How to convert a PFX file into mobileconfig format?
Hi,
I'm trying to automate the task of creating a mobileconfig file with a client certificate in it.
I understand that this is some kind of base64 encoding, but I don't get what they're encoding.
My PFX files are protected with a password (Although I tried to create a PFX without the password, and the base64 version of it differs from the .mobileconfig from iPCU version of it).
I already saw Alginald99 tip in: https://discussions.apple.com/message/15080631
That tip didn't work for me. When I convert my PFX file to base64, the encoded string is nothing like the string in the .mobileconfig I created by iPCU.
Alginald99 - If you're still hang here - please help!
Thanks,
Bar.
Yes, the key container GUID and the cert container GUID are different. That's normal.
You can reproduce this:
Delete the cert in windows mmc/certificate console, reimport the same cert in mmc/certificate and import this cert in iPCU. You can see the difference in mobileconfig.
Catch only the cert part from mobileconfig and dump it with <certutil.exe -v user.enc>. You see different container GUIDs.
I hope this helps.

How to convert cXML dtd files into xsd format and use them into BPEL application
Hi,
In my BPEL application I have to use cXML dtd files by converting them into xsd format.
I have used 'Microsoft Visual Studio' for converting cXML.dtd file into xsd format, for this 1 dtd file I am getting three xsd files (cXML.xsd, cXML1.xsd and cXML2.xsd).
Please check this once and let me know
1. why I am getting three xsd files for one dtd file,
2. how can I use cXML.xsd file in my application, do I ll have to use all the three files in my BPEL app and
3. what should I include in main xsd file (cXML.xsd) to import other two xsd files.
kindly check this once and let me know your suggestions .
ThanksHi,
While downloading the cXML dtd there will be example xml files. Using this xml's we can generate xsd.

Is it possible to do this?
So i see there's a convert pdf online.
Is it possible to use this whith a web service?
The final file (RTF or doc) must be analyse into an application
Best regardsLook at the doc.saveAs JavaScript method: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.524.html
You can save to other formats when you include the corresponding cConvID parameter. It can be used in a batch sequence, but you'll need the Pro version for that. -
How to convert a PDF file into a full editable WORD file?
Hi,
I tried to convert a pdf file into word but it is not fully editable. I can edit the title from the main page and that's it. The rest of the word document is saved as image. I tried editing teh pdf file but that one is not working either.
Please help on how to convert a PDF file into a full editable WORD file.
Thank youNot all PDF files are created equal. When a PDF file is created with Adobe Tools it is usually "tagged" with information about the fonts the images, the layout etc... This way when the PDF is saved to a new format like PPT or DOC then the results are usually usable. However, if you have a PDF file that was not tagged for some reason then run the Accessibility tools on the PDF to acquire some basic tagging. This may get you a better result. Also if you have a PDF that is an image, then you may want to run OCR on it.

How to convert a .alsx file into pdf
How to convert a .alsx file into pdf
Iam facing this problem since many days please resolve it
http://www.roothow.com
Thankls in adavance>But, from the windows explorer, if i do a right clic on the word document, with the context menu, i can directly convert to PDF
This is equivalent to using the PDFMaker facility in Word - that is,
the Acrobat button. Which is also the same thing that is done when you
use File > Create PDF > From File in Acrobat.
What it does is print to a PS file *and* do a lot of additional
processing to write stuff about links, tags etc. into the PS file.
>(no tmp PS file is used, cause the links are still working).
This isn't true, but it's certainly the case that you won't get links.
There seems to be no API, via any mechanism, still less the "obsolete"
(Microsoft's view) command line, to use PDFMaker from your program.

How to convert a HTML files into a text file using Java
Hi guys...!
I was wondering if there is a way to convert a HTML file into a text file using java programing language. Likewise I would also like to know if there is a way to convert any type of file (excel, power point, and word) into text using java.
By the way, I really appreciated the help that you guys gave me on my previous topic on how to extract tests from a pdf file.
Thank you....HTML files are already text files. What do you mean you want to convert them?
I think if you search the web, you can find things for converting those MS Office files to text (or extracting text from them, as I assume you mean). -

The XML you gave is a configuration file for txt2xml utility. It doesn't represent the output format.

How to convert Oracle *.dmp files into something that SQL can read ?
Is there a method I can use to convert Oracle *.dmp files into .txt files? .xls files or something??
Any and all suggestions appreciated!
Thanks,Hi
you can't convert your .dmp file into text or xls file though you can see the contents of your .dmp file using parameter SHOW=Y in your import command. It will just show the contents of .dmp file and will not import the objects.

Ilyas

How to convert a .flv file into a Youtube sharing .mov file via Compressor?
I'm trying to convert a .flv file into a Youtube sharing .mov file via Compressor but every time I submit it, it fails due to error code -50. It worked two hours ago (albeit, very slowly) with another .flv file but now it refuses to even try. Please help!
Sorry you're having problems, but it's not surprising. The error code is invalid media.
The easy way is to forget about Compressor and upload the Flash file directly to You Tube with their uploader.
You'll also save a generation of compression loss.
Good luck.

QT Pro does not "do" multiplexed compression formats. For that you would need an external, third-party, MPEG-based application. iDVD, Toast, Visual Hub, iVCD, MPEG2 Works, etc. would work here to create some of these formats. QT Pro, MPEG Streamclip, and GarageBand can all create DivX and/or XviD files if you have the appropriate QT components installed. (Not sure if you can still find DivX 3 but assume free download of DivX 5.1.1, 5.2.1, and/or Xvid are still readily available on the internet.)
