Do this...
Select the iPhone in iTunes,
Click the Photos tab across top.
Tick Sync photos and select the albums or folders you want on the iPod.

Use Finder on your computer to locate your iPad when attached. Dig down through the folders (which will only contain photos and videos) to locate your photos. Can someone tell me step by step how to copy pictures from iphoto 08 to an sd card using a card reader?

hi, is there a way to have the SD card appear directly in iphoto in a way that allows you to drag and drop photos into it the same way you might do so with an album? I tried doing this with the default format of the SD card and it would show up but not let me view the contents or copy photos onto the SD card. They I tried using disk utility to reformat the SD card as a macOS Extended device and now it doesn't even show up in iPhoto. The main reason I'm trying to do this is so that my father will have an easy way to transfer photos from iPhoto to his digital photo frame using the SD card. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I created some new folders that are labeled - then are not sub folders under the Library.
What I do is --- while I'm in the Library, I click 1x on the picture, copy - then I click on the specific folder, paste. The picture does not appear in my folder.
Would someone tell me what I'm going wrong - how to copy pictures from my Library to specific folders ?
Also --- I do backup my Library to an external drive, when I eventually get pictures in specific folders in iPhoto --- I must now choose those specific folders to backup in addition to my Library ? I use the backup software from OS X 10.6.x to run my backup's to external disk.

This is not recommended -if you continue messing around inside the iPhoto library it is likely that you will change or move something and corrupt your library

Backup will backup exactly what you tell it to - only you know and have access to those settings

Hi. Please help. My daughter forgot her passcode to her iPod and the photos aren't backed up.
I need to copy the photos from the iPod to my laptop. I am able to do this with my iPhone 4s through windows explorer (even when the iPhone is disabled).
