How to convert 25fps Audio to 24fps ???????

Hi,
I hv just finished a music video and convertd it to 24fps from 25fps to make " FILM LIKE LOOK" in After effects.....now the audio seems out of sync and i tried to decrease speed of audio by 4% as i heard somewhere but it didn't work.. is this possible in Adobe..I am using Adobe CS5 Production premium....Or is there any free software in the market to fix this????? m sure m not the 1st havng this problem ...
NEED HELP
Regards

You didn't say how you changed the timing in After Effects. Did you use time stretch? Time remapping? Conforming to a frame rate?
Here's a relevant excerpt from After Effects Help:
"Note: Conforming can change the synchronization of visual footage that has an audio track, because changing the frame rate changes the duration of the video but leaves the audio unchanged. If you want to stretch both audio and video, use the Time Stretch command. (See Time-stretch a layer.)"

  • How to convert lossless audio files in itunes to AAC or mp3 in itunes 10

i noticed some files won't upload to my kids older ipod shuffle (2nd). they are the larger less or uncompressed file types.
i've got itunes 10 and there is no way to convert the files to AAC or mp3 that i can see. these are files in my library. i would like to create a playlist for his ipod in AAC: from library to playlist

This explains how to covert song files.  It works in iTunes 10.  You set the import preference to the file type you want and the Advanced menu > Create  XXX Version will change to match.

  • Hi Guys. Please would you advice how to convert an audio track recorded from my cheap bass guitar to a great bass guitar sound from the bass collection of Logic X

  • How to convert mono audio to stereo during import?

When I shoot my videos for YouTube I use an external mic which works great but when my camera records it, it is mono sound, so only the left channel of my source videos contain the talking.
In the previous version of iMovie 9 I used to be able to export using QuickTime and convert the audio to mono so the final video which is uploaded has sound coming out of both speakers.
Honestly I don't care what format my exported files are in, as long as they're HD and the audio is good. So the new .mp4 file format is no problem for me with iMovie 10.0.1
In the lastest version of iMovie (10.0.1) I can't see a way to convert my mono audio to "real" mono or stereo sound (whatever it's called) so the sound comes out of both speakers. Having the talking only coming out of one speaker now makes me look like an idiot on YouTube.
I tried a stereo/mono adapter where the mic connects to the camera but it resulted in no sound. So I'm hoping I can use an audio fix somehow using iMovie 10.0.1 to fix 'er up. What are my options guys?
Yes I'm aware I can still use iMovie 9, which is what I've reverted back to until I can fix this problem.
    Thanks.

For now, I think that is the best choice.
You could also buy QuickTime Pro 7 which will allow you to do the same mono conversion that iMovie version 9 does.

  • How to convert NTSC audio to PAL?

I have converted my PAL video to NTSC but the audio was mixed separately and so it's still set at 25fps and hence becomes out of sync when I lay it against the video track.
So how do I convert the separate audio.aiff files from 25fps to 30fps?
    Thx
    Kevin

    Hi Jim,
Wow right in front of me!
Though when I save it as a .wav file FCP still gets it at 25fps but if I save it as a .stap file it came in as 30fps.
    Cheers

  • Converting 30fps audio to 24fps

Anybody run into this issue? I need to convert the live concert audio from 30 fps to 24fps so it will sync with the camera footage. (Don't ask how it happened) Can Compressor do this? Any help would be much appreciated.

    I think compressor will not.
I did similar thing in Windows app called Adobe Audition.
First you need to "resample" - it is in edit menu, then "convert sample type" back to original.

  • Anyone know how to convert old audio files.

I have some old audio files going back to OS 7 or OS 9.   There is no file extension.
    Kind:  Unix Executable File
How can I convert these into something OS X will play.

That executable file type is just OSX's way of saying it doesn't know what it is.  Unfortunately during the OS7-OS9 days Apple dropped using file extensions. As I transitioned from DOS to Mac in the late 1980s I kept on adding them to all my files because I used several computers and would take a floppy from one to the other and needed to know what kind of files I had on there.  I still have sounds from OS7 days and I know what they are because I added extensions 24 years ago.
You might see if you can find a resource checking utility.  Resources are hidden file information about creator and type in older files.  I think I have one on this computer but I am running a G4 OSX 10.4.11 and it is Classic capable so I have all kinds of old software here that may not run on a newer computer.
IT is conceivable VLC might play the file.  It can do all kinds of things but I don't know how good its legacy format support is.

  • How to convert .mp2 audio files?

I've been given a large quantity of .mp2 audio files. They play fine in QuickTime Pro, but I need to add them to iTunes.
The inspector/properties in QT Pro says they are MPEG-1 audio files.
Can anyone recommend any utilities (freeware, preferably) that can convert them to anything else? I'm aware they are already lossy, so if I could get them to AIFF/WAV I would be happy. (Then I might experiment with AAC compression if it doesn't deteriorate the sound too much.)
I tried using Export in QT Pro, but it only gives me movie options (Movie to QT Movie, Movie to 3G, Movie to iPhone, etc...) and not any audio options (export to WAV, AIFF, etc.)

    Thanks!!
Just tried it and it converted to AIFF very well! A bit of a level boost, but otherwise intact.

  • How do I convert an audio CD format album in my library into MP3

Here's my problem. I have two vehicles. The older vehicle only plays audio CDs and the newer vehicle will play MP3 songs. So I want to burn two CDs, an audio and an MP3.
I imported my original CDs into iTunes and kept them in the original format, not as MP3. I then burned an audio CD and it plays correctly. Now I want to burn an MP3 CD but got an error that iTunes cannot burn the MP3 CD as the original songs are not in MP3 format. I don't know how to convert these songs to MP3 and in all the help info I have read there is nothing about this.
I really don't want to delete these songs from the library and re-import them as MP3. that's a lot of music and time.
    Does anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks, George

You can use iTunes to convert the songs from your CDs to another format. When you convert a song in iTunes it will be converted to the format that you have set to import your CDs in. Converting creates a second copy of the song in the format you have chosen which gives you the opportunity to either keep or delete the original. You can get details on these pages:

  • How to convert audio to 'uncompressed' audio

It is obvious from all the reports, that there is a problem with FCPX audio en 'Lion".
I have experienced this too. To avoid this I have been  trying to convert the audio of my movies to aiff.
So far I didn't succeed. My camcorder (panasonic SD900) records to surround or stereo and uses compression,
I do not know what format. So how can I convertcompressed audio to 'uncompressed' audio?

You can do this using a free application called MPEG Streamclip. Open your file, and then "Export Audio..." from the File Menu. Choose AIFF, 48Khz, and stero. (if you want to retain surround, it can be done but will be much more complicated). This will create an .aif file that you can now import and use in place of the audio that is part of the clip. If you have quicktime pro, you could also create a new .mov file with the video from the original media and the audio from the .aif file...then you can import the new .mov file to FCPX.

  • How to Convert iTunes Songs (Apple lossless audio file) to a MP3 for E-mail

How to Convert iTunes Songs (Apple lossless audio file) to a MP3 for E-mail?
My computer is Windows 7 and my Itunes software version is 1.0.2
    Many thanks in advance...

iTunes 1.0.2 is +at least+ eight years old.
The current version is 9.2, and it's free.
If that was a typo, and you're using something more current:
In the iTunes preferences, change the import settings to mp3.
Then select the songs you wish to convert.
From the "Advanced" menu, choose "Create mp3 version".
When done, change the import settings back to Apple Lossless.
    That's it.
BTW, this is the Logic Pro forum, which has absolutely nothing to do with iTunes.
