Is that suppose to be a racial joke? From his other post, I'm thinking he's actually serious. At first I thought it was just a troll, but even that email address looks correct (sina.com is a popular service in China and I don't expect an average troll to do 'research' like that).

how to convert a class file to exe file

    Hi Bhaskarq,
    Hi,
It is not at all possible.
But it is a really worst method.
    Please go through it.
This is a very common question asked in the comp.lang.java newsgroup. Its often useful to have an
    executable application when deploying your
applications to a specific platform, but remember to
make your .class files available for users running
    Unix/Macintosh/other platforms.
Microsoft provide a free system development kit (SDK),
for Java, which includes the jexegen tool. This
will convert class files into a .EXE form. The only
disadvantage is that users need a Microsoft Java
Virtual Machine (JVM) installed. If your target
platform is Win32, you can either redistribute the
    virtual
machine, or raise the level of your system
requirements, to include Windows 98, or Windows 95
    with
Internet Explorer 4. Systems matching these
requirements will already have a copy of the Microsoft
    Java Virtual Machine installed.
Note : You must specify all of the class files your
application needs (except for standard java packges)
as a parameter, so if you have third party libraries,
you'll need to include them as well. You can use wildcards * though, and you don't need the original source code.
Also please see this Forum which will give a good idea

I hope this will help you.

  • How to convert a .class file into .java file without .jad using DeJDecompil

    Hi all,
I am using DeJDecompiler and working with swing applications. If I try to convert a .class file into .java file,it is converting into .jad file only.Fine but if I try to save that file into .java file,It is giving lot of errors in that program. When I went into that program the total style of the program is changed and TRY-CATCH block is not recognised by the dejdecompiler, hence If I try to include some methods in the existing .java file thus got,I could not do.Kindly help me.
If I get the .java file without error then I can process the rest of the functionality.

  • Again,HOW to conver a .class file into .java one?

sorry , but Can't u send me a specific link for downloading this "Java decomplier"??
coz I found my self in something called (jad decompiler) with lots of versions and this is confusing
and Is that mean, that there's a decompiler which can convert the .class file into .java one?
and thanks alot man.....u help me always!
    (I'm still begginner in java)

Just to emphasise what yawmark said...
Decompiled java code is NEVER going to be as clear as well-written original java source code. The decompiler can see what the compiled code does but not why or what it means, so the source code that the decompiler produces is going to be ugly and hard to read. Decompilers are really only useful for experienced programmers who know what to infer, how to read between the lines...
If you need help writing something, then you're better off looking at tutorials. In tutorials the code will be well-commented.

    Hi,
Oracle R12.1.3 i am having illegal access error while try to access the class file version Java 1.3 uses major version 47,So how to convert the class file version without using decompiling.
    Current java version is 1.6.0_07
Is there any tool or API for converting class file version?
    Thanks,

Beside this I wonder where you get your error from since AFAIK 12c comes with java 1.6.
    Well wonder no more!
OP isn't using Oracle 12c database.
They are using Oracle R12.1.3 - which is the E- Business Suite.

  • How to convert a PDF file into a full editable WORD file?

    Hi,
I tried to convert a pdf file into word but it is not fully editable. I can edit the title from the main page and that's it. The rest of the word document is saved as image. I tried editing teh pdf file but that one is not working either.
Please help on how to convert a PDF file into a full editable WORD file.
    Thank you

Not all PDF files are created equal.  When a PDF file is created with Adobe Tools it is usually "tagged" with information about the fonts the images, the layout etc...    This way when the PDF is saved to a new format like PPT or DOC then the results are usually usable.  However, if you have a PDF file that was not tagged for some reason then run the Accessibility tools on the PDF to acquire some basic tagging.  This may get you a better result.  Also if you have a PDF that is an image, then you may want to run OCR on it.

    >But, from the windows explorer, if i do a right clic on the word document, with the context menu, i can directly convert to PDF
This is equivalent to using the PDFMaker facility in Word - that is,
the Acrobat button. Which is also the same thing that is done when you
use File > Create PDF > From File in Acrobat.
What it does is print to a PS file *and* do a lot of additional
processing to write stuff about links, tags etc. into the PS file.
    >(no tmp PS file is used, cause the links are still working).
This isn't true, but it's certainly the case that you won't get links.
There seems to be no API, via any mechanism, still less the "obsolete"
(Microsoft's view) command line, to use PDFMaker from your program.

Failed to load Main-class manifest attribute from c:\users\raghu\simplecalculator\build\classes\simplecalculator\simplecalci.jar
I am using netbeans and i have JRE 5 as well as JRE 6 installed.
I don't knw wat to do.Netbeans creates the .jar file for you,
Simply right click on the project node in nb and select
clean and buildnext goto the location of the project
    Eg:
C:\Documents and Settings\raghu0007\My Documents\NetBeans Projects\SimpleCalculcator\dist\There will usually be 2 files in there, 1 for the Gui parts and the other(.jar) the rest.
These two files must always be together (same directory for the jar file to work)
copy the dist folder to C:\Program Files\, Rename it and create a shortcut to the simplecalci.jar file
If you know the above just take a look at how you modified the MANAFEST file and the file(MF,class...) locations in the .jar
    For Windows XP

  • How to convert a HTML files into a text file using Java

    Hi guys...!
I was wondering if there is a way to convert a HTML file into a text file using java programing language. Likewise I would also like to know if there is a way to convert any type of file (excel, power point, and word) into text using java.
By the way, I really appreciated the help that you guys gave me on my previous topic on how to extract tests from a pdf file.
    Thank you....

HTML files are already text files. What do you mean you want to convert them?
I think if you search the web, you can find things for converting those MS Office files to text (or extracting text from them, as I assume you mean).
