Down Payment in electronic account statement

Hello experts,
I have to involve down payment in electronic account statement.
We use the electronic account statement to book and balance automaticaly incoming payment from debitors.
But down payment requests from debitors (booked as noted items, special G/L indicator 'F' with transaction F-37 or VF01) aren't identified and automaticaly booked out.
However the noted items (special G/L indicator 'F') should be balanced and booked as down payment received (special G/L indicator 'A').
That isn't working.
In customizing is in line from posting rule already an F for special G/L indicator.
But it don't work for testing.
In addition I implemented the user-exit FEB00001 (EXIT_RFEBBU10_001).
So that I can define in this user-exit which posting rule should sap use, if it's a special G/L or not.
But it's very difficult to program because break-points don't really work in this user-exit.

For each transaction code (MT940-BTC) you specify the corresponding interpretation algorithm.
For Orbian business processes this is almost always algorithm 015, as this enables the subsequent clearing on the interim accounts (per assignment number and SAPF124). The following business processes are exceptions to this:
Discounting an OC (No. 3 in the table)
Receipt (incoming payment) of an OC (No. 6 in the table)
For these you can use algorithm 001, for example.

Upload Electronic Account Statement (FF.5)

I have the following problem. Today I uploaded the Electronic Account Statement from yesterday and - my mistake - only a part of the Electronic Account Statement from today. Now I have the problem, to
upload the second part of the Electronic Account Statement from today. FF.5 accept only once each number of the Electronic Account Statement and day.
I hope, someone can tell me, what I can do now. Thanks.

An idea - the transaction FBRA is new for me!
But I will do now the following. I will manipulate the UMSATZ.TXT and AUSZUG.TXT from tomorow - I insert the missing position from today in the files for tomorow - change the bank statement numbers in this positions and update the AUSZUG.TXT. So I think, it will go.
But now a question to your comment: "Now we have a variant that stops the users posting immediately!". Can you tell me, what you have done. Thanks again.

System accounting sa command error converting user accounting stats

after enabling system accounting (underlying BSD os features) with "sudo accton /var/account/acct", daily attempts to summarize and rotate data into /var/account/savacct and ...usracct fails. these files were created by /usr/sbin/sa, and later runs of /usr/sbin/sa -s -q fail with an error
"sa: converting user accounting stats: Inappropriate file type or format"
"sa: user accounting initialization failed"
is there some bug being tracked with /usr/sbin/sa or do I need to file one?

Above indeed works; file /var/account/acct begins accumulating stats and running 'sa' command shows them.
The problem is when running 'sa -s -q' daily to roll the individual records into summary count files /var/account/{sav,usr}acct; the first time creates those files and empties the .../acct file but the second and following times fail with the error lines:
sa: converting user accounting stats: Inappropriate file type or format
sa: user accounting initialization failed
After above setup steps you sent, try this:
sudo -s
/usr/sbin/sa -s -q
# observe that the files /var/account/{sav,usr}acct are newly created; now wait a bit and:
/usr/sbin/sa -s -q
# observe failure (at least, that's what I get)

So it seems from reading the COMMAND manual that my first issue is that I used a 16GB SD card, and the manual says it will only recogize up to a 2GB SD card. I did use my MB Air's SD card slot and crated a folder and dragged the music files to it, then to the card. So I am going to get a 2GB card and try that next. Otherwise just stick with the iPOD connected. At least that is 8GB

In which format is your data in the internal table currently. Is it returned by a smartform/script or its just data fetched from some database table into an internal table. Since its obvious that the data should appear in the PDF with some Layout, you should be using smartform to format the data properly. See the Link

How to convert update,delete statement into select stmt

Hi all,
     I have a field called dml_stmt, i am getting the dml statement has input from the user.
     My requirement is, if user is giving "update set col_name = 'xyz' from table_name where codition = 'aa'", before updating the table, i need to get old values from the table and put it in the audit table
     For that,i need to convert those update statement into select stmt and need to execute the query to get the data and then i will put it in the audit table..
     can anyone guide how to convert the update or delete stmt into select(need to write in pl/sql)

Maybe I'm missing something, but why would auditing help here? It sounds like the user wants to know the prior values of the data, not the SQL UPDATE statement that was issued. Auditing would tell you that a table was updated, fine-grained auditing would tell you what the UPDATE statement was, but you'd need something else to capture the state of the data prior to the update.
Depending on why putting triggers on every table was discounted, you may also want to take a look at using Workspace Manager or Total Recall (in 11g) to track a history of data changes. But triggers would be the common solution to this sort of problem.

Electronic Bank Statement BAI file format

Hi,
I am trying to upload electronic bank statement with BAI file format. When I select the file and executed in FF_5, it is not giving any error. Nothing is happening. The same file I have used I was able to upload it. I am searching where it went. I have maintained complete configuration.
Then I have prepared a simple file on my own in text format, that simple file is working fine and able to upload.
Can somebody have any idea why it might have gone wrong?

all the file lines are filled with " in the beginning and at the end. Then I replace all those " values and I am able to upload the file. I am not sure how these " values are placed in the file.

I need to read the file from database.
Now I can use jdbc to read the particular column value which contains the file in binary format.
But tricky part is how to convert the binary file entry in a proper respective file format? So I have another column which basically has the value to tell the type of file. So I have ".doc" or ".pdf" as each entry of file...
So please help me how can we do this using Java?

In my BPEL application I have to use cXML dtd files by converting them into xsd format.
I have used 'Microsoft Visual Studio' for converting cXML.dtd file into xsd format, for this 1 dtd file I am getting three xsd files (cXML.xsd, cXML1.xsd and cXML2.xsd).
Please check this once and let me know
1. why I am getting three xsd files for one dtd file,
2. how can I use cXML.xsd file in my application, do I ll have to use all the three files in my BPEL app and
3. what should I include in main xsd file (cXML.xsd) to import other two xsd files.

I have alot of videos that are in DIVX and AVi format that itunes and my ipod will not accept. So how the heck do I convert them into an ipod friendly format?
