How to create a photo wheel

I want to create a wheel of 8 photos with a 9th photo in the centre.  I have selected and edited the photos in iphoto but don't know how to proceed.  Can anybody help?  Is there an app I could use?  I've tried using charts in Excel, Word and Powerpoint but haven't been able to format the photos for the segments.

iMovie is to edit movies; creating a slideshow is easier in iPhoto. When finished, you can then move it to iMovie or iDVD to create a cool menu/theme and burn it.
Here is a link to Apple support - I searched for "how to create a slideshow in iPhoto":

A much better alternative would be Photo to Movie (not free) - it does everything you want:

  • How to create new photo albums

i've had my iphone 4 for about a week now...and i'm new to this discussion board so i apologize if this topic has been discussed before.
i have looked at everything i possibly can on my phone and in the users manual. i can't figure out how to create a new photo album!
    help!!!

    thanks for your reply!
i actually just did that, shortly after i posted my question, i thought i would try it while waiting for a response.
i sync'ed the photos to my computer. created my folders and put those pictures in them. then resync'ed my phone in itunes and chose the various folders to sync. but the "folders" did not sync back to my phone. everything is still in 'camera roll'.
i just want the pics in folders on my phone so i can find pictures easier!
why are there all those spaces under camera roll if it won't let u have more than one folder!? i'm so frustrated! do i have to purchase iphoto or something?

  • How to create a photo slideshow in my movie

    Hello all,
Im woking on my first movie with Premier Elements 12 and I can not figure out how to include a slideshow of pictures at the end of my movie.
Of course I can drag the photos on the timeline and use trancients in between but there is nothing I can do with the picture like editting/cut parts off, make them black/white and use movement effects for example.
Isnt this an option/included in Premiere lements 12 ?
I just bought the software but also played around with the trial of Cyberlink Powerdirector which has this handy magic function to select all pictures at once and create different/random trancirents and effects and pictures could be editted also.
This is what Im after but I can not find how to do this stuff in Premiere lements 12.
Hope someone can help me out.
    Thatnks in advance

    AlexSan
Do you have Photoshop Elements 12 as well as Premiere Elements 12?
What is this "movie" that the photo slideshow is going to be at the end of? A video? If so, what are the
properties of that video...video and audio compressions, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, file extension, pixel aspect ratio?
What is your intended final product...DVD-VIDEO standard or widescreen on DVD disc, AVCHD on DVD disc, or Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc?
With the above information, I will suggest some approaches that you might want to look into.
    Thanks.

  • How to create NEW photo albums in Photo tab

I managed to sync 56 pics from a folder on my PC and then when trying to upload another file with 60 pics the process will overwrite the previous 56 pics.
Any help for how to pre-create a new album to avoid this problem?
    Thanks to the forum

Thank you, red! This sounds like it should work. I'm assuming that it doesn't matter where I put that folder as long as I check it in iTunes for syncing. I do have a few questions:
    1) Where do I find the camera roll folder on my computer? I've never been able to find it, the one time I copyied some pictures from the phone to the computer I just went in to the phone as an external drive through My Computer. Do I have to do that or are they in my iTunes folder somewhere?
    2) Once I do this, will the pictures be on the phone twice, as in once in the camera roll and once in the folders, or will they just be in the folders? If the pictures are on the phone twice, can I delete them from the camera roll and still have them remain in their new folders?
    3) Will new pictures and videos that I take still go to the camera roll?
    4) Will the resolution still be the same once transferred from the phone to the computer, put in the sub-folders, then synced back to the phone?
While this is a work around, am I the only one who thinks this is really stupid? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this phone for everything that it can do, but something as simple as creating folders on the phone shouldn't be this complicated! Just looking in the Photos app, there is space under the camera roll like it was intended for there to be more folders in there. I wonder if we are eventually going to get an iPhoto app like the iMovies app we got when the phone was released. Now that would be great! Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll have to do this when I get home!

  • How to create New Photo Album?

The pictures I take with my camera and the ones I download online are all saved on Camera Roll.
How do I create a New Photo Album?

Photos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. Import the photos with your computer and create an albums or albums for select photos and the same with any other photos on your computer followed by transferring the album or albums to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process. This is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. You cannot create photo albums on the iPhone.

  • How to create a photo preview album DVD in DVDStudio Pro ?

    Hi,
How can i create a DVD still image ( Photo ) preview with DVDStudio Pro ? The preview should allow the viewer to go back and forth between images in addition to pause and go back to index gallery with the remote control. The final result should be something like a Flash or HTML web image gallery created by LightRoom ( sorry for the F word in APPLE space ). It will be used by elderly users that are not computer saavy but need to proof / preview still photography sessions.
If DVDStudio Pro is not the tool for this, could you recommand a Mac application for this.

  • How to create a Photo slideshow to the beat of the Music?

How do I create an upbeat slideshow where each picture changes right at the beat of the music?   I know how to add markers and insert my photos one my one, but is there an easier more effective way to do this?  It is very difficult to try to just listen to the music and guess where the beats are, I wish there was a sure way to know where the beat of the music is.  Once you even have all the markers placed, is there a way to insert all the photos at once right where the markers are?  I have been researching and trying to do this for the past few days, and feel like there must be a better way to do it.  Any advice would be appreciated.

  • How to create a Photo Layer?

I am using the photoshop elements free trial on 13... I have watched a video on youtube on how to make wooden frames. Well when I get the wooden frames made I then use the earse to make the back ground go away and so I can drag and add picture. Well I then drag my pic and it doesn't fit into the framed area? On the mans video he had what was called a Ultimate something toolkit and it was located like where the backgrounds, frames etc was.. and there were all kinds to pick from and one was create photo layer? Can anyone please help? Also, one more thing... I tried the PSE 13 due to I was told it had the blue riddon on some backgrounds why don't they have very many graphics to pick from? My PSE 7 and 9 had a lot! Well thanks for your time hope someone can help me out
    Have a blessed day,
    Heather

Using stencil luma is a great way of creating mattes... except for one thing: it "punches" a whole all the way though every layer (whether something is placed beneath the storyline or not.)
Make a compound clip of your matte shape and storyline clip and place a Solid Color or some other clip beneath the storyline to create a "fill" for the "masked" areas.
The blend modes applied stay "contained" within compounds.
