Hey, I'm wanting to copy just the tags of my library to a text file or something like that. Is there a program to do that?

File > Library > Export library.

Sometimes on the last iteration of a loop, I want to make a slight change in the notes, and therefore need to insert and actual copy. When I copy the original region and paste it, it overwrites everything that follows...deleting a whole bunch of arranging that I just did. Is there a command to copy only the original region? Otherwise I have to unloop the region, copy, insert, and reloop the region. Thanks

Either you have a lot of Pages breaks which you can delete or you have aded a Pages break which you also can delete. Turn on the invisible characters View > Show Invisibles. You will see blue characters.

There is a VI called "dsc_TagEditorLauncher.vi" under "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\project\lvdsc" folder that can be used to launch the TCE programmatically. I hope this helps.

Found a solution, but it's not ideal or what I was really requesting. However it will work for now.
Add the "Kind" column and sort by "ACC Purchased audio file" and you can get what you need.
I was really looking for a shell script to do this.... If anyone has a way of doing this let me know.

In short, you can't.
You can use the column alias as you're already doing to change the name of the "A3" part of "A3_ROW" but you cannot change the "_ROW" part of "A3_ROW". This is added automatically.
You can combine the results of XSU with an XSLT stylesheet (made very simple if you're using XSU by working with Oracle XSQL Pages) to change the name of any element or completely restructure the XML output into a target XML, HTML, or text format.

While recording from a cassette, I somehow lost most of the track from the first side of the cassette. I'd like to at least save the second side if possible. You haven't said what version of Pages you are using or what you have used to generate your footnotes.
You could try making them all Endnotes and then copying from the end of the document.
If that doesn't work, Export your .pages file to Word docx or .txt ands see what you can grab there.

When I do a 'list backup' I can see the tags assigned to each backup piece, when I do a 'list copy' it doesn't show the tag even though I create copies with tags. Any help would be much appreciated.

How do I make the tags highlight the whole words again in Mavericks?

Being a photographer/graphic designer, I used the labels function a lot with the previous iOS. Now that it's been converted to tags, the file names are no longer highlighted, there's just this tiny round dot next to it. It makes it visually difficult to me to see all the important files at first glance. I like the tags functionnality, I just wish I could choose the way it's being displayed. Can someone help?

In our environment we need to be able to print to PDF, but we also have a 3rd party formcreation software that needs Adobe 8 reader to capture digitized signagtures.
After testing we have found out that we need to have the PDF printer functionality of Writer 7, and the digitized signature capture ability from 8. Problem is that the 7 install (no matter ther order of installation) take priority over the 8 install and does not let us use 8 to sign the document.
the ideal fix is being able to install just the pdf printer from 7 Writer.
Network is a mixed batch of XP and 7 machines

Assuming column B contians numbers you can get the right-most digit like this:
C1=RIGHT(B2, 1)
this is shorthand for in cell C1 type (or copy and paste) the formula:
"=RIGHT(B2, 1)" without the double quotes
