How to copy and paste text in message body?

Hi,
my question is how I can copy and paste text within a text in an email message (that is shifting phrases and passages around) without using the cumbersome "Edit". If there's a way, does it also work for texts in Pages? Please, let me know. Thanks!

Hi Len,
actually I thought about highlighting a word, phrase, or passage, holding it with the mouse, and then shifting it around within the text to the desired place, just as I used to do when I owned a PC. Does this work with Mac as well?

Hi DG.
The easiest way to copy an HP Photo Creations project to another computer is to click the Share button. That will upload the project to the Web and give you a link you can paste into an email. Clicking the link on the other computer allows you to download the project and personalize it. This quick video shows the process. (The screen looks slightly different now, but the concept is the same.)
Another way to share a project is copy the project folder to a thumb drive. Look in Documents/HP Photo Creations/My Things to find your saved projects.

How to copy and paste text from a web site viewed in Chrome using the Xperia z3v?

I have searched high and low for a way to copy and paste text from a web site in Chrome using the Xperia z3v. I've tried a long tap, a double tap, a triple tap - nothing works. I am able to select text, copy and paste it in a Word doc, however. There must be some way to do this on a web site in Chrome. I'm certain I am not trying to select text that is really an image. How to copy and paste text into email without HTML gibberish

I've had trouble for some time now copying and pasting text into and out of yahoo emails. I can't just copy and paste text, I have to first transfer to Word for Mac and then paste into a yahoo email. Then I end up with what looks like three lines of HTML gibberish at the start of the pasted text each time. Isn't there a clean and direct way of copy and paste of text into and from emails in yahoo? No other email I work with has this problem, and the Safari browser doesn't give this same issue

I have to agree with bmalmquist. Need for Speed seems to work great on the Playbook. I didn't buy the Playbook to play games though. RIM needs to shift their focus from games to useful and productive apps. The apps I need to use are either missing very important features, or are just completely missing. It is somewhat disconcerting to see new apps appear in App World only to discover that the new apps are mostly games. I'm seeing lots of apps that would help me waste time, but very few that will actually help me be more productive.

As a previous Pinnacle Studio user, I intuitively would assume that you could select your text label and Copy / Paste it to a new position. iMovie 08 has the ability to Copy and Paste text.
However, you cannot copy and paste the entire Title overlay. You are constrained to the pre-set Titles. Once you have selected a Title style, (let's say Lower Third), you can change the font and color. Then highlight the text and copy. You can put another lower third title elsewhere in the project and Paste the original text with font and color changes that you copied earlier.

would like to copy and paste selected text from websites while in safari to my ipages.

Quickly double tap on the screen that you want to copy. When you see the blue area pop up drag the edges of the blue block to the portion you want to copy. Tap copy.
Next open something like "Notes".
Open new document.
Double tap and a "paste" option will pop up.
Click paste and your selection will appear.
You can then edit, save, etc.

How to NOT retain formatting when copying and pasting text

Captivate 7 keeps the formatting from my text sources when I paste into a Text Caption which is not what I need. Anything I could find in the forums where questions relating to "keeping" the source formatting. I don't want this, I want Captivate to keep its text formatting when I paste text into a text caption. I even did a test creating a new project and using one of the Cap 7 themes. If I paste text in the default capture caption style object, it retains the formatting of the copied text source. I have been working with Captivate 7 since a few months now and, until this morning, when I copied and pasted text from another source into my Captivate Text Caption, it retained the format of my Captivate Text Caption object. This is exactly what I need. How can I get this behavior back?

Well, first I would report it as undesired behavior and possibly ask for an enhancement that allows us to right-click and paste without formatting. Do this using the link below:

For now, you have a couple of options.
1. Perform a side trip. Open a text editor such as Windows Notepad or Apple Textpad and paste, then copy back to the clipboard. Then paste the text into the caption. (When pasting into the text editor, formatting is stripped)
2. On Windows machines, you can usually find a clipboard utility that allows you to paste as pure text. In fact, one such application is called PureText.

They don't have Russian fonts, so I have to type the text in Russian in Notes in my iPad, send it to my e-mail box, and then open the e-mail box in Mac, and copy and paste the text into the book template of Blurbs. I don't know how to make a Russian keyboard in Mac to be able to type quickly. I asked about it in the Apple store, and they showed me how to find a Russian keyboard in the net, but it takes much time to type using a screen keyboard, and the texts also cannot be copied and pasted, when they are in Russian. They are erased when I press 'command+C", and all I have is a single letter 'c' instead. No problems with texts in English. Maybe Russian is not supported for copying and pasting?:(

I am trying to copy and past text from a website and it will not even let me select it. I am very familiar with how to do this, and it worked yesterday on the same page in safari. Please advise if anyone knows how to fix this.
