How to convert a spot colour to a spot colour.

I'm curious to know how do i go about converting a spot colour to a spot colour e.g. pms 188 to pms 281?
so therefore it changes from 2 colours to 1 colour, I'm using Acrobat x Professional on MAC, I dont have any other software of adobe's just this.
Can someone please suggest any quick ways i can do this without the possible need for plugins or extensions, if there is a plugin or extension that can do this please can you list them.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Seriously? Why bother writing a reply and not just telling him how to do it? This is another form of “It depends.”
Here's how to do it:
• Go to the Tone Curve and make sure that the curve is flat (linear).
• Drag the bottom left point of the curve to the top left. (Hold down the Shift key to make dragging easier.)
• Drag the top right point of the curve to the bottom right.
Done.
Side effect: After doing this, adjustments such as Exposure will have the opposite effect of what you expect.

How to correctly use spot colours in Photoshop?

Using CS2, I've created one of those swooshy Macintosh Panther wallpaper images, with various layers of sweeping lines and tinted gradient arcs.
Now I want to create the image using just tints of pantone 519 but I'm unsure of how to work with pantone colours in photoshop. I've pulled up the solid coated pantone library and located the swatch, but how do I specify various tints of this colour?
I've searched the forum and come across spot channels, and have read the photoshop help entry on this, but still can't understand how to do it. From what I've read, I make a selection, then create a spot channel of the colour and set the solidity to 100%. If I want an 80% tint, I just adjust the solidity to 80%. Is this correct, or is the solidity more like transparency than tint?
In addition, how do I create a gradient between these two colours?
Final question - I have an element I want to import from Illustrator that uses the same spot colour. Do I have to deal with this any differently to the normal copy and paste as a smart object?

Why not just mode grayscale (or better yet a black and white adjustment layer, then mode grayscale), adjust levels, new spot channel, move dot from gray channel to spot channel? If it was made in RGB 519, your green channel is probably best to make the move to grayscale. If you're working in CMYK, then the magenta channel (unless of course you're using pictures with UCR/GCR).
 
 I guess I don't understand how you can say "I'll set it up best in CMYK" but can't get it to one color.
 
 Here's the tut version using the green channel only. If you do some channel mixing, I'm sure you could get something a little nicer.

How to convert a PDF's Process Black to spot color

We have been asked to build InDesign templates for a two-PMS-color math book. The design calls for two PMS colors: a dark blue for most text and red highlights.
Because our Math plug-in doesn't work easily with PMS colors (it defaults to Process black), we hope to create all the “blue” text in Process Black. The press PDFs will have two inks: Process Black and PMS red. On press they will print the black plate in our blue PMS color.
This plan works on press, but for non-press use, we also want the PDFs to visually match the blue and red printed book. Ideally we would convert the Black Process ink to a blue spot but I'm not sure if this can be done.
Question 1: Does anyone know of a way to convert Process Black in a PDF to a spot color? Pitstop can convert spot to process, but we want the reverse.
Question 2 (which I may also post in the InDesign forum) Do you know of a way to redefine (or alias?) the indesign black swatch so that it functions as a spot color?

1 - yes, you can do this with Preflight in Acrobat Pro, but it's not on the default set of fixups.
Open Preflight, select "Single fixups" - the wrench icon
Options > Create New Preflight Fixup
Give it a name (e.g. "process black to spot")
Choose the Color category in the upper right
Choose 'Convert to spot color' in the upper left
Define the source parameters in the main panel (in your case, CMYK%, 0-0-0-100 with tolerance 0)
Define the spot color to change this color into, and the alternative space for rendering (i.e. your blue color)
If you wish, add a check to limit the conversion to certain things (e.g. text, vectors, etc.)
Click OK to save the fixup, then click FIX to apply it. To verify the result, use the Output Preview dialog in Acrobat.

The Lab values for this colour are 39 -18 -52. If you're using the appropriate CMYK profile for your printing conditions, you could make a new Process Colour swatch using those Lab values, and it will automatically convert to CMYK.

Ah, just spotted it's a delete statement - you won't be able to do it using subquery factoring in Oracle.
I had a go at trying to convert for you, but notice that you reference the cte from inside the cte... I can only assume you have a table called cte too...

But I don't really understand how to convert the class file.
May I know what is this for?

You should find another extranal system id in order to mantain uniqueness, but you could also use the name field (that supports 50 characters), but it deppends of which entity you are using.
Which is the entity? and...if the only way to insert data is by web services the you could use more than one field to verify uniqueness since you can query more than one field at the time.

Does anyone know how to convert a Web app into a channel inside the Portal server 6.0?
I developed the web app and tried to create a provider and a channel for it, but the Portal server did not recognize the WEB-INF folder and give me errors saying that it couldn't locate the class files.
I also have a problem with URL inside my jsp page (channel).
For example, I have two jsp pages:
/etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop/default/MyCustomProvider/test1.jsp
/etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop/default/MyCustomProvider/test2.jsp
and when I try to put a link from test1.jsp to test2.jsp using
... and make a channel based on test1.jsp. The channel will display the link as "http://mydomain/portal/test2.jsp" and result in "Error: page not found". I want the link to point to
/etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop/default/MyCustomProvider/test2.jsp
To summarize my questions,
1) Where should the web app be located in the Portal server?
2) How to make a link inside one jsp page (channel) to point to another page inside the same folder?

The portal server keeps reporting "Server Error..." when I tried to add query at the end of the href.

Don't use SSIS to convert. Use SSIS to FTP the files out.
How you convert to PDF: the format is owned by Adobe so there might be royalties involved, but there are paid and free (OSS) libraries to doing so. Just search online.

Very Urgent--- How to Convert Non Valuated stk into Valuated

Actually for a material A when i see the stock in MM03 in accounting tab i see less stock then when i see in MMBE
i.e in MMBE if i select Material A and Plant B(Which is depo in my case) i see stock as 39
but for same material MAterial A and Plant B ,if i see in MM03 --in accounting tab i m able to see less stock i.e only 1

Well the problem is In MM03 I cud see only valuated stk i.e qty as 1
And in MMBE for a partiocular material for a particular plant the stock was 39
i.e Here i am getting Valuated + Non valuated stock
i.e i am getting difference of 25

To get into the root cause
I have gone to MB5B where i can get all the transaction that has been done on this material with movement type also i got the intial stock ,Goods recpt ,Goods issu and total stock
No for a particular material
In MB5B it is showing
Stock on 01.01.2005    = 38
receipts total               = 238
Issues total                  =237
Stock as on 18.02.2008 = 39(which is equal to Stock in MMBE)
=============>This is for valuated +Non valuated stock
Where as if i want to see only valuated stock it was showing
receipts total      = 238
Issues total         =237
Stock as on 18.02.2008 =1 (which is equal to stock in acctg view in MM03)
====================>This is only for Valuated Stock

Now how to solve this :
The initial qty(38) which has been posted it was at the begining that is at the start of the project
And the people who have posted it ,it was non valuated
that is the reason it is showing difference in MM03 and MMBE

How can i see on which date this initial stock has been posted
Second Query
How to convert this non valuated stock into Valuated stock
So that the quantity in MMBE and MM03 gets matched

Actuallly i have checked the history of that particular Item in MB51
I have gone through all the documents created for this material
Now this material also exist in DEPO which is located at chennai and plant is at mumbai
So Initially in the year-2006(31-10-2006) whater documents are created i.e STOP has been created and delivery has been made (Mov type-601)
are non valuated stock ,means they have been posted without any valuation
But from year 2007(01.02.2007) the documents whiohc have been posted are valuated
i.e is the reason when i am executing transaction MRN9 to check the history of valuated stock
I cant see non valuated stock
Well now how to do the valuation of this stock which have been posted in year 2006 so that
In MMBE and MM03 there is no difference of stock

Sorry for the interruption.I am also facing the same problem.I am using DEJDecompiler.But my application is not J2ME But J2EE.( a Swing application).I opened .class file and made some changes but I dont know how to convert into a .class file again.
I tried saving .jad file to .java file.Then it is showing lot of errors in Eclipse Platform.I doubt if there are any errors in the .class file already,then how could the program would run.I put all the programs in the respective platforms only and then testing.It fails.
(2) one more question,is if I do not need to disturb any existing coding and need to create a seperate java file which will do my customisation,then what should I do.I could not get any interfaces in the program.
Please help me as the matter is most urgent.

Although i have seen a few programs (that are platform specific) that will embed a small jvm into an exe with your class file, it is generally excepted that you cannot create an executable file using java. The JAR executable file is probably the closest your going to get
