How to Control extra mobile Card(3.5G / WiMAX /LTE)

Hi All
If someone had tested these mobile device on ZCM11 lab?? in the past, I block 3.5G Card by using disable modem registry...but I re-test the new 3.5G card, it work fail (because the work function is different.), So I want to know if ZCM11 could control or block these mobile device.....(the function is very important for Bank or technical IC design users!!)

How do you disable mobile account settings/parental controls

My school had a one-to-one macbook program, but I switched schools. Now i have a heavily restricted computer. They had my account set to mobile and had parental controls enabled, so I used single user mode to create a new admin (remove /var/db/.applesetupdone and reboot) and remove them. However, even though no account has parental controls turned on, they are still enabled somewhere for all accounts, even admins. I have two questions: how do i disable mobile account settings, and where are the parental controls files located? I found some in /library/managed preferences/<account name here> , but editing these gives only temporary relief from parental controls, and they are reset when i restart. There has to be somewhere else that parental controls are flagged as on/set to sync on login. i removed the actual parental controls executables and stuff somewhere in /system but after that i couldnt open activity monitor and i didnt want to risk a reboot. please help me as this is very annoying. btw im on OS X 10.6.7

Try this..
Open System Preferences/MobileMe and select the Sync tab.
Deselect the box where you see: Synchronize with MobileMe. The last sync will noted at the bottom left side of the window.

How to control an Apple Base Station with 3rd-party wireless card?

I recently upgraded my early 2004 Power Mac G5 2GHz DP to the 802.11n standard using a Newertechnology MAXPower 802.11n/g/b Wireless PCI Adapter to communicate with my new "n"-standard 2TB Time Capsule. My G5 shipped with an 802.11g-standard Airport Card which I disconnected when I installed the PCI card to avoid hardware conflicts. The new n-standard wireless set-up works without a problem, but having lost the Apple Airport Card, I no longer have the ability to control/manipulate the Timecapsule via the third-party card e.g. I cannot connect/disconnect my internet connection or otherwise troubleshoot the base station.
So, the question is, how can control an Apple base station with a third-party wireless card? As it stands now, I must boot up my laptop just to see if I have a connection.

Thanks for the assistance. Yes, I can indeed administer the Time Capsule from inside the Airport Utility, but I am still unable to connect or disconnect the Internet connection like you can with an Airport card (using the Airport drop-down menu.) If my ISP signal drops for whatever reason (which is does often) I have to boot up my laptop just to reconnect. Is there some feature within the Airport Utility that permits one to connect/disconnect the signal? If there is, I haven't found it yet.

We are trying to develope some softwares to control 2 DAQ cards(5102) to collect view and analyse the data. And set for sampling rate, time interval etc.
And we need to trigger the total 4 channels at the same time.

Depends on what you want to do, but this is one way to do it.
Configure task 1, configure task 2 (task 1 and 2 have the same hardware triggrer and both tasks are triggered to start on same signal either through RTSI or physically wiring). Inside of a loop, read task 1 read task 2 (depends on the relative rates of the tasks you might need 2 parallel loops) when daq is cone, exit the read loop and close the tasks.

How to print a greeting card

I used to print greetings cards on windows easily. I still don't know how to do it well on my MacBook. Can anyone te me how to print a folded card on a MacBook Pro using an HP color printer? On windows, there are direction on where to fold the paper so that you have a front, then open the folded paper to a message. It even let you put your own little hallmark-like logo on the back page.

You used a specialized program that did that apparently.
You can sort of mimic that using free drawing software like LibreOffice importing a picture, scaling it to fit a corner and creating text and rotating it and positioning it like so, then folding and trimming the edges, then lightly gluing it together.

There are rulers on the sides so you know where to place things and you can use a ruler when it's printed to find where to make the folds.

I tried deleting the name in the list and it won't let me - doesn't highlight. Same under the Edit tab - it won't hilight. This card is not like the other cards where you can do that. I believe the contact has a Facebook acct. and I do to. I didn't - to my knowledge - add this card from there. I don't know if that is possible. Bugs me that Facebook has control over my Contact List or so it seems. I will see if Facebook can give me any clues. Thank you.

If your source file is flat file, add extra three fields with blank (just add field separator say comma for each extra field) and then load. It should be ok.

How to control the looping time of the for loop in 10 microseconds in labview?

I need to create a +/- 9 volt square wave with period of 20us using a D/A card (Not NI card). I can write command to the card using outport provide by Labview. Right now, I can generate square wave with 4ms period which is limited by the resolution of the wait until next ms icon I used inside the for loop. Could anyone tell me how to control the execution time of the for loop to about 10 us? Your help would be much appreciated.

Apple's xpress port has a problem with Apogee mobile card...

What I mean is the microphone jack on your x-fi notebook. since you are saying you can hear yourself when you switch the recording source to microphone, I would assume that you have plugged in a microphone into your x-fi notebook. You should check if there is a microphone control on your volume mixer and whether it is unmuted if there is one. There are many sound card which allows for the microphone audio to be heard on the speaker output if the microphone source is unmuted.

This gets confusing, you have two Macs with different issues and two pedals with different issues? First let's sort out what's what. So, do the issues come from the pedals or from the Mac software? To find out, simply switch the pedals and note their behaviour. No change: it's the software, change: it's the pedals (imho the most likely scenario).
Second, what kind of pedals are they? Can you name the type of pedal too? The Yamaha what and the Mgear which?
Third, with the 4 fold data problem, are the doubled events simultaneous, or a few ticks apart, or more?
Also, you have no MIDI keyboard? Are the pedals both "standalone"?
I think you have to sort this problem at its' source, which are the pedals. You could, if push really comes to shove, perhaps create some sort of ingeneous/elaborate transformer setup in the environment to filter the extra messages, although with the 4/4 sustain events that may not even be possible. With the "stepped" events you could set up a filter to just block all events with values 20-110 or so.
But much better would be to configure the pedal(s) correctly.

Yep,you have to look at JSR 75 (File Connection API). But:
1) You need to understand is your phone model supports JSR 75

I want control the push type solenoid for x-ray pulsing. I don't have any idea how to interface the solenoid with Labview. The solenoid does not have a serial port it just have two power cable. The parameters aren't too outlandish, so all you should need is a relay the coil of which is within the capabilities of the DAQ card (you can find the specs in the manual) an with contacts that can handle 12v at, say, an amp -- always good to provide a little overhead. One thing to be sure to include or find a relay that has one built in, in a flyback diode.
Flyback diodes are installed such that they are reverse biases when power is applied to energize the relay. They are needed because when you deenergize the relay the magnetic field in the coil will begin to collapse and induce a reverse EMF the coil wires. The purpose of the diode is to provide this voltage with a path to ground that doesn't involve frying your digital io board.

How to control what channel the airport uses

Hey guys I currently have 2 networks that have the exact same SSID and the network that has the stronger signal is not meant to work. I was wondering how I could control the airport to only use a specific channel. I can figure out what channel I need to use, I just need a way to specify to the airport card what channel to use... Thanks.
PS: if it matters I also have a ASUS WL-167g usb adapter that I can use (rausb)

How to control HV power supply (0-5V control voltage)?

Hey there,
I (LV newbie) wonder how to control my DELTA ELEKTRONIKA Powersupply with Labview. The control interface is a 0-5V analog input to set the power supply's output current.
Also I want to get some feedback of the set power supply current from an second (GPIB-controlled) instrument.
So how do I have to program a closed loop contol (application is not time critical), cause it would be mixed up of controlling by analog out (0-5V) and feedback loop driven on the GPIB-Card?
For a first step a simple control loop to set the current and monitor it on an analog input would also be an assistance .
