How to create a blank page template?

Hi,
I'm using HTMLDB 2.0 and want to create a completely blank page - when I choose "View Source" on browse it must have no code.
I've created a template with all regions (header, body, footer, etc...) empty, and applied it to a empty page (no regions, items or anything) but when I view it's source on the web browser I always get this empty javascript block:

</script>
I need a really empty page. What must I do for this Javascript block disappears from my empty template?

I have the same problem when I try to create an XML template: an unwanted script tag. In addition the footer definition is repeated for some reason.
Any ideas how to get rid of the script tag and repeated footer?
My template is blank except for the following header:

What I'm trying to accomplish is creating an xfdf that opens a fillable PDF form. I'm a long ways from getting there but this is my first step.

To create a custom page template in webcentre portal

I am trying to create my own page template in web centre portal .. may i know how can it be achieved ? is it the same way as we do in adf or we have to follow the same thing which we get pre-built template of webcentre application (myTemplate_globe.jspx) when we create a webcentre application.

To enable the form to be signed in Reader you will need to open the form in Acrobat; goto Advanced>Enable Usage Rights and then save this copy of the form for sending out to the users.
The user should then be able to edit and digitally sign the form. They can then email the signed/saved pdf as a browsed for attachment or via the email icon in the toolbar. Note - if you have created an email submit button on the form, then unless they have Acrobat they could only return an xml file.
The other way to do this however is to create a dataset by 'distributing' the form. This time the Email Return button will send back a full version of the form. During the distribution setup you will have the option to email the form directly or to save it and send it later,so you can send to users as and when or even post it to a website or intranet.
When you receive and open the returned form it will ask whether you want to add it to the predetermined dataset (or if you want to categorise the returns into geographical areas for example, you could create new additional datasets at this point). If the form is data heavy however, the dataset will become very large and unwieldy pretty quickly, but you can export the data from it (including signatures) in xml format and import this into an Excel spreadsheet.
To simplify the Excel xml import process I'd recommend you carefully structure your form in the hierarchy (LiveCycle) into the order you would want the data items to appear in your spreadsheet and switch off those data items that you will not need by setting the default binding for the irrelevant fields to "None".

Location of DW "blank page" templates

I want to copy DW's "blank page" templates to another folder, to use with another text editor. I've done a little searching, but have only been able to find locations for user-created templates. I know I could open the templates in DW and "save as," but I'd rather not have to do that for each file type. Can anyone tell me the location of these files? I'm using DW CS3 on a Mac. Thanks.

The location in Windows is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\configuration\DocumentTypes\NewDocuments. For a Mac, you should be able to find them at the same location by replacing C:\Program Files with Applications.

<<< The only way to do this is with JS. You can use jQuery's .load() method
to load your cart into the registration layout. You'll have to do some
parsing of that cart table to obtain things like product name, quantity etc
and present this in some kind of summary. Parsing tables in jQuery is not a
nice task, so if you're going to embark onto producing this kind of summary
you may want to get rid off the table from the cart and simple throw in
some divs and tags which will help you parse the cart nicely. That mans
you'll have to construct the layout for the cart though using JS.
Example of alternative cart layout:

You can see that this is much nicer to read and you can then construct your
own data structure that will hold this info and render it it whichever way
you want to. You can even write it back as a table where each product is in
its own row. You may want to look at something that gives you template.
model, controller like ember.js.
Anyway, I hope that helps somewhat.

Anyway if you are trying to connect to an Oracle Database you dont need the jdbc-odbc bridge as oracle provides a special driver for java applets/applications that is "the thin driver" and the "oci driver"..so if you are connecting to Oracle your connection will look like this:
Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"); //not sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver
Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection ("blah blah, blah");
no need for the jdbc-odbc bridge.

How do I save a Pages template as a separate document? I madea schedule template, and now that it is filled in for Sept/Oct, how do I save it as such?

The first time you save a document made from a template you will get the new document/save as dialog. A template is a special kind of document that will open a new, untitled document when you choose it, either in the template chooser or by double-clicking in a Finder window. A Pages template has the .template file extension. If your "template" isn't really a template, you will need to duplicate the document & then save it.
