How to create a cross ref. between html page to external PDF file

Hi all,
I don't know if it can be done but i'd like to create cross ref. or link from an html page (using robo#7) to a pdf file - in a spesific location i.e heading/bookmark inside the pdf. Is it possible? & if so, how do I do it?

Hi Tali.
I believe it is, although I've never tried. The syntax is the same as for bookmarks in a HTM file. You just specify the URL for the PDF with #bookmark on the end (where bookmark = the PDF bookmark name). For example <a href=http://www.adobe.com/prodlist.pdf#bookmark>.

How do I print multiple copies of a page in a PDF File? For some reason I tell it to print, for example, 3 or 4 copies of a certain page and it will only print one copy!!!

OS X 10.9.5Adobe Reader 11.0.10
I increase the number of copies to 3, 4, or 5 (etc.) but it would still only print one copy of the designated page/pages.

Use PHP to convert html page to a pdf file for email

I want to use my php scripts to send an email (with a pdf attachment) of the web page that is being viewed.
My problem I have no way to convert the html page to a pdf file without the end user being prompted to (1) naming the file (2) saving it
Is there a program or a way i can save the html as "auto_name.pdf" file on the server without user input?

There are lots of good Html to Pdf conversion tools for developers, both free and paid. I'd suggest to take a look at PD4ML Html to Pdf converter - it has lots of features (CSS support, page layout presets, etc.) and can be obtained for free for non commercial usage. There is also a topic at Stackoverflow with a list of such converters.

One way would be to open the PDF with Acrobat XI Pro. Then from Tools - Pages use the feature that supports page extractions to a new PDF.
Use this new PDF as the "source" PDF for Acrobat's File - Save As Other to export to a supported file format.

Preview cannot do this - it is not a PDF editing utility. If you have the original document in an editable format (eg a Pages, or Word document) then you can edit it, print it, and from the print dialogue, save as a PDF. Otherwise you'll need the full Adobe product or similar to acheive what you want.

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and an assortment of very large pdfs that I want to make into about a thousand individual pdfs. The pages contain text and I want to be able to copy parts of the page into separate different pdfs. It would be really nice if I could split up the page into the required sections by highlighting all the different sections on the page and then save each section to individual pdfs all at once. With the number of pages you are talking about, there is no real easy solution. However, try extracting the page(s) you want in a new file. After the extracted file exists, try using the object select tool to remove the parts you do not want. You might find using the redaction tool to zero out the parts you don't want might work better. Unfortunately, a PDF is not a word processor type data file and the editing is likely not going to be easy.

Hello Srini,
Prerequisite to create a cross reference for an item in eBusiness suite is that the item should be created in the master organization and assigned to your organization.
Navigate to screen Inventory > Items > Cross references. Enter a name for your cross reference.
Then, click on Assign : a screen is opened. In this screen, you can enter Item and Cross reference value. Note that a cross reference can be defined for an organization or common to all organizations.
Another kind of cross reference you can create is Customer item (it defines how a customer designates your item). It can be defined through screen
Inventory > Customer item > Customer Item and Customer item cross references.
Please refer to Inventory user guide for more detail about this functionalities.

If you aren't able to figure out how to call a C++ DLL in .net then there may be another option. Unfortunately I don't know how to do this off the top of my head and I don't have an example.

I have a servlet that creates a chart as a BufferedImage.
I can output it as a file using ImageIO.write(bimg,"PNG","fn.ext")
I would rather put it in a web page but I don't know how.
It seems I can either put out an html page or an image file
but not both. Does anyone know how ?
