What you have done is perfectly right. The password file doesn't have anything else apart from the password
for example in your case
$echo password > /tmp/password.txt
However I remember that in windows install, the Application server used to wait for a user's input when a deploy was to be done for the first time. So Can you read the Release notes or the Readme file which has come with windows.
The solution was,
manually use asadmin command of application server to deploy some war (any webapp will do), at this time, a question will be prompted to accept a certificate. once this is done, deploy portlet should work fine!!!

first create apple id
fill credit card details
and complete your account creating process.
than go to app store or itune store
login your acount
click right side - account button
than again login for account setting
next go to payment information and click edit button
when u enter payment infomation
click none button in payment method and click done button.
than ur credit card has been removed.
but rs. 60 will deducted in your account when u doing this process.

Hi, Our Environment:
Exchange 2007 SP3 CCR.
Now I want to create a new storage group with edb file and log files on the new drive.
My plan is as below:
Once we have new drive ready on both active node and passive node,
1): Create new storage group with log files for this new storage group on other new drive from Active Node.
2): Create new mailbox database under this newly created storage group with the DB file on the new drive from active node.
My question is:
1): Do I need to perform above steps from active node only? or Do I need to do it from both active node and passive node?
2): How many storage groups can we create on one Exchange 2007 Enterprise server, we already have 25 SGs in place.

Here are my answers you can refer to:
1. We can just create new storage group on the active node. And it’ll be replicated to the passive node.
We can use the following command in EMS to verify the new Storage Group is being replicated to the passive node:
Get-StorageGroupCopyStatus "Second Storage Group" | Select SummaryCopyStatus,CCRTargetNode

First, if you didn't create a password when you set up your account
Go to System Preferences - accounts
Click you account name and click change password
Leave old password blank (assuming you never entered a password initial creation)
Enter new password
confirm password
click change password
Next, click the lock and using an administrative account (if you only have one account, that's the administrative account), authenticate
Click Login Options
Uncheck Automatic Login
Restart your computer to make sure it works

How to set Blog password from .mac group?

I would like to publish my iWeb blog on my .mac group page. However, the username/password combination that is required for access to my blog via my .mac group is my main .mac username/password (which I don't want to share with anyone!). It should be the username/password combination that I created when I set up my .mac group (which is what it says it will be in the iWeb Site Inspector).
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

It is my understanding that if you want to access a page you have password protected, YOUR username/password will work AND the username/password that you set in Inspector. Did you try the other combination? I only know this because I tried accessing a password protected site that I made with my .mac username/password and it let me in. But it also let me in with the other combination. So you SHOULD be able to give the other username/password to friends to let them access the site.

I was wondering how do I create a single folder that contains all of my passwords (Banking ...etc) that only I have access to - I would like to password protect this foder and if possible have the information inside encripted.
I was looking into security vault - but I'm afraid it encripts all the folders on my Mac. I just want to create a single folder - everything else should be as it was.

Create a password-protected (encrypted) disk image
1. Open Disk Utility at /Applications/Utilities.
2. Images>New>Blank Image... or click the "New Image" button in the Toolbar.
• go to step 3
2a. To encrypt an existing folder..
• Go to...Images>New>Image from Folder.
• In the dialog window, select the folder and press "Open"
3. Type and/or select from popup window .....
• Name • location • Format
• Size (no size option for folder)
• Encryption .....AES-128 must be selected

I've acquired a Mac Plus in good working condition, but it's just standalone. Eventually I want to network it, but for right now, is there a way to use my Mac Mini or a PC to create 800k disks for the Mac Plus? Things like OS upgrades and other software are available out on the net, but I can't get them to the Plus. I've tried a USB floppy disk drive on the Mini, but it only works with HD diskettes.

If you can find a Macintosh 800K (M131) floppy drive, great. Then you also have the problem of finding double density floppy disks ( high density disks with tape over the hole are not reliable in the older drives.)

I remember buying an 800k floppy drive new in 1986 for several hundred Dollars. The external CD-ROM drives sold for $300.
It will probably be much easier to find an Apple 300 or 600i CD-ROM drive that should read CDs burned in your modern Mac. Your original question was about floppies. The real question is "How do I get data from a new computer to an old computer." That question offers more possibilities. I am suggesting a better and cheaper alternative. Having fun with older equipment requires purchasing intermediate equipment.

Basically this is a backup of my other old PC which I saved on a time machine external hard disk and now I want to create it as a new separate partition which I can log into to as opposed to continuous to connected to it via USB.

Thanks for the that great tip.
In that time machine back up I have some applications for e.g. MS office etc and I wanted it to be like a virtual machine as such that I launch when I want to use the applications, see my data etc....I have bought parallels as that allows you to have multiple virtual machines on your laptop whether these are multiple mac images as time machine backups or linux, Microsoft Windows 7, 8 etc....
Thats what I eventually want to do here...
This feature that you provided is also of good reference for me in future.

I don't think that FileXtra was ever updated to Director 11, so the mac version will not work. And the PC version may well have problems. You'll need to use another xtra that has been updated, like for example, BuddyAPI.
