Hi Experts,
I would like to seek help from you. I am new in developing CRM objects. My first requirement is to create a custom program that will generate a PDF report.
First thing I would like to know is the transaction code where I need to create a BSP application that will be able to run in crm webclient. Please clarify if it is in BSP_WD_CMPWB or in SE80 because it is said that I should create BSP application using MVC.
Second thing is how will I be able to call a smartforms in a BSP application. The scenario for my custom program would be, I should have a two input fields in the selection-screen which are Business Partner ID and Product Lines. together with a button that will trigger the form when ticked.
Hope to hear from all of you. Your help will be very much appreciated.

And also you dont have to use se80 to create new Bsp appliaction. You can create new application by this transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB.

I got the requirement where i need to create the form for the Annuitant (Retriees) through they will inform their annuity department still they are surviving....so based upon that,Annuitant department run the annuity payslip for him.......
In that I should keep company information in the top and resprctive employee information like EMP ID and his contact address need to specify by default.....
For ex: Employee X is clicking this form..it should contain common information like company name and also employee's "X" respective information like his EMP ID and his contact address like wise the form should generate both common address and employee respective information.....both in Arabic and in english....
Is there any readymade BSP for this or if anybody have developed same kind of BSP pls send the code to [email protected]
How to do that.....ist very urgent.......
Help will be higly apppreciated.......

How to create 'SAP BSP iView'?

All,
I am trying to to create a 'SAP BSP iView' in EP 7.0.
On creating the BSP Application iView in SAP Portal, I get the following error:
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView : N/A
Component Name : N/A
Application URL 'http:///sap/bc/bsp/sap/BEAD_CRMB_BD/entrypoint.do' is not valid! Please check the protocol and host entries for system 'ABCDSystem'..
Application Namespace: sap (defaulted by portal)
Customer Namespace: sap (defaulted by portal)
Business Server Page (BSP) Application: BEAD_CRMB_BD
Application Parameters: crm_bsp_frame
Start Page: entrypoint.do
On deploying the Application in SE80, the application is displayed at the following url.
http://xxx:8001/sap(bD1lbiZjPTQ0MCZkPW1pbg==)/bc/bsp/sap/crm_bsp_frame/entrypoint.do?sap-client=440&appl=BEAD_CRMB_BD&version=1
Any thoughts as to why this iView is not working would be greatly appreciated.

As suggested I have made the following changes:
Application Namespace: sap (defaulted by portal)
Customer Namespace: sap (defaulted by portal)
Business Server Page (BSP) Application: crm_bsp_frame
Application Parameters:
Start Page: entrypoint.do
I have checked my system connection from portal to backend system and it works.
When I try to preview the iView, I get the following error.
- a pop up saying "Session management will not work, please check DSM log file for details"

Is there any readymade BSP or Iview for this (or) if anybody have developed same kind of BSP or somehow related to his scenario, pls send the code to [email protected]

Use a JFrame and paint on the content pane. Or a Frame with a Canvas (who the heck still uses AWT?).
They probably don't do anything because painting a button is not enough. It actually needs to be a button. Or Menu.

I have created a Structure in BSP.I want to create an internal table for that Structure. But in my coding ie.

In this zuvendstr is Structure ,wa_str is workarea and itab_1 is an Internal table.But it is showinng an error that itab_1 is unknown.But we cannot define internal tables for an Structure in Page Attributes.So,please resolve how to create internal table for Structure in BSPS

How to create an url for bsp page to access in IE?

hi friends,
I am new to BSP topic.
I have created 4 BSP pages. and 1 Main BSP page. Now in Main BSP page i attached all the 4 BSP pages links.
Now when i test the Main BSP page it will show all the 4 BSP page links. All are working fine.
But the end user has to access this through IE by typing Main BSP page full path. It's some what becoming critical to enter full path. It will be access in internally(intranet) only not outside.
For this i want create an URL like http://empess.
When the user type this URL http://empess in IE and press enters then my main BSP page has to open.
How to do this. any helps will appreciate...

As u said i created External Alias as /ITCESS to my BSP application.
And i select my BSP application name from the Target Element tab. Then i selected the alias name i right clicked on it, i selected TestExt. Alis option. It's working fine.
But now the problem is, i want this to display in IE direclty, when user type the /ITCESS in Internet Explorer addres bar.
