > Messages > Send & Recieve. Is that the correct number? If so turn off iMesssage on your phone then turn it back on. Go back to your Mac and sign oput of iMessage then back in.

    Want to enter an 800 calling card number, followed by PIN, followed by phone number.  I've tried every possible way of entering the numbers, pausing, etc. and I'm *really* frustrated.
    Never was an issue with my iPhone 4.

I can not activate icloud because when I put my e-mail address it answers that somebody is already using my address. I have my old e-mails, but I can not receive any e-mail or send them.
    I have contacted Apple Technical Support in Spain and I was sent an e-mail saying that I have to call a phone number and when I call it is always an answering machine who answers that says that I have to pay 50€ for a consultation or wait for 10 minutes. When I have made the consultation it was never mentioned that I have to pay 50€ for a phone consultation. If I don't want to wait I have to pay for the Apple Tecnical Support which cost 250 €, this was not mentioned in the technical support page.
    Can somebody let me know how can I contact Apple in another way in order to talk with a human being or chat directly? I was very happy just using my mobileme e-mails, I didn't need any clouds and I was force by Apple to registered if I want to continue using my mobileme e-mail address.

If a person types in a single digit, how do I have a validation check to ensure that he has to type in 8 digits? Under Validation Pattern, I typed in 99999999 but the person can still type in a single digit and still pass through! It will only validate when a person types in more than 8 digits.

    Again, I use code to check the string against a regular expression. My expressiong validates that a string contains valid US phone pattern. Ex. (999) 999-9999 or (999)999-9999 or 1234567890
