How to Control the "tab order" in Adobe Captivate 8?

Hi Guys,
I was just trying to insert "tab order" to the module that I am creating using Adobe Captivate Version 8. I was not able to insert the tab order feature when I switched to the responsive project mode (project for Destop, Tablet, and Mobile).
Kindly guide me to insert tab order. I have checked all the online resources but was not able to find the relevant steps to create "tab order" in Captivate 8.

Hi,
You can set the Tab order for Interactive objects from the Properties panel:
This will open a dialog where you can arrange the order for all the interactive objects on your slide.

I had the privledge of working for Ron Davis when he managed the Allegheny District of DEC. He was an ex-WO4 (Highest possilbe rank for non-commisioned officer in US Navy, required act of congress to confirm).

How to change the tab order in adf forms.

Hi,
I design a from in adf jsff page.In the form i have 4 components. These components are surrounded with a panel form layout. Now if i put number of columns as 2 in the property inspector of the PFL.
Components appear as 2 fields in the first row and next two fields are in the second row.
Now my doubt is, when I tab out 1 field to another field. The tab out is Horizontal. But I want the tab out to be vertical. Please suggest how to make the tab out feature as vertical.

I don't think we have something called tab index in adf like in javascript. This may not possible in adf.

How to Control the Sorting Order of iPhone Contacts from Outlook?

In a series of editing steps we've loaded ca. 1,900 personal and business contacts from Outlook into a 1st gen iPhone with 2.0.1 software on it. To our surprise we found that while most of the entries were listed and sorted by company, certain entries were listed and sorted by the person's name. It looked random and there didn't seem to be any way to control it on the iPhone.
While troubleshooting the problem we synced up the iPhone with an empty Address Book on a MacBook Pro and found that the sort order flag was indeed set differently on these entries. When we changed the sorting flag of a contact in the Mac's Address Book to "Company" it also changed on the iPhone after the next sync.
Problem: In our business environment it is impossible to switch to Macs for contact administration. We need to do it from Outlook. This is one of several features needed for the adoption of iPhones.
Question: Is there a way to control this flag on the individual iPhone contact entries from Outlook Contacts?

Well, I think we figured it out.
Outlook doesn't offer a sorting flag on person or company name. Instead it uses a separate "File As" string. The problem with our contacts was that this "File As" string was frequently edited to be something else than exactly the personal or company name, e.g. it was set to an abbreviated company name. Once we set the "File As" to any of the defaults offered, i.e. person or company name, the sorting flag in iPhone was properly set through the synchronization.
Obviously, the application logic compares the content of these fields in Outlook and decides how to set the flag. If it can't find the company name in "File As" it defaults to person.
This was an expensive holdup for us. It cost us 2 man days to figure it out. Is there any place where such application logic is described?

I am using tab control and event structure in the program.
When i run the application event is not happening for the active page.
When user switches from active page to the other page then event is taking place for all pages
So, how to get the event trigger for the active page when the application is started

You have a basic misunderstanding of dataflow. Maybe you should start with some tutorials or study some of the examples that ship with LabVIEW.
The event structure belongs inside the while loop, and not vice versa. RIght now, the event structure only runs exactly once and never again.
If the stop is pressed first, the VI will stop. Game over.
If the tab control is changed (from any state to any other state!), the inner loop will spin forever as fast as the CPU allows, either executing one or the other case. It just reads the tab terminal to decide which case to execute. Changing tab never triggers any events. The VI is trapped inside the event until stop is pressed to stop the VI.

How to control the tab key navigate on the parameter ?

Hi all,
I have list of 20 parameter value which needs to be filled by the user when the report is being called. I have put the layout in the horizontal width where field1 - field 5 was in a column, field6 - field 10 another column, field11 - filed 15 again another column. So, when user is trying to enter parameter value, it suppose to go thru column by column but now after enter 1st value in the parameter form. The cursor is jump to second column, and I was unable to way how the navigate of column in report. Is there any way to control it such as in the oracle form ?

How does one control the tab order (the order in which controls are visited when the TAB key is pressed) in a JavaFX 1.3.1 application?

Let me explain a little bit more my problem, maybe you guys get a good way to do this.
Ok, I have a tab control with 4 tabs (Auto Mode, Manual Mode, Troubleshooting and Configuration) in that order. In the "Auto Mode and Manual Mode tabs I have a selector switch to select the operation mode (auto or manual). Now, when I have the switch in auto mode, the manual mode tab page is hidden, when I change the selector switch to manual mode the manual mode tab page is unhide, the auto mode tab page is hide and the manual mode tab page is automatically selected. This happens because my manual mode page is the second one and when the page before is hidden the next one get active. The problem came up when I change the switch back to manual mode. I want that the auto mode page unhide, the manual mode page hide and the auto mode page get active, but instead the page that came active is the troubleshooting page since this is the one after the manual mode page.
So, what I was planning to do was to rearrange the pages order when auto or manual mode are selected so that the second page be always the hidden one.
Maybe I confuse you guys more, but that'sthe idea. If something came out of your mind, I really appreciate the help.

Ya. I'm adding rows in a table dynamically which is grouped in a subform which is flowable and the buttons are placed in the same subform. At the end of the row I'm having the hidden fields.
So what I want is without focusing the tab on hidden field I want to traverse the first field of the next dynamic row. For that I have used the access property as protected on hidden field, but its not working properly.
Please help me on this ASAP.

I need to be able to select the tabbing order of individual controls on a single page of a tabbed control. How??

In LV 6.1 an up you should be ablel to right click on the edge of the tab control when the tab-page in question is selected.
The bttom selcetion in the pop-up is "Reoder controls in page..."
selecting this option will switch editing modes to allow you to specify the ored, just like in a cluster.
I seem to remeber in older versions you had to drag the tabable controls off the tab control, specify the tabbing oder and then drag them back on. The oldest version I have on this machine is 6.1 so that all I can speak for at the moment.

"Tab" control and Tab order of controls inside the tab

Hello everybody,
I have created the tab control with 6 'tabs', inside every tab I have some controls, like edit fields etc. I wanted to make an order of controls for every tab, so I have selected the option "Tab-order settings" from menu "Edit" (sorry for translation, I use non-English version of LabView), and tried to set the order. After saving it with "OK" button it turned out that the order is not changed. Simple it seems that the option doesn't work for controls in tabs. Is this a bug or do you have a solution for this?

Sorry LabviewGuru, but I haven't found anything concerning Tab control and tab order inside it. Of course, I have found the topic "tabbing through front panel objects", but it simply describes how to change order for standard controls, not for controls which are inside the Tab control. But maybe you have another, extended help? So can you please copy and paste to discussion forum message this part of your help which concerns the Tab control and tab order, and then send the message?

Need to set the tab order in HTMLB controls

I readed in another thread that it was not possible to set the tab order in HTMLB controls on BSP forms.
However it was possible to do a little workaround, by setting the tooltip property, and put in the tabindex in that. Because Browsers do understand the property tabindex.
Examble:

How do I exempt a FIELD from the TAB ORDER on a form

How do I make a field NOT part of the TAB ORDER? In other words, you can Tab around the page but you will never select this object. I want to create a text message that will show on the screen only but is not a field for editing.
If this is in the "help" and I've missed it, sorry. I couldn't find anything about this.

I have a form that I created with the save, print, etc buttons. I created mine as text fields rather then buttons and under Common Properties I have the Form Field set as Visible But Does Not Print, and then of course it's set under Actions to Execute a Menu Command. That does show up in the tab panel, however if you close the form editing and then go through the tab order of the form it skips right over it. The downside to this is that you have to have the Select tool in order to click and there is no mouse over, it's just a cursor like it would be in any other text field.
This is the only solution that I have found that somehow works for this.

Sorry. I don't mean page tabs, but the order in which form fields are selected by the tab key. In simple html there is a value called tabindex and I was just wondering if there is a way to assign this order within a portal form. I have basically recreated the form with a custom layout and adjusted the table structure to force the order I was looking for, but it would be a nice add for future versions.

Controling the PM ORDER tabs and subscreen

We are trying to customize PM ORDER.
We looked for a way in which we could control the appearance of tabs and subscreens in customization and found none.
We found that ther is a BADI IWO1_SCREEN_MODIF that seems to be for that purpose.
Is it the only way or there is a way like when customizing notification.
Second question is about the notification fields when creating a PM ORDER that creates a notification. We have not found any way of controling the tabs and subscreens.

GuiXT is a SAP Partner software integrated with Standard SAP.
This helps in Changing the Field names, Location, Screen Layout etc with out any program and with simple syntax.
It gives amazing results if done properly. It has a big drawback too. It is PC specific & cannot be controlled based on who logins etc. But if you want same screen through out your Business the small TXT file created can be copied into other PC (personal Computer) as well.
For detailed information on this see the link www.synactive.net. It has some Tutorials too there.
The path in SAP to activate it is Click on "Customise Local Layout" the button adjacent to Help button after you logon.
Under that you will see "Activate GuiXT". From there on you can proceed. When you do not require switch it off as it is Toggle Button.
