How to control budgeting from PR or PO?

Hi All,
when I create new PR or PO and match Project Number that set budgeting. I want thse system check budgeting before, If total PR or PO is over budgeting in any task of project I want system show message to inform message.
Please advice me.

You should enter the budget amount for the project on the budget entry form (using Forms, if you implemented Projects Costing) or on Financial Plan page (using HTML page if you have implemented Project Management).
When you enter a PR or PO then system usually does not make any validation for budget existence. System only validate the project and task are valid, the project status allows charges and the task dates range include the EI date of the PR/PO.
If you want the system to check that there is available budget to cover the PR or PO you could consider enabling the special features of Budgetary Control. You can review that functionality on Project Management User Guide. The Budgetary Control functionality may work with budget using Forms. It is not working fir budget entered as Financial Plan on HTML pages.

Cover flow into album art and how to control iTunes from another app.

Hi all 2 areas of concen, one is coverflow/ album art and the other is itunes controller:
I have searched but cannot find the answer to this:
1) I have some songs with album info already, and I used iTunes to get the album art for coverflow etc. ... some songs from the same album did not have the album category filled in, I go back and fill it in: now how do I get iTunes to recognize the album art so it shows up for the newly corrected songs?
2) In coverflow, iTunes picked the wrong album cover, can I manually fix it/pick the right one?
3) will coverflow only show album art for those albums recognized by iTunes, or will it use album art that I get from other sources and add manually? And what will show up in my ipod?
and lastly
4), is there anyway to control iTunes without switching apps (if I am working in Word or safari and want to skip a song, etc)...is there an overlay controller?

How can i get the names of the controls inside a class private data?
I am using Actor Framework and trying to create a method tha will be executed when launch the actor. This method need a list o all the control names inside the class data to search for the initial value inside a configuration file (config.ini), the key on the configuration file will be the name of the control.

You are already making the overriding method just because you have to write to the Bundle By Name. And then how are you going to handle all of the data types the keys could be. You are making things more difficult than it should be for really very little benefit.

How to control use from using GL that have been retricted

the scenario is like this, i need to create new roles in order to control certain user from finance dept which there are no have a authorization to POST certain GL.
i have check my current roles setting, it seems there are no roles that have been created so what is the object that can i use ?

The easiest way to do this is to work out the GL accounts you want to use.
Add an authorization group in control data in the GL master FS00.
make sure the users have the same authorization object in the profile which is
F_BKPF_BES and BRGRU = your new authorization group.
In terms of restricting the postings for certain periods, the authorization group needs to be added in OB52 against the correct posting period variant, and the users will need access to the authorization group in their profile via F_BKPF_BUP.
You may need to run this by your secruity officer, however authorizations are maintained in PFCG.

I need to do Budgeting for a client, they do all their Budgeting work using Excel, I've never worked on Budgeting before so I'm experiencing some errors & difficulties, such as, at the Create Journal window, it gives an Error: APP_SQLGL_08021: There are no budget journal transaction available for this action.
or it gives no value at the Summary Template....
I AM TOTALLY CONFUSED!!
I really could use some help, so please direct me to some useful links that I can find a Step by Step documentation regarding this subject with details.

The user guide on General Ledger extensively lists the steps involved in Budgeting. In summary:
--Create a Budget Organization giving the account ranges for which you want to budget.
--Create a Budget in which you want to enter Budget Amounts.
--Open the Budget Year from the Define Budget window.
--Enter the Budget Amounts through Journal if the Budget requires Journals (Budget -> Enter -> Jounrals)
You can not directly create budget journals from the Enter Journal window. Budget Journals can be created either through (Budget -> Enter -> Jounrals) or ADI.
Once the Budget Journals are created, post the same and run Trial Balance - Budget for verification.
That's all.

How to control adobe flash files with sliders and buttons

I am trying to make a front panel for a vehicle completely designed in flash, and control it through labview. I can load a flash file into an activex container successfully. I have followed this thread here http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=351719 and gotten everything working.
But my question is, how can I send data to the flash file from labview? Some examples of things I need to do: Interpret a CAN signal and have some text appear on the screen, Make buttons flash, etc.
I understand how to load the swf, Im just not sure how to communicate with it. One thing to mention is that the front panel for the vehicle will be fully custom coded. However in the meantime, I am trying to figure out how to control it from labview. Like if there is a clock.swf out on the net, how can I change the time from labview? Is there a way to see what parameters are available for changing?

What specific Active X framework are you using to embed the container? The thread you referenced mentions Shockwave's Active X API, does this set of Active X functions expose methods for object control?
Could you elaborate as to the driver behind a fully Flash based front panel embedded within LabVIEW? Is this application inevitably going to be deployed as thin client software?

I create budget for 2007 and I use it .in 2008 I create new budget with new amount for account, but still there are amount from 2007-I want to use or transfer it to 2008,
How to do this? Please give me details step to implement to this feature

Hi,
There are two ways to do it:
1. Define the account range in your Budget Organization and in the Budgetary Control region, out the Amount Type as "PJTD" and Boundary as "Project". This method is useful when you have project as a segment in your chart of accounts and the Budgets are defined for the full project.
2. The Other way is to carry forward your funds available from last year. Go to Journals -> Generate -> Carry Forward and carry forward the balance for a certain range of account from one financial year to the next one.

How can i use labview.tlb to control Labview from an external application?

I've been told by a labview engineer that i could use the file
labview.tlb located in the labview install folder to control labview
from an external application (in my case, a C# app). I'm using Labview
6.1 under Windows 2000. This article confirms that:

But i've not been able to find out how to use this file to achieve

Thanks for the link, i actually already found this link before. I've
found yesterday how to use Labview.tlb, just add it to the references
of the project, it was probably too easy for me at that time:-) But
now, i'm still stuck as there is no doc about using the interfaces and
classes of this activex to control labview.
The example given on your link is made is C++ and for some reasons,
the wrapper generated for Labview.tlb when i added it to my c# project
doesn't seem to expose the same
interfaces and classes as the one used
in the C++ example. I therefore can't use the C++ example in C#.
I've tried to do something like:
LabVIEW.ApplicationClass a = new LabVIEW.ApplicationClass();
Just this line causes labview to launch but then immediately throws an
exception: "Query interface for interface LabVIEW._IApplication
failed".
Does somebody knows how to use that control in C#/VB.NET ?

How to control a NI USB 6210 from a Lab View program?

Hi,
I started today with Lab View with some earlier experience long ago.
While it took me only about half an hour to get my first program running (great), installation time nor included (of course), I meanwhile read documents for some hours and cannot find out how to control measurement hardware in Lab View.
I want to use a USB 6210 to set a 1-bit digital port. But at the moment there is no USB6210 available so I wanted to write (or do you say draw ?) the program without it and if possible simulate the hardware.
I drew DAQ Assistant into my block diagram and selected digital line output but get "No supported devices found". I don't know if the appropriate driver was installed during Lab View installation.
Also I don't understand the mechanism between DAQmx, tasks and the real hardware. Now I have a "Digital Bool 1Line 1Point" Control in my block diagram. How do signals get from program flow to hardware pin? How can I create a simulation for not connected hardware?
Any help is greatly welcome

Launch MAX, it was known as Measurement and Automation Explorer, there should be a shortcut in your start menu / desktop. Under devices and interfaces you can find your hardware and open test panels to control it. This is the first place to ensure your hardware is working. If the device isn't seen you'll need to install the drivers and DAQmx software. If it is there, great.
Now launch LabVIEW. The easiest way to control hardware is using the DAQ Assistant. It has many limitations and isn't recommended for large applications. But for something quick and dirty it works fine. You'll find it under the Measurement I/O >> NI DAQmx palette on the block diagram. If it isn't there you may need to reinstall the DAQmx drivers. This can happen if you installed DAQmx before LabVIEW.
Also you'll find under Help >> Find Examples on the toolbar, many examples on controlling hardware. Feel free to post some code if you are having problems.

You got me curious (even though I've never used coupons.com, and I have an AirPrint printer). So I checked out coupons.com in the iTunes Store and found the following two reviews that I think explain everything:

Toolkit for CreateJS: How to control the main timeline from outside the canvas.

Hey Everyone,
I'm currently trying to do something simple, but my animation breaks whenever I attempt to change my code. I have created a basic animation in Flash where an object moves from the left side of the canvas, to the right, and then loops from the last frame to the first frame. Nothing else. The animation is simply put on the main timeline. I exported the animation with Toolkit for CreateJS through Flash's extension and the animation runs as it should. I am trying to start and stop (restarting from the first frame) the animation with mouse over and mouse off events. I want the events to fire when moused over/off a div OUTSIDE the animation's canvas tag. Is this possible with CreateJS? I'm trying to figure out how to control the main timeline without being inside the canvas tag.

So on the "mouseover" all movieclips on the stage could be stopped with stop and on the "mouseout" all children could be restarted with gotoAndPlay like this:
