How to copy sender ID?

I got commercial spam in iMessage. I forwarded the content of the spam to 7726 (SPAM) and immediately got a reply from my carrier (AT&T) asking me to send in the spammer's number. The spam's sender id (apparently an email address) is too long to fit on the iPhone screen so I can't see the whole thing. How can I either see the entire sender ID or copy it so I can complete my spam complaint?

I should have specified "iMessage spam" in my previous post.
Here's a relevant link if you are interested:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0350-text-message-spam
Here's an excerpt from that page:
If you are an AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint or Bell subscriber, you can report spam texts to your carrier by copying the original message and forwarding it to the number 7726 (SPAM), free of charge.

  • How to copy/send text file from FTPS to SAP ECC File Port

    Hi Frdns,
I am working on one design, actually my requirement as follows
I am receiving financial information document from Banks, which is in the form of BIA2 message format, it looks like text file. This information needs to be sending to SAP ECC system.
I identified some approaches to full fill the requirement
1)Using Conversion agent/or third party tools to convert BIA2 message in to XML, then using PI I will pick up the XML message, convert it in to IDoc.
2)Without any conversion I will copy the same file (original BIA2 message) in to SAP ECC file port, in this case no conversion required, calling some program I will schedule it.
I am looking forward t implement the second approach because it saves lot of money to my client.
Now I am wondering using File adapter can i copy to SAP ECC File Port or I required ABAP proxy?
What is the best approach to copy the BIA message text file from FTPS to SAP ECC File Port.??
    Regards,
    Raj

    Hi Raja,
    >>Now I am wondering using File adapter can i copy to SAP ECC File Port or I required ABAP proxy?
Yes you can do this copy, the only restriction that can happen is the file size.. If you are sure that the fiel will be of few MB at the max then you can use the Configuration part alone and copy it to ECC folder. For doing this you need the following:
    1. Sender agreement (mention the sender interface as anything XYZ)
    2. Sender communication channel. Pick the file in binary mode
    3. Receiver determination (keep both the sender and receiver service as same)
    4. Interface Detemiantion (dont specify any mapping and keep the receiver interface name as XYZ)
    5. Create receiver agreement (with same service and interface)
    6. Use file adapter here

I'd try Dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com/), which you and your recipient both have to have. It's easy, and the free version would probably be enough. There are any number of other services available for emailing large files (google that). Of course, your recipient must have KN installed to be able to view it correctly, or can view it in PP, but with some loss, primarily transitions/animations.

  • How can I send email from my yahoo alias account in iPhone5 mail?

How can I send email from my yahoo alias account in iPhone5 mail?
I have 2 email accounts: [email protected] is an alias of [email protected]
In my old iPhone3 I had these accounts set up so that I could send and receive email from both accounts. I did this using the following settings:
    ‘Other’ POP account info:
    Name: xyz
    Address: [email protected]
    Description: alias
    Incoming mail server:
    Host name: pop.mail.yahoo.com
    User name: [email protected]
    Password: password for yahoo account
    Server port: 995
    Outgoing mail server:
SMTP: smtp.o2.co.uk (o2 is the name of my phone network)
    Server port: 25
    ‘Yahoo!’ account info:
    Name: xyz
    Address: [email protected]
    Password: password for yahoo account
    Description: Yahoo!
    Outgoing mail server:
    Primary server: Yahoo! SMTP server
    Server port: 465
I’ve tried using the same settings in my new iPhone5, but it doesn’t work. I can receive mail to both accounts, and can send from the Yahoo account, but I cannot send mail from the alias account. When I try, it displays the message: “Cannot send mail. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient ‘[email protected]’ was rejected by the server”.
I’ve tried to configure the POP alias account using combinations of ‘pop.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk’, ‘apple.pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ and ‘apple.pop.mail.yahoo.com’, for the incoming host, and ‘smtp.o2.co.uk’, ‘smtp.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk’, ‘apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com’ and ‘apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ for the outgoing mail server. None of these have worked.
I’ve also tried setting it up using IMAP instead of POP without success. I tried configuring it using combinations of ‘imap.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘imap.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ and ‘apple.imap.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ for the incoming mail server and ‘smtp.o2.co.uk’, ‘smtp.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk’, ‘apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com’ and ‘apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ for the outgoing mail server.
Yahoo say that if I can't send Yahoo! Mail from my mail program, I may be accessing the Internet through an ISP that is blocking the SMTP port, and that if this is the case, I should try setting the SMTP port number to 587 when sending email via Yahoo!'s SMTP server. I don't think that this is the problem, but I tried it just to make sure - without success.
I’ve also heard that the problem might have something to do with the SPF settings of my alias domain provider. I’m not too sure exactly what SPF settings are, or how to change them, but from what I can gather it seems unlikely that this is the problem given that I was able to send mail from my alias account on my old iPhone3.
Any help much appreciated: how can I get my alias account to send emails in iPhone5 mail?
    Many thanks,
    Patrick

A new development: I've tried sending emails from the alias several times over the past 24 hours, but in general I've deleted them if they haven't sent within about half an hour.
However, one of the messages I left sitting in the outbox did send successfully in the end, but this took about an hour.
So: perhaps my problem is not in fact that I am completely unable to send mail from my alias, but that I can only do so intermittently and extremely slowly, and by ignoring the "cannot send" message.
    Any help appreciated.

  • How can i send my in-app purchases to apple?

I cant copy and paste it! So how do i save it and send it to apple??? I need to get that refund thing becasue my kids bought A LOT of in-app purchases. I tried saving it as a pdf but it saved as blank white pages. I cant print it either? How can i send them to apple. My last resort is having to write them in by hand. Is there anything eaiser? I need this by tomorrow because thats the last day to send it.

Unless you have the emailed receipts for the purchases (you should be able to do copy-and-paste from them) then I think that you will need to type them in - I don't think that you can do copy-and-paste from the purchase history on iTunes (it doesn't work on mine).

  • How can I send/share a proof of a publication with someone else?

Working with iBooks Author, I merely wish to share a test publication internally within my company as a proof. Some of them are remote (not on site). All have iPads.
The publication is NOT ready for publication, it is in its most preliminary stage. How can I send them a copy of the publication so I can get their feedback? Either I am missing something simple, or else it's not very obvious how this is supposed to be done.

You have choices - use the Share menu, then save as an .iBooks file where you can find it...email or place on a server for them to download. They then drop into their iTunes and sync.
You can also save as a PDF and send that around however works easiest in your example.

  • How can I send a large .MOV file to a USB?

We had an event a few days ago, and made a movie with iMovie, when I finally finished making it and adding what i wanted and edited to my like I exported it. The file is currently 9.86GB. I have a 32GB USB thumbdrive but everytime I try to "drag and drop" it tells me the file is too large for the volumes format. Now, I'm confused. I also tried exporting it directly to my USB but that didn't work also. I've tried sending the movie through an ethernet cable I had, and I succeeded but the quality downgraded and the movie was converted to a 8.42GB movie. I want the full HD video I took and edited, and thats on my mac. By the way I'm trying to send this movie to my VAIO PC. So does anyone know how to copy .MOV files to a USB? It's a PNY 32GB USB thumbdrive.

    Here's how I did it:
    1.  Open disc utility
    2.  Select the USB drive on the left
    3.  Click the "erase" button
    4.  It will give you a "Format" pull down bar, select "Mac extended journaled." That will give you the complete USB to use. I don't suggest case sensitive journaled.
    5.  Click "Erase and Reformat"
    Success!

  • I need to know how to copy pictures to a cd with the captions showing, elements 8 and windows 7

I need to know how to copy
pictures to a cd with the captions showing, elements 8, windows 7

Here are some suggestions.  Perhaps others will have even better ideas.
1 -- for viewing on a Windows computer,  you can experiment with making a PSE Organizer slide show creation in which you specify to show the captions. Then save the Output of the slide show as a WMV file that the recipient could play on a computer with Windows Media Player.
If you have a DVD burner on your PC, you can also use that WMV file as input to the Windows 7 DVD Maker program for making a TV playable DVD. And if your recipient(s) who will view on a computer have DVD readers, you could make video DVDs playable on computers or TV DVD players instead of using CDs.
The limitations of this approach are that this wmv file you create is really a video file so
-- it advances photo slides at the rate specified when you create the slide show
-- the choices to save a wmv file are not very high resolution so that recipients who have high resolution monitors will not see the photo images are not getting the benefit of seeing the photos at their best
-- your recipients can't print from this video slide show
2 An entirely different approach is to
-- For each individual photo, make a copy of the photo file and depending on how high resolution your originals you might want to resize down to monitor viewing sizes.
-- Then use the PSE Editor Text Tool to place the caption on a layer above the photo. (I think that you could display the existing caption and then do a copy and paste so that you don't need to retype everything.)
-- You should save this photo copy with the text as a uniquely named JPEG file. Use the file names to control the sequence in which you want the viewer to see the photos.  (Don't save as a PSD because others probably can't read the PSD format).
-- Then use your computers CD burning software to burn a folder containing all those jpeg files with the captions to CD
This approach is a bit of work for each photo and you did not say how many photo files you will be doing. However,
-- computer users should be able to display  the jpegs as high resolution photos on their computer as well as optionally print from those photo files
-- many TV DVD players can play (display) jpg files from a CD disc which also gives recipients the opportunity to view the photos on their larger TV screen
Process 2 may seem complicated but once you get started I think it will be more of a production line.
    ADDITION
Do you have any portrait orientation photos included with those you wish to send ? If yes, we might need to discuss some additional processing for them.

  • How do I send part of a pdf?

I have the Adobe reader, but not Acrobat. How do I send part of a pdf file that I have to someone else? I tried copying and pasting the excerpt into a Microsoft Word document but when I do this the text prints out blurry. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Copy and paste will work with text, but you can loose formatting.
Graphics will not necessarily go over either.
On a Mac, you can use Reader or Preview and print to pdf the part of the
pdf you want. It won't be the same as the original, but it will be
close. On a PC (and on some Macs) you can fax the pages of interest.
Some fax drivers will allow you to save the Fax as a TIFF and you can
    send that via the internet.
You can also, print to paper the pages of interest.
    Place paper in an envelope.
    Add address and stamp.
    Drop in post box.

How do I send an email with a group address and not show the addresses/names of the recipients?

Use BCC.   That's blind carbon copy.   And copy paste the address into the BCC field.  It really depends what e-mail program you use how to enable BCC.

  • How to copy files from a color classic w/broken floppy drive to an i-book ?

How to copy files from a color classic w/broken floppy drive to an i-book ?
    I have a Coplor Classic with a system 7.
There is no ethernet on color classic. The floppy drive is dead.
I need some important files I have on the color classic...
How do I connetct them to transfer files?...

The easiest way, as AppleIIFreak has suggested, is probably to find another older Macintosh computer (with the round MiniDIN printer port) to be used as an intermediary. You could then connect the two machines by means of LocalTalk cabling, or just a plain Mac serial printer cable between the printer ports, and then set up file sharing. From that other Mac, you should be able to forward the files via Ethernet, diskettes (if you have an external USB floppy drive for the iBook) or email (Internet).
If a second old Mac is not available, you may want to try something else. It would not be unusual for a Color Classic to have ClarisWorks already (obviously, one cannot expect anything new to become installed). If so, that program suite would contain a communications part. This means that you could connect an external serial modem, and send the files over the phone lines (or locally, modem-to-modem, in principle as in KB article # 22229; sometimes a very simple home-built line simulator may have to be added) to any other computer using a terminal emulation application with file transfer capabilities. It would also be possible to connect the modem port directly to the serial port of a PC, through a combination of a Mac modem cable (MiniDIN-8M to DB-25M) and a standard PC null-modem cable (DB-25F to DB-9F).

  • Error in SXMB_MONI as"Copy Sender from Payload: Sender Is Missing in Payloa

    Hi Folks,
I am working on file to IDOC scenario. If I am testing in ESR and ID my interface is working fine. But when I am testing end to end I am getting below error. Please find the below error.

Can u ppl please suggest me how to resolve this error.Ur help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Swathi

You need to have a S-userid for that....check with senior members within your company....they would be having this S-userid
    Some portion from the note:
You are using the Exchange Infrastructure and you use the IDoc adapter to send IDocs. A setting in the IDoc channel
defines that the IDoc sender agreement is to be determined from the payload.  The payload is stored in the XI message in the
IDoc tunnel format.  If the message has been created, for example, using a Business Process Engine (BPE) process, the IDoc
inbound property may no longer be available in the XI message. This results in the error described above.
TIll you get access to the SAP Note:
In mapping enable the EDI_DC40 segment in your IDOC...fill SEGMENT, SNDPOR, SNDPRT, SNDPRN ....map them as constant
then in IDOC channel check take Apply Control record from payload (or take sender from payload)

    Abhishek.

  • IDOC Error - Copy Sender from Payload: Sender Is Missing in Payload

    Hi,
    I have following scenario.
    SOAP adapter ---> PI   -

    > ECC
THe IDOC has a required node that is disabled and IDOC revicer communication channel has checkd following options.
Apply control record value from pay load
    Take Sender from Payload
The soap message is mapped to IDOC structure. While testing I received following error.
    <SAP:Code area="IDOC_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_METADATA</SAP:Code>
<SAP:P1>Copy Sender from Payload: Sender Is Missing in Payload</SAP:P1>

<SAP:Stack>Error: Copy Sender from Payload: Sender Is Missing in Payload</SAP:Stack>
If you have seen similar error and please let me know how to trobleshoot. I appreciate your help.
    Thank you,
    Balaji

Thank you for the response. I can enable EDI_DC40 segment and map required following values.
    ·        SNDPRN
    ·        SNDPRT
    ·        SNDPFC
    ·        RCVPRN
    ·        RCVPRT
However as we move transports to different environemnts the above values changes and I can't hard code in the mapping.
My questions is how can I map these values such that when transport moves across different environemtns the mapping valaues are still good. Please let me know.
Dont enable EDI_DC40 and dont select take sender ,receiver from pay load option, apply control record values from pay load.
this case IDoc adapter reads values from configuration time andno  problem after trasporting to quality or prod.
