HOW TO CREATE A EVENT IN WORKFLOW THROUGH ORACLE APPS 11i Application

Dear all,
I am un able to create a Business Event in Oracle Work flow Version 2.6.3 through Oracle Apps11i " Workflow Administrator Responsibility" ..
In Workflow Administrator Responsibility, I could search the Business Events bUT i cannot create the Business Events...
Please help me to sort the Issue....

An another possibility is to do the opposite to what I just wrote. Upload the true definition to the database an compare with the one you are not sure about via SQL:
1. Backup the WFT file where the standard/seeded workflow is provided
2. Edit it and change the name of the ITEM_TYPE. For instance, change it from OEOL to OEOL_TMP (cannot exceed 8 characters)
3. Upload it to the database with WFLOAD
4. Compare the design tables for the two if them (WF_ITEM_TYPES, WF_ACTIVITIES, WF_MESSAGES, WF_PROCESS_ACTIVITIES, WF_ITEM_ATTRIBUTES, etc). If the table provides a VERSION column then the query would need to use a WHERE END_DATE is null (so that you get only the active/current version of the object). A select... MINUM select would do the job.
I would do this in test though, to avoid a mistake can cause any issues.

Once u created a data source. go to respective application component which u have assigned ducring creatinon of DS in RSO2 and right click on it and use replicate metadata.
a popup with options 1. as data source
2. as 3.x data source will come u select 2 one here and go on.

Hi Puneet,
Goto transaction SM62 and in there to BckProcEvents tab. There you can create the events.
You just need to specify the name and Description of an event.

I dont know how to create an event? I am assuming I can use a SQL qry as an event. I would like to use:

A.Working with Distribution Lists Creating a Distribution List.
1 Businees Workplace->shared folder - create new subfolder name = WF_distributor
2.Then click on the distribution list in Businees Workplace.
say create Name = WF_Vliste
folder Name = WF_distributor
3.distribution list content tab
Enter Recipient (SAP User ID)
B.Wrkflow Builder
Find out the dialig step in which u want to use distribution list
Use workflow Rule 30000012 (SWX_READ_DLI).
Maintain the binding from workflow container to rule container.
Just pass the name of the distribution list from WF to Rule container.

If you want to use Excel, then I would suggest that you export your calendar spreadsheet as a comma separated values (.csv) file and then import that data into the Calendar application in Palm Desktop. Then Hotsync your Palm.

You should update to Xcode 4.6.3, to begin with. Then Google the latest FB iOS API...details should be provided there on usage.

Is there a way to create new events on the new iPhoto app?

Is there a way to create new events on the new iPhoto app? I seem to only be able to create albums. I would really like the app to allow me to do all the same things that I was able to do on my Mac. I would create events and then sync to all devices. Can someone please instruct me on how to create new events from the photos imported from the photo stream.

The iPhoto for iOS seems to be aimed at working on photos then sharing them to social media sites or to iCloud for sharing there. iPhoto for iOS does not perform many of the organizing tasks that iPhoto on your Mac does. If I understand your question correctly:
You need to be connected to the database with the user SYS.
open a command-line session and do the following to create an Oracle user with DBA option other than SYS.
C:\>sqlplus /nolog
SQL*Plus: Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production on Fri Oct 14 08:46:13 2005
Copyright (c) 1982, 2002, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
SQL> conn / as sysdba
Connected.
