I can be done with predefined templates on workspace which is called personal pages.It can be done also with IR dashboards where you can customize according to your real requirement.

You can find in knowledge exchange a script to create an flash file item type. With this installed you can add a flash file to an item region on a page.

[newbie] How to create a home page with no bottom

Hi, I'm new to Flex and ActionScript. I'm studying a book
both on Flex and ActionScript and I'm trying to get started with my
website. I was able to create the skeleton of it, with an
ApplicationControlBar at the top, a banner component to the right,
etc
Now I wanted the central part of my page to be bottomless,
meaning that I could add content indefinitely and the user could
scroll the content with the mouse wheel. However, the only way I
found so far is to use a text area; the problem is that the
textarea is in the central part of the page, and when the text goes
beyond the height, scroll bars appear on the textarea, which is
horrible. I'd like a similar style as

Can you see that the page is 'scrollable', with the content
in the centre but the scroll bars only at the side? How could I
achieve the same format with Flex 3?

Did you try setting textarea's verticalScrollPolicy to
ScrollPolicy.NONE?
The textfield within textarea should handle mouse wheel
scroll now without the scrollbars appearing next to the text area.
If you need to programmatically scroll, just change the
verticalScrollPosition.

iPhoto creates its own homepage with its own address, you cannot change it. You might consider using something like tinyurl to promote a shorter URL though.

How do you create a home page named index.htm

I created a basic test website using Site Builder. It said that the url for the website was http://mysite.verizon.net/vzer####/ instead of http://mysite.verizon.net/myusername/ , which is what the Help led me to expect. When I try to go to http://mysite.verizon.net/myusername/, it tells me that "This home page is under construction! ".
The help site tells me that I should "name their home page index.htm ". How do I go about doing this. I don't mind getting rid of the current webpage I created, as it is only a test one (how do I do this?)
If you can either answer these 2 questions re the name of my webpage, and, more importantly, how to name my home page index.htm, or direct me to where the answers may be found, I'd appreciate it.
By the way, even though I signed on as "bearsfolks", the site insists on calling me "turner111", which is another user id I had created as I was having trouble signing on under "bearsfolks"!

OK. This is weird--but I should be used to that, and just grateful that it seems to work (for now).
What I had done is FTPd some image files to my site using Filezilla, but when I had tried to access them, I was unsuccessful. I am almost sure that I used the same url (and variations of it) as you suggested, namely, http://mysite.verizon.net/username/filename , and it either did not work, or gave me the "Page under construction", or, in some cases asked me for my username and password.
But, when I did it this time, it worked. So I probably had something off, but I can now do what I want.
By the way, if you'll permit another question, while on the site-builder site, it said that there was a "Web Photo Manager", and said that "To download the Web Photo Manager: Open the Site Builder application and go to the All My Sites page. Click on the Web Photo Manager link (listed under Advanced Building Tools )." I can't find it--would you happen to know where it is?
In any case, thanks a lot for all your help--it solved my problem.

How to set multiple home pages, the option is gone (replaced my hard drive and had to reinstall firefox) This version seems to only offer tabs, not pages?

My old version of Firefox had the option for me to set multiple home pages. My hard drive recently failed and had to be replaced, so I had to install the newest version of Firefox. The only option I see when I go to tools, options, general is to set the one home page. (and maybe tabs) I would like to open several of the same pages every time I open my Firefox. Does anyone know how to get this back, or which version had this feature so I can downgrade to that particular version?
Also, I was wondering if there is a way to get the bookmarks I had on the old version back. I think they are lost forever, but if anyone knows, I would be thankful. I do still have the old hard drive, but the way it failed was actually when you tried to open any browser, the hard drive would go and blue screen, this is why the old hard drive had to be replaced. Thanks. :)

So you mean you want to open new windows with the same page when you open Firefox?

As for recovering your bookmarks, you can try to plug that hard drive into a working computer, and then read [[Recovering important data from an old profile]] to copy your bookmarks from it. However, if it is failing you may not be able to do that.

Anyway if you are trying to connect to an Oracle Database you dont need the jdbc-odbc bridge as oracle provides a special driver for java applets/applications that is "the thin driver" and the "oci driver"..so if you are connecting to Oracle your connection will look like this:
Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"); //not sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver
Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection ("blah blah, blah");
no need for the jdbc-odbc bridge.

Start page lacks menu items - unlike "How to set the home page" view

I have just downloaded the beta of Firefox 4 and am attempting to reproduce opening home page from previous version. Directions on accomplishing this (loading the NY Times front page) depend on a menu bar with "File, Edit, View, History" etc. There are not visible. They are shown in the directions on Firefox Help but not on my computer. How to do this??

When viewing the support articles, in the right-hand column there is a section titled "Help With:", make sure it is set to Windows and Firefox 4 to get help relevant to the version you are using. In some articles you get different content when you select Firefox 4.

It sounds like your iPod is frozen on the startup logo. Have you tried a hard reset yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Hello,i am very new to dreamweaver 8,and i have searched
everwhere possible on how to create a html page.My website has a
navegation bar.And on the navegation bar it has links,like
forums,your accounts,and etc,but thats already integrated with the
website.Now i have an option in the admin area,wher i can create a
new category so that it would show up in the navegation bar,and i
have a drop down menu where i cans select what to put in that
category.But also i have an option to put a external url,so that
when they click on it,it will take them to where that link is
directed.The point is that i asnt to make a category in the
navigation menu that says Lirics.So that i can put lirics of songs
and etc,and that when users click on that link it will take them to
the lirics page..Do you guys understand?Sorry for the bad english,i
am now quite good with it..

The pdf file is a simple application, but i want know how create a view in HTML format (<HTML>... </HTML>), maybe use HTMLB control, i don't sure it.
In fact, I need create a view in portal, some pictures in it, once mouse over one picture, it need change another picture replace old one. I don't know how to do it, just know it can be handled in HTML page. So, i need help.
