How to convert .psd in .pdf

Hi everyone,
We have do our catalog in more psd files and wanted to convert it in pdf files.
It's very easy to do and we can join the different pdf to one global but the problem is the end size, more than 100Mb.
We have seen online some pdf catalog with 55 pages and just 6Mb size, with good resolution.... our has just 40 pages more but 90 Mb more and not a top resolution, not so cool for our customers.
Can someone help me to convert it for good resolution and not heavy Mb ?

I think you will find many catalogs that you are referring to are not simple graphics, but a file from a layout tool with the necessary graphics embedded at a reasonable resolution. You may be asking for a lot from full page graphics.

AcrobatX1 Trial How to Convert part of PDF to Excel

I was trying to convert part of a PDF to Excel sheet so I downloaded Acrobat x1,but found out to my wasted time that the trial version will not do so! I contacted Microsoft support & spoke to a lady and she tried to help but assured me that it will not do this.

If you only want to convert certain pages, use Extract Pages to make a new document containing only the pages you want. Then Save As Excel. Don't expect miracles, Acrobat has to use guesswork to estimate where your grid is.

You can't. If you split the file into pages it will remain in the same layout the original has. PDF files were not meant to be edited in the way you're describing.

Your question has been answered? It is interesting that you would come to the Acrobat forum to ask about GhostScript. However, as you have seen, both Distiller (part of Acrobat) and GhostScript can do the conversion.

Check this document: Convert SAPScript to PDF file and instead of using gui_download/cl_gui* as mentioned in that doc, use CL_WD_RUNTIME_SERVICES=>ATTACH_FILE_TO_RESPONSE to open the PDF in WDA. You can refer that in this doc: Opening a Smartform in Web Dynpro ABAP

Adobe Printer Not Converting psd to pdf

I have a Photoshop CS4 Extended user who is attempting to print a psd file to her Adobe pdf printer using the following page set up settings:
Adobe PDF page size 22"x34",
print quality set to 4000dpi,
Truetype as "download as softfont".
The user gets as far as selecting the page setup settings in the print dialoge box and clicking okay to print but the "save as file location" dialoge never appears. However, she is able to save/print/convert from psd to pdf with the same settings except for the page size being 11x17.
User stated that this is a common work flow for her but started running into trouble late last week.
Troubleshooting Steps
All Adobe PS updates applied
Windows OS updates applied
Installed Adobe PDF Converter printer on a local port - With this printer, the file goes through all the usual steps and is able to execute the file conversion process even showing the progress bar but the file never appears in the selected location. Further troubleshooting steps included changing the save file to location settings from Adobe Prompt to a folder on the desktop but result was the same.

It has EVERYTHING to do with the pixel dimensions of the image, so-many-pixels wide by so-many-pixels high.
The limit, already outlined by Mylenium, is 60,000 pixels in either of the two dimensions.
What he was suggesting—obviously—is to RESAMPLE the image. With the "Resample" box checked [ √ ], set the ppi to 300 ppi or less, and save that as a copy. That copy will print.
Changing the ppi alone without resampling the image is, of course, sheer nonsense.

That's 100 meters by 100 meters, or some 110 yards by 110 yards.
For a page size of 22"x34", you don't need more than 200 ppi, maybe less; but 300 ppi is doable.

Use function module 'SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY' to convert from XString to a Binary table. Just like this:

To send the email in an OO way you should user class CA_SEND_REQUEST_BCS. Take a look to program BCS_EXAMPLE_6 or any of the test programs in package SBCOMS.

How to convert .psd to acrobat .pdf?

when i open acrobat and try to open a .psd doc i get a dialog box that says...
Acrobat could not open '!!15ireland.1.psd' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then choose Save as Adobe PDF from the PDF dropdown in the Print dialog.
as directed, i open the file in photoshop…save as…and the only .pdf option in the print dialog is "photoshop pdf"…no "adobe .pdf" available.

No, that's not what is directed. You open the file in Photoshop but do NOT use save as. You use the PDF dropdown in the Print dialog. The Print dialog appears when you choose PRINT, not SAVE. This is the normal way of making a PDF in any Mac app, but not as good as Save as in Photoshop. So stick with Save As in Photoshop, but I think it's important for you to know the normal way of making a PDF. Only a few file types can be opened for conversion within Acrobat.
