How to correct layout of videos saved to/viewed on my PC?

I have an iPHONE 5C and an HP laptop PC (Windows 7 OS). When I copy (backup) my videos onto my PC from my iPHONE 5c, they all display/play in a ROTATED way, NOT in the way/layout that I recorded them! My videos were all recorded using my iPHONE, stored in my camera roll, and then copied to my HP laptop.
I have no problems in rotate photos (e.g., since they're .jpeg files, very easy to do). But not with videos.
Any tips? Apps? Software?

Thank you; I discovered my Windows Movie Maker by sheer accident and was thus able to save my videos onto my laptop hard drive as a backup measure, both in their original *.mov format and also the (saved) *.wmv format.

How to correct error in iPhone 4S Calendar 'views'?

I have been using iPhone for years and have the new 4S which I also have been successfully using to sync iPhone Calendar to Google Calendar and my MS Outlook 2007 on my desktop PC (Windows). All has been working flawlessly - syncing in both directions via Google Calendar 'in the middle' of the process.
Last week I went abroad to a different timezone and whilst I took care to disable (before traveling) 'Cellular data' and 'Data Roaming' under iPhone/Settings/General/Network (and disabling 'Location services' under Settings too) - I notice that a strange error has emerged in my iPhone calendar 'List' view which is new and mysterious. let me explain...
I first noticed that several same-day (but different type of) appointments I had entered via one of my devices (iPhone or Outlook PC or direct onto Google Calendars via web interface) onto one of these days was being shown on my iPhone calendar LIST view as a new 'day' per appointment. E.g. Let's Say Tuesday 4th June had '0900: meeting Joe' and on the same day had '1000: Meeting Jack' then what actually was being seen on my iPhone Calendar LIST view was two 'Tuesdays' one after the other in the list - each with one of those appointments on. I don't know about you but in my life there is only one Tuesday 4th June in life! There is no such repetition of 'days' under 'MONTH' view and when looking at the 'DAY' view both the Joe and Jack appointments are quite rightly shown on that one single Tuesday day view! What the heck is going on?
This may have nothing to do with me traveling into another timezone at all as I have done that before without this weirdness happening.The timezones on all three devices are set the same (UK GMT).
What I want is for the multiple appointments for one particular day to be shown on LIST view as being on one day and not to see that day 'repeated' - one per different appointment.
Any help anyone has got would be appreciated.

PS. Before you ask - I will not ever be using Apple iCloud for Calendar sync - not ever (MobileMe screwed up my business calendar by wiping all of the data on all devices twice - hence me moving to Google Calendar - a Godsend in comparison)

That willl work on a camera roll photo - taken with iphone.
Otherwise you will need to deslect it in itunes and sync.

How can I access photos and videos saved to the iCloud? I backed up my iphone to the Cloud but now the files are nowhere to be found.
I had to reset all content and settings in order to troubleshoot an issue. Before I did this, I backed up the iphone to icloud. When I reprogrammed the phone, I had to set it up as a new device and individually sync apps and other items from itunes. But by doing this, I somehow lost some videos and can't seem to find where they would have been saved/backed up. Can anyone offer any guidance?

You can't view photos and videos on icloud (except for shared photo stream pics). iCloud merely sync photos between devices using the stream. If you don't have photo stream turned on, then the only place photos in the camera roll are located are in a backup. You would have to restore from the backup. But be warned that many users have ended up losing their photos when performing a restore, for whatever reason.
What you should do in the future is always sync photos/videos to a computer for storage, don't leave them on a device or trust icloud to somehow store them.

Hi,
If you have the newest version of iPhoto and iMovie, you can access your iPhoto videos in iMovie directly.
On your iMovie, after creating a new project, on the bottom left hand corner, expand your Hard Drive (Macintosh HD), and then click on "iPhoto Videos."
You can use those clicps by dragging them right into your project on the upper left hand corner and use them.
However, if the videos you took on your camera are not supported by iPhoto, then you'll need some third-party software to help you convert them.

IMovie: I uploaded HDV video from a Canon HV20 and then to YouTube. The video and the audio are out of sync. The audio seems to precede the video by a tiny bit which is disconcerting. Any recommendations about how to correct this? Thank you.

I downloaded video via iMovie from my Canon HV20. The video was in HDV. I then published it to YouTube and Vimeo and in both cases, the audio is out of sync: the video precedes the audio by a fraction of a second. The original is fine as viewed in the camera.
Any suggestions as to why and how to correct it?

I backed up my iPhone today in order to save my Camera Roll pictures and videos safely in my Laptop and then I deleted them from my iPhone to make some free space.... And I want those pictures and videos in future back into my iPhone. So I know I must restore my iPhone from back up to get back the camera roll pics and vids. But what I want to know is, where are those pictures and videos saved in my Windows Laptop when I backed up my iPhone to iTunes today? There must be some folder of iTunes or somewhere in the iTunes software where they must be saved after backing up. I want to see them on my Laptop now but how can I do that?
I did not import them, I backed up my iPhone to my Laptop using iTunes.

they are in the backup file that, sadly, is not accesible unless you restore it to a phone... if you want/need access to them, you should import them

How do I move a video project from Encore to AIR via Flash Builder?

I've got a rather complex video project with lots of submenus (that works as a DVD - so it is "debugged") that I need to be able to export from Encore into an app to upload on the iTunes store and Android Market. So far, I've managed to export the project via Encore's Flash output and test the results using a web browser (it works). Everything got saved in a new folder structure with an index.html file pointing to the flashdvd.swf file pointing to the AuthoredContent.xml file that actually holds all the information on the file structure (there are 99 files in the Sources subfolder) and uses the default generated Theme.xml file.
What I need to do is to somehow import all this into Flash Builder as a project so it can become the source for the various "app" platforms. My questions are:
1. I've got Flash Builder 4.5 - do I need to upgrade to 4.7 in order to import the project or can this be done in 4.5?
2. Is there some intermediate step that I'm missing?
3. Will Flash Builder be able to repackage all these files into the file specs required by each target platform (I'm assuming it will - is that a valid assumption)?
And moving downstream a bit...
4. Since this is a video based project with over 200 megabytes of F4V content, how will the content arrive on the end user device? Will it have to be streamed or can it be downloaded? - this is a big issue should the app become popular and we be forced to maintain a streaming server somewhere. What about server sizing in such an event? For example: is there a way to estimate how much bandwidth is required per 1,000 instances?

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again
