How to create a intro clip that plays automatically when DVD is inserted?

I am a pretty much a newbie to DVD studio pro and I am wondering how can I create an intro clip that will play when you insert a DVD created in DVD Studio Pro into a player? In iDVD it was fairly simple but in Pro I am getting a little stumped by it.

I am trying to insert an audio to a pdf that plays automatically plays when the pdf is opened (with Adobe). I am using Adobe Reader on a PC.
I could do it manually (Comments - Record Audio), but I cant get it to work automatically (i.e. without clicking on the audio symbol)
Is there anything I can do in the preferences I can do to change this?

You can turn mail off in the settings but then you can't use it for anything, including the "test" that you want to perform.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Account Name>Mail>Off. That totally turns off the mail account.
As long as mail is turned on and you launch the app, it will look for an download new mail.

How do I disable chat window that loads automatically when browsing

Every since I installed firefox when a new page loads when browsing the internet I get a 4" square blank chat box that opens in the right lower corner. I've tried disabling my chat on all programs and it doesn't solve the issue. I never have this problem when using chrome or internet explorer. I design web sites and like firefox the best for checking my pages after making changes. I would prefer to make firefox my default browser and delete chrome but this box opening is very annoying.

This sounds like the content in the new page may be not working correctly. You can try Safe Mode [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]] to see if there are any issues with the add ons or you can also try [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
What is the url of the new url feature in about:config?
The feature is browser.newtab.url.

Trying to create a movie clip that Bounces off four sides of the stage

using the syntax below I have created a movie clip called 'BALL' that bounces off from the left "x" and moves to the right side of the stage 'x.520' and bounces back to the start "x".

Here is a simplest way to do that. This code doesn't use your ball but draws it dynamically. If you want to use your ball instance - replace relevant lines.

How to create an intro similar to the Mary Tyler Moore Show

Hi Everyone,
This is literally my first attempt at working with After Effects. I was wondering how to create an intro similar to the text animation found in this Mary Tyler Moore Show intro video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1GC6yXZ4e4
I have been able to create a similar effect where the text is a yellow/green with the blue background, but I was wondering how to multiply the text as it appears in that youtube video and how it seemlessly spreads out of the center text. I've searched for youtube tutorials but haven't had any luck. Since I am unfamiliar with all of the terminology of after effects I felt perhaps I wasn't searching for the right term. I did look at the preset text animations but there weren't any that demonstrated what I had in mind. I need to figure this out soon because I'm putting together a video that needs to be completed in a few weeks.

Three text layers animated in 3D space, then a bunch of duplicates of the text with animated position. It's just layer order and a little work, not a plug-in. Drop that comp in another and use the text pre-comp as a track matte to reveal the video below. These are AE basic skills. Please go through the getting started materials or search Adobe TV for getting started with After Effects.

I am having trouble bouncing and creating an aiff file that plays back. I've checked my output settings, and although I am able to create MP3s, the aiffs are blank. The happens when I try to export a track as an aiff file - it's blank.

When bouncing, do you use the Key Command or the button on the Output Channel Strip? The Key Command only bounces from the Stereo Output. The bounce button bounces from the Channel Strip it is on. So if you want to bounce out outputs 3-4 or higher, don't use the key command, but the button.
The strange thing here is that Logic, when it bounces an MP3, first bounces an AIFF, which at the end of the bounce process is being converted to MP3, so I can't imagine how you can get a silent AIFF and a normal MP3.
How have you listened to those bounces? iTunes? Quicklook? Quicktime?

I didn't really have time to dig in and understand your program in depth,
but I have a few tips for you that might things a bit easier:
- You use local variables excessively which really complicates things. Try
not to use them and it will make your life easier.
- If you flowchart the design (very similar to a dataflow diagram, keep in
mind!) you want to gather data, calculate a value from that data, store the
calculation in an array, and loop while the time is in a certain range. So
theres really not much need for a sequence as long as you get rid of the
local variables (sequences also complicate things)
- You loop again if timepassed+1 is still less than some constant. Rather
than messing with locals it seems so much easier to use a shiftregister (if
absolutely necessary) or in this case base it upon the number of iterations
of the loop. In this case it looks like "time passed" is the same thing as
the number of loop iterations, but I didn't check closely. There's an i
terminal in your whileloop to read for the number of iterations.
- After having simplified your design by eliminating unnecessary sequence
and local variables, you should be able to draw out the labview diagram.
Don't try to use the "insert into array" vis since theres no need. Each
iteration of your loop calculates a number which goes into the next position
of the array right? Pass your result outside the loop, and enable indexing
on the terminal so Labview automatically generates the array for you. If
your calculation is a function of previous data, then use a shift register
to keep previous values around.
I wish you luck. Post again if you have any questions. Without a more
detailed understanding of your task at hand it's kind of hard to post actual
code suggestions for you.

How to create a standard report that allows filtering?

Hi Guys and Gals,
Sometimes, the standard report is great because it gives the user the feeling of a grid. i.e. All of the values are editable on one page, kind of like a spreadsheet. That is sometimes very useful. But if there is a lot of data, a filtering mechanism is necessary.
So will one of you Apex gurus please tell me how to create a standard report that also allows data filtering?
Allowing the user to specify the number of rows displayed would be peachy-keen too.

How to create an infinite loop that cannot be cancelled?

Hi , im new around java and i need a program that keeps on repeating after each each input/uses(generally meant for different user) and cannot either stop using "Cancel" or "x" while stopping only using the "stop" button
I got a few lines of codes that look like this : String arg = "";
