How to convert files

i just dragged and dropped a home movie tat i had saved from dvd to my mac and i was wondering how to convert the files to bring them into imovie (they are currently .BUP .IFO .VOB)
what do i do to convert??

you will need a free program called MPEG Streamclip and a $20 program available online through the Apple Store called Apple Quicktime MPEG2 Playback Component. After you have installed both programs, you can open MPEG Streamclip, and drag the VOB files into the workspace of MPEG Streamclip. If it offers to fix timecode breaks, say yes. You should be able to play it and see what it looks like. You can export it from MPEG Stramclip into a format that is editable by iMovie. I would recommend QuickTime/AIC as the highest quality, but DV will also work. You may also want to deinterlace in this step. You can experiment with deinterlaced or interlaced and see which looks better, but for most MPEG2 source, I would deinterlace.
Now open iMovie and do a File/Import.

I tried to give an answer with less steps. I know it's a Pages file & all you have to do is select & copy the content in your Pages file & then open Preview.app. Next time I'll include the exporting to PDF & opening that in Preview.app or in Pages go to File > Print > click on the PDF button in the lower left of the print window & choose Open in Preview.

you can send a file as an exel attachment in mail,
step 1:
   send file data to an internal table.
step 2:
   loop through the internal table(itab).
    concatinate itab-field1
                      abap_char_utilities=>horizontal tab
                     itab-field2
                     abap_char_utilities=>horizontal tab
                    abap_char_utilities=>vertical tab
        into t_attachment-line
append t_attachment
step 3:
Fill the document data and get size of attachment
CLEAR w_doc_data.
READ TABLE it_attach INDEX w_cnt.

check the FM and creat the internal table types
by this way you can send excel as an attachment
but problem in sending EXCEL attachment is if the data crosses the limit of excle file the file will not open.

ITunes 8 (OSX 10.4.11) how to convert files.

In iTunes 8, how do I convert my AIFF files to another format? Following the iTunes help doesn't work. It says open Prefs, then Advanced and then importing. Seems no importing tab appears in my vs of the Prefs Advanced window.

In the main iTunes window, in list view, highlight a tune and click Advanced in the menu bar. From the drop-down list, select 'Create MP3 version' and it performs the conversion, resulting in a file of the same name but w/ an .MP3 extension instead of .AIF.
Another method:
When the 'pod is connected, in the Settings Pane, check the box next to 'Convert higher bit rates to 128 Kbps AAC' and this will perform the conversions as the files are loaded onto the Pod. Note that this will make the loading process take longer, but you'll save a huge amount of space and you won't have two copies (AIF and MP3) of each music file.

just to mention that:
DVD uses a plyback-format, end-of-the-road, delivery standard.. not meant for further processing.. you will recognize a (dramatic) loss in pic quality..

Is that impossible if we can use process() function with bfile datatype? similar like:

The line above is work with blob datatype but doesn't with bfile datatype. Can you please give me some idea how to deal with it.

a BFILE is content stored outside the Oracle database. It is a read-only object.
process() is an in-place modification of the image. This is only possible with BLOB stored content.
If you are using BFILE you could use the processCopy() method to create a new copy of the BFILE stored image that has been processed according to your command.

Format the external drive as FAT32 or ExFAT. Both computers will then be able to read and write to it.

I tried saving .jad file to .java file.Then it is showing lot of errors in Eclipse Platform.I doubt if there are any errors in the .class file already,then how could the program would run.I put all the programs in the respective platforms only and then testing.It fails.
(2) one more question,is if I do not need to disturb any existing coding and need to create a seperate java file which will do my customisation,then what should I do.I could not get any interfaces in the program.
Please help me as the matter is most urgent.
