How we can create new entries for ' Support Team ' in solution manager Service desk . Please provide me your great suggestions , thanks

Hello Vivek,
I am assuming that you have created BP for users. In this case right click on position assign Owner(Business partner).
user under that BP is automatically recognized.
If you not created BP then you have to activate the integration between business partners and employees by setting the switch HRALX/PBPON to 'ON'
read the document available at spro>sap solman imp guide>CRM>Master data>Business Partner-->Integration bP-org mgmt->setup integration with org mgmt.
also read the blog in my previous post.

    You need to setup an ABAP communication client and system, that's done through the TMS settings:
    For source system:
    - CTC                                              1
    - CTS_SYSTEM_TYPE                          JAVA  (others for a MDM system)
    - NON_ABAP_SYSTEM                          1
    - COMMUNICATION_SYSTEM:              (SAPSID of the ABAP communication system (e.g. the domain controller))
    - NON_ABAP_WBO_CLIENT                    (Client of the ABAP stack on which the Transport Organizer Web UI (CTS_BROWSER) is activated and will run.)
    - WBO_GET_REQ_STRATEGY                 TAGGED
    - WBO_REL_REQ_STRATEGY                 MANUAL
    For quality and production Java system (target systems):
    - CTC                                              1
    - CTS_SYSTEM_TYPE                          JAVA (others for a MDM system)
    - NON_ABAP_SYSTEM                         1
    - COMMUNICATION_SYSTEM:                 (SAPSID of the ABAP communication system (e.g. the domain controller))
    - DEPLOY_WEB_SERVICE                       CTSDEPLOY
    - DEPLOY_DATA_SHARE:
    When this is done correctly, you will see the fields ABAP communication system and client populated in SMSY.
    When ChaRM needs to operate on the non ABAP systems, it will take the RFCs for the communication system and client.

    Hi CRM Gurus!,
      Even if this problem is present in my Solution Manager Service Desk I'm creating this thread here in CRM Forum because I thin'k I need the experience of one CRM Expert. Í´ve created this question in Solution Manager Forum also but I hadn´t solved my problem yet.
    We add the partner function called "Additional Partner", but I don't know why in the tab "Partners" in the CRM transaction we want to add a new partner but in the partners combo the new one does not appear in the list.
    The procedure that I did was: I created a new business partner function and I added this new function to my partner determination procedure, then in SPRO: "Define Partner Determination Procedures" -> I set the option "Only Functions Assigned in Procedure". 
    These are the values. fro my new function:
    Function: ZSLFN004
    Text: Additional Processor
    Abbrev.: ZAMS
    Function Cat.: 0008 Person Responsible
    Usage: CRM Customer Relationship Managem.
    Relatshp Cat: CRMH06 Is Responsible BP For
    The partner functions in my procedure are:
    00000001 Sold-To Party (CRM)
    00000046 Approved by (CRM)
    SLFN0001 System Administrator (CRM)
    SLFN0002 Reported by (CRM)
    SLFN0003 Support Team (CRM)
    SLFN0004 Message Processor (CRM)
    ZSLFN004 Additional Processor (CRM)
    But in the transactions when I try to add a new partner in the partners tab only the follow functions appears in the combo:
    00000001 Sold-To Party (CRM)
    00000046 Approved by (CRM)
    SLFN0001 System Administrator (CRM)
    SLFN0002 Reported by (CRM)
    SLFN0003 Support Team (CRM)
    SLFN0004 Message Processor (CRM)
    I don't know why my ZSLFN004 is not listed in the combo.
    By the way, my function was created as a copy of SLFN0004.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Vishant,
      Thanks for your answer, but some one in the Solution Manager forum gave me the answer few minutes ago :). The problem was that in some transaction types (I don't know wich ones or if it aplies to all) the category 0008 - Person Responsible can only appear once, my partner function was a copy of the function SLFN0004 - Message Processor and that function is defined with the category 0008, so I had 2 partner functions defined in the category 0008.
    To solve the problem I just adjust my Z function and put the category 0016 - Service Team and let the relationship empty. Then the partner function is now showing in the combo at partners tab.
    Again, thanks anyway for the time that you take to answer my question.

    It's a good idea, but currently it's not yet supported.
    In Work Center, there is no predefined (nor a hidden) link shipped by SAP to access the Solution Database for key users.
    With a future EhP for Solution Manager, you might get an integration of the Solution Database into the message processing Web UI.

  • How to create email to Support Team when NEW message created in SupportDesk

    Hi there,
    I have been sitting with this for a while now, and am quite frustrated. I want to know whether it is possible to generate an email notification to the Support Team in the Service Desk whenever a new message is created by the user. So far, the Org Structure is correctly set up in PPOMA_CRM. The rule CRM_DNO_1 (13200137) is configured and works. Application CRM_ORDER with Action Profile SLFN0001_ADVANCED is configured, and by standard config works by correctly determining the responsible Support Team per SAP Component whenever a new message is created. Lastly, I have configured my own Action Definition that sends an email to the user (Reported By) to notify him whenever the Status of the message changes (like to In Process or Confirmed etc), which works.
    Now, whenever a new message is created by a user in the satelite system, it gets created in Service Desk and the Reported By, Sold-to-Party and Support Team are determined and the status of the message is NEW. When looking at the message in Service Desk under Actions, the only action assigned so far is  the "SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER - Find support team responsible, when message is created" action. Now, the issue is this: how do you assign an action to the message straight after the Support Team determination, but before any other processing takes place in the message (meaning, you have to click on Change in Service Desk to start processing the message - when doing this, additional actions are assigned). I have created my own Action Definition (copy of SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER) and added another Processing Type after the Method Call (CRM_DNO_PARTNER_1) to email a Smartform (Processing Type = Smart Forms Mail) to the Support Team. But from here things just dont work - either it skips the Support Team determination, or it doesn't process the SmartForm type at all. Even by creating a standalone Action Definition and using Partner Determination / Function SLFN0003 (Support Team - almost same like to notify the Reported By about status changes to the message), this newly-defined action doesn't even list under Actions in the message whenever a new message is created. Only after clicking on Change in the message does this action for the first time list and execute, which is pointless - you don't want someone to open the message first and change it to enable notification of the Support Team of a new message; this should happen as soon as the message gets created.
    So, if there is anyone out there who has done this before, please help, it would be much appreciated.

    I managed to get this working in our system.
    This is what I did:
       - action ZSLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PRTNR (copy of SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER): changed in processing type the method to ZCRM_DNO_PARTNER_1 which I created as described in note 1041455. The Sort Order of this action has the same number as the original action of SAP (nr. 10 in my case).
       - I created another action Z_MAIL_TO_SUPPORTTEAM_OPEN with Sort Order one higher than the previous (nr. 11 in my case).
    Processing Time: When saving document
    Processing Times not permitted: No Restrictions
    Sort Order: 11
    Schedule Automatically
    Partner-Dependent: SLNF0003
    Determination Technology: Using Conditions that can be Transported
    Rule Type: Workflow Conditions
    Action Merging: Max. 1 Action for Each Action Definition
    Processing Type
                  -  Form Name: ZFORM
                  -  Processing Class: CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
                  -  Processing Method: CRM_SRVORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM
                  -  Archive Mode: Mail Only
    Then I configured a Schedule Condition for Z_MAIL_TO_SUPPORTTEAM_OPEN: &CRM Service Process.User Status& = E0001ZSMSD001.
    For me it's working like a ChaRM now

    after we confirm the message deletion from the table DNOD_NOTIF. but again when we go ot the message list and observe we still find the messages there.
    also how do we delete messages with status of 'External Processing' and the list only shows the messages which are outstanding the date.
    could you help me in resolving the same.

    Dear Avi,
    please be aware that crmd_order is no longer supported since crm2007 (6.00). That means EEWB is not the right tool to add customer fields because only WEBUI is supported. There you can use the AET tool to create own fields or tables via configuration.
    However please see note 1037748 where you get more information and help.

    Thanks for the heads up. I'd like to use the SSD for installing Windows 8. It seems to have about 25GB free. Isn't that a better place to install the OS? I am not sure why the bigger drive is marked as C: and the small, faster one as D: :-(

The installation was successful and I was able to start the instance (application server and the database), yet I don't know how to create a new connection from my SAPGUI client (7.20) to this server. The static IP address of the server is 192.168.1.160.
    I entered the following values for my new connection entry
    Description: SAP Netweaver
    Application server: 192.168.1.160
    Instance number: 01
    System ID: DB2
    SAProuter: /H/192.168.1.160/S/3201/H/
    But it does not work. Any idea about the values needed  for creating a new entry?
