How to copy contents of hardrive to new hardrive on Tecra 9100?

I've just recieved my new hardrive and need to copy the contents of the old one to the new one. The new hardrive came with no extra software. I have Norton Ghost, so naturally I went to the Copy Hardrive tool only to find it lists my current hardrive to copy to. How can I copy the contents if I need to install the hardrive? I mean surely it'll not do anything if I just put the new hardrive in?

regarding your harddisk and the size, thats easy, just do the following steps:
Go into "Control Panel" -> "Administrative Tools" -> "Computer Managment" -> "Disk Managment" and then activate the unformatted partition by making a right-click on the "Unallocated" part and click on "New Partition". The rest is easy to perform.
And regarding the USB-Caddy: they are not expensive, you can get on in every electronic market for 10$, so it shouldnt be a big deal. :)

It is a wrong Table Design. You are duplicating the data in table and not complying with the Database Normalization rules.
How about Verifying if Column A & B are NULL before inserting and inserting another row and avoiding it in Triggers?
If you are bent to achieve this, below code might be helpful. However, I would never go with this approach. If you would care about explaining the reason for going ahead with such a data model, people could suggest better alternative that might conform with Normalization rules.

I suggest you simply copy your entire User folder from old computer to new computer. This way all your data (Music, photos, contacts, emails, calendars, documents, etc.) goes across.

you do not have to copy the extractor, you can enhance it with fields and fill them via enhancement coding --> rsa6.
If you want to copy it, you need to check what kind of extractor you have. Is it a function module or just a table extractor.
for fm: copy the function module via se37 and copy the extract structure via se11. Add your enhancements in the copied structures and coding. Create a new datasource with rso2.
for table extractor: create a view adding the additionally needed fields. create a new ds with rso2. Surely you need to add some coding in the relevant enhancement.

I want to copy contents of 1 ASA 5510 to another 5510.
Both ASA has same license.
-I tried to connect to 2nd ASA via console cable
-Went to "Conf t" and copied config of 1st ASA. [ using paste tab from Hyper Terminal ]
- used commands like copy running config disk0:/startup.config.cfg
- also used write memory all , wr mem commands
- But after reboot config was gone.
As of now I have ASA 8.3.x version in both ASA's.
How can I save config to 2nd ASA via Hyper Terminal?

so the user may change the Last_measured only and not to have to rewrite the Tank_no and the Lab_Denisty cause it doesn't change.

How to copy recorded live stream to new drive

I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to copy a recorded live stream to a new drive on the server? I can copy the file within the virtual app directory but not to another drive.
The only solution i found was to edit the application.xml:
<StreamManager>
        <StorageDir>e:\Sync\</StorageDir>
    </StreamManager>
But unfortunately i need to rename the file once its recorded, and i'm having a hard time accessing that drive/directory where the file is located.

What I understood from your query I am providing you a solution:
1. You can use the below to copy recorded live stream to new drive/directory in Application.xml

2. By default, a script can access files and directories only within the application directory of the hosting application. A server administrator can grant access to additional directories by specifying virtual directory mappings for File object paths. This is done in the FileObject tag in the Application.xml file, as shown in the following example:

</FileObject>
3. Create one application folder suppose test and then create main.asc file inside that which will have the below code

This server side application rename files but since the folder which we had to access was outside application directory of the hosting application we had to map it using step 2.

1.In SQ01 go to "EDIT->other user group" and i selected user group as /SAPQUERY/FK
2.I typed F1 in query field and click change button
3.I clicked next screen button and entered into "change query f1: select fields screen".here i clicked "basic list" button and searched company code checkbox and saved it as result company code is appearing in the standard report"AQZZ/SAPQUERY/FKF1============"
but unfortunately there is no region field(LFA1-REGIO) for this i think i should copy the existing query report into new query report(Ex:Z_LIST_OF_VEND) which should be 14 characters.please tell me briefly how to do this because this is first time i am using SQ00.
one more issue is when i selected "edit-otheruser group" and choosing /SAPQUERY/FK i am getting only infoset "/SAPQUERY/FIKD" but i should need Info set: "/SAPQUERY/FIDD" please tell me how to add the previous one into user group.i think if i got /SAPQUERY/FIDD into usergroup /SAPQUERY/FK i can add region also into Query report as i mentioned above by going SQ01 ...............................

I use a G4 QuickSilver 2002; run Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard. I would like to copy the contents of one old hard drive to the main hard drive. How do I do it? I tried using Disk Utility, but didn't know what to next once the Disk Utility folder appeared. Enclosed please find picture of DU. I'm trying to copy disk named Hard Disk to WD1200 Boot Drive.

Alll the Disk Utility can do is clone an entire drive. In the process the Destination drive is erased. Is that the result you want? If so do this:
Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility
1. Open Disk Utility in the Utilities folder.
2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag
it to the Destination entry field.
5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to
the Source entry field.
6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the external backup drive. Source means the internal startup drive.
If you want to copy files to the Destination without erasing the Destination, then you can do that using Drag and Drop. Select the files you wish to copy and drag them to the Destination drive. Note, that if the Destination is a boot drive, then be sure you only drag your files and data - no system files.

2. A new pernr,
    has to be hired in the system FIRST,
    via pa30/pa40 (hiring action),
3. ONLY THEN,
4. A new pernr is created in the sytem,
5. ONLY AFTER THAT,
   we can put other data realted to pernr in the system using pa30 or anything else.

How big is your database?
1)If database size is small, create a blank test db . Export from Production using expdp and impdp onto Test.
2)If database size is hundreds of gb's use rman duplicate command. As you are restoring on to same host
configure db_file_name_convert/log_file_name_convert in your pfile properly
And also control_files parameter to new location in your new pfile.

How to copy iPhoto library to my new Macbook?

I did a search and found some related topics that helped, but I wanted to make sure I got some more detail on this, as it seems to be a bit more complicated than I thought:
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro, and need to copy my iPhoto library from our iMac to the Pro. So, here's what I did, which apparently is not correct:
I have a backup of the iPhoto library on an external hard drive, where I simply copy the iPhoto Library folder periodically.
So, I simply connected my MacBook to that external, and selected the folders I wanted to import, and clicked on "Import to Library."
I believe what I ended up with is essentially all the thumbnails on the new library - all the images are there, but at a low resolution, and I don't seem to have the actual picture files anywhere.
From my research here, it sounds like I need to actually copy the iPhoto library from the iMac (or external hard drive) onto my MacBook, and then open them up with iPhoto.
First, is that correct?
And second, how do I delete the thumbnails that are already on my library, since I don't actually see any files? Under iPhoto library in my Finder, there is simply an iPhoto Library "icon."

Connect the External Hard Drive to your new computer, quit iPhoto, drag the iPhoto library from the pictures folder to the trash (empty it later after you are all done), drag the entire iPhoto library as a single entity from the EHD to the pictures folder on your new MacBook and launch iPhoto - it will find the iPhoto library you just put in the pictures folder, convert it if needed and you will have on the MB exactly what you had before on the iMac
