I've Windows Server 2008 R2 Web as well as R2 Standard.
I just only want to share my server's internet so if any of my employee tries to access anything over internet it should got via my dedicated server ip address. I don't want to use VPN as it might share things other then the internet. I want to create particular
credentials for each of my employees

My ipod shows a proxy server error HTTP every time I try to connect to the internet. It used to be fine and the started doing it about a week ago. Does anyone know how to fix it?

How to add address of Proxy Server

When using Safari and other internet applications on the iPhone I cannot access the internet pages on my iPhone but when I use Interenet Explorer on my Windows machine using the same internet address and the the same wifi connection all is OK. The wifi connect works OK because I can access email.
In Microsoft Internet Explorer the only way it works is by entering a proxy Server address. How can I set this for the iPhone?

Settings > Wi-Fi. Tap the little blue arrow at the right of the network you're connected to, then scroll down to HTTP Proxy, tap Manual and enter the server and port, or if you use an automatic proxy setting, tap Auto and enter the URL. You should be able to get that information from the settings in IE on your computer.

How to access Internet through proxy server

Please help... I cannot get Internet access through a proxy server at work.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

How do i fix the "proxy server" so I can go to web sites. Now, it won't go anywhere but gives me the proxy server message. This is happening for 3.8 and Beta. Thanks

I uninstalled then reinstalled 3.8 twice and it still happened. I installed Beta--no luck. I get the following message:
"The proxy server is refusing connections
Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections."
Changing proxy settings is beyond my expertise. Thank you.

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

That won't work. The Options Window page is for Firefox on the desktop. Try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/addon/proxy-mobile/ or edit the proxy preferences by typing about:config in the address bar and filtering on proxy.

How do I specify a particular Proxy Server, port, user-ID and password for file downloads

We are attempting to deploy Creative Cloud trial applications to a couple of users for testing purposes.
This is a corporate environment where we need to specify a particular proxy server by IP address, and port with a User-ID and password for identification in order to download files.
The Creative Cloud app appears to be ignoring the proxy settings in the browsers installed on the machine used to attempt a download. The Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition wants you to already have the files available. All technical support had is a white list, no help on how to specify a particular proxy server. Do we have to obtain media from Adobe, or is there a way to download these?

When you run the application use:
java -Dhttp.proxyHost={ip} -Dhttp.proxyPort={port} {app}
where ip is the ip address of your proxy
port is the port the proxy uses
app is the app you are running.

If you want to see traffic without being in the middle (the requests go direct) then you can not use the standard Java API. And do so in any situation of course requires that you be in the physical connection in the first place (ie in a star network with a router in the middle a client machine will not see packets from other machines.)

Installing a Proxy server?

Ok.
I have come a bit further then last time.
I have managed to get both my internal mailserver and my external mail gateway up and running. They are talking together and mail is flowing as intended.
On the mail gateway in the DMZ local delivery is turned off.
On the internal mail server I now have IMAP running and I'm using Squirrel mail for web based mail.
Web mail is delivered from the internal gateway address through NAT.
I'm running the external web service on the mail gateway in the DMZ.
I'm running internal webservices on the internal server.
VPN connects directly to the internal router.
Wireless services connect directly to the internal network
I have bought a second router to put between the ISP and my DMZ. Once I have installed this router I will start to restrict the flow of information.
Now I would like to take a look at how to set up a proxy server.
I know what it is for, and where to put it but I don't know how to configure such a device.
Could you please point me to some reading material on this issue?
Perhaps something of similar quality as the documentation on postfix.org.

Certificate problem in Proxy Server (ODSEE 11g)

I am having a problem adding a CA Certificate to the Proxy Server. I followed the steps in the documentation, however I get the error: "keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Public keys in reply and keystore don't match".
From what I have read, this error means that the alias name I am using when I add the new certificate is already being used. As per the documentation...
When you request a CA-signed certificate, a temporary self-signed certificate is created. When you receive and install the CA-signed certificate from the CA, the new certificate replaces the temporary self-signed certificate.
... and this does happen. However when I bring in the new cert to replace... I get the mentioned error.
If I use a different alias, it doesn't give me an error. However, I can't see it when I use the "dpadm list-certs" command (although it is there when I use the keytool command). More importantly, the "defaultservercert" is still the certificate being used when accessing the server.
So the big question is... How do I get the Proxy Server to use the new CA Certificate?
I've tried using the keytool command in many different ways, and it fails each time. Lesson learned: don't mess with the keystore via keytool. Any changes made are not recognized by the Proxy Server.
I don't have access to this Proxy Server via DSCC because I do not have the password for the account running the services (a restriction made by the client), so it all to be done via CLI.
The operating system is Oracle Solaris 10 8/11 s10s_u10wos_17b SPARC.

Help! Old Version of Page STUCK in Safari Proxy Server

I have a website that I run. For some reason no matter what I do, there are old versions of my website stuck in the Safari Proxy Server. A year and a half ago my online cart was down, so I put up a message on the website. I STILL get calls almost every day from people who think my online cart is down. I am at my wit's end! How do I tell the proxy server that there is an updated version of my website!?! I have tried embedding code, doing major design changes, but nothing has helped. Anyone?!

For some reason no matter what I do, there are old versions of my website stuck in the Safari Proxy Server.
That's a rather vague statement. It would be more helpful if you actually said what you have done so far to correct this problem.
But to my way of thinking, you need to clear the cache of your proxy server, which should be easy to do and it should work.
