Go to T-Codes FBKP (General for all )/ OBXR (for Customers) OBYR (for Vendors) for creating your own special GL indicator
Lets Come to FBKP
In FBKP there will be a selection box where you can select Automatic postings , Special GL Posting Keys etc... and can create the customised one as you require
In case of Special GL Indicator Click on create ikon and Select the account type ( Vendor - k Customer -D , Asset - A Material - M etc .. ) Give special G L indicator , indicator name & Description

I have a Linux machine now, and originally, I had no problems to create French special characters while simply typing the key combintation of alt+<ASCII-number> on Windows. The special characters were displayed both in any text document and in Skype's chat text field. Now on Linux, this does not work, nor can I display special characters by trying it by making use of the Linux way - that is by hitting ctrl, shift, u and then e. g. 00e7 for a small "cédille". Is there any workaround for this in Linux?

I tested Skype for Ubuntu and it works. Here's how I did it:I pressed Ctrl+Shift+u (an underline u should appear)Then I typed 00e7 and I got underlined u00e7Finally, I pressed Enter after that u00e7 was converted to çThere is how I typed "cédille": ps. How to create a special effect for 'wipe' and 'wheel'

New to Captivate. Recently purchased Captivate 7. I'm trying to obtain an object 'add effect' similar to the "wipe" (from left) and the "wheel" animation effects found in PowerPoint. I want to simulate hand-drawing an emphasis line under text. I have a .png graphic of a hand-drawn red line (transparent background) that I'd like to appear by "wiping" from left to right. The "stretch" effect (from left to right) found in Captivate's "Add Effect" doesn't look right; it's obviously a 'stretch' instead of a 'wipe'. Likewise, I would like to hand-draw a circle or oval around certain text or other objects to draw attention to these items. The "wheel" animation in PowerPoint works perfectly for this.
Is there a way to do this in Captivate? Maybe some variation of one of the built-in effects that I've missed? Camtasia Studio has "sketch motion graphics" built in - which also does this nicely.

Thanks for the info on Infosemantics and their widgets. As a Newbie I wasn't aware of them and their cool, useful products. However, after going through all the tutorials I couldn't figure out how the 'slider' widget would serve my need to simulate a hand-drawn line, from left to right, under text on a Captivate 7 slide. Yes, it can be used to animate (or move) any object, but not to "reveal" an object like the "wipe" animation in other programs.
I'm thinking now that it would be easier to just build an animated GIF or a small flash file to show a hand-drawn red line moving from left to right. I have Flash CS4 but have never used it. Something else new to learn.

Regarding special GL indicator

I am facing a peculiar problem regarding special GL indicator. I am in to the FBKP transaction which shows me the list of special GL with the fields as special GL indicator and account type.
In this screen I donot find the special G/L indicator M for account type K. When I am trying top create the same in system I get a message that special GL indicator M already exists for account type k.
Requesting you to please help me out for thsi how to create the special GL indicator M for account type K.

In FBKP itself you can delete existing M special gl indicator and create same , but that possible only it should not assign any gl and used.

Down payment request and special GL indicator

Hi SAP Experts,
From several days I'm looking for an explanation of standard down payment process in SAP:
When we create down payment request for customer, billing type FAZ, corresponding FI document is created with special GL indicator "F".
Does somebody know what is the configuration for that? How the system determines that for FAZ billing type it should create special GL indicator "F"?

You get the same in editable mode only in Dev Client. You can change it to advance to work and through request if in the same landscape through t.code scc1 you get it else in different landscape need to release the request then with the help of your basis team you need to transport the same to production client.
Ensure the following:
In FBKP/OBXT for the specific Spl GL Indicator in Vendor (K)
Double click and ensure the Recon Account and Spl GL Account (Advance A/c)
Under Properties tab ensure for the account type K for the relevant spl gl indicator under properties commitments warning is ticked and under spl gl transaction types Down Payment / down payment request is selected and
posting key 29 is defined for Debit and posting key 39 is defined for Credit

Moving Stock Directly to a Fixed Bin using a Special Movement Indicator

I am trying to set up moving stocks directly to fixed bin using special movement indicator.
Found the below in SAP documentation:

Each time a goods receipt is posted for material ABC, you want to move the material directly to storage bin FIX-ABC in storage type 005 of warehouse number 001 without creating a transfer requirement or transfer order. To do this, you need to set up the system as follows:
1. Create the fixed bin FIX-ABC in storage type 005 that is defined in the standard system using the fixed bin search strategy.
2. Create a special movement indicator for your warehouse number.
3. Add the special movement indicator and the fixed bin FIX-ABC to the material master for material ABC.
4. Create a new WM movement type to move materials directly into fixed bins without creating transfer orders or transfer requirements.
5. In the reference movement type table, create a new entry that links an appropriate IM movement type to the new movement type using the special movement indicator.

I have completed the steps 1 to 4. I am not sure of step 5 in IMG. Can some one please give me the menupath and guide me?

You can go to LE-WM-interfaces-Inventory management-Define movement types-
a) Assign WM Movement Type References to IM Movement Types - here you can assign your IM mvt to WM mvt
b) then LE-WM Interface to Inventory Management - here you can assign the ref movement type assigned in 1 above to the actual WM movement type you want to carry out and you can assign your special movement indicator here as well.
So this will be
<WH No.> <ref. mvt say 101> <mvt indicator say B ( for PO)> <spl mvt indicator that you have created> <Wm mvt type> <TR creation - X or A > <Immediate To creation X or A >

CHECK: BSEG-UMSKZ <> 'G'
ERROR MESSAGE: Document class not allowed
But unfortunately the system shows a Syntax Error for the Check Statement.
I have tried to update table GB01 like this:
Class: 009, Type: B, Table: BSEG, Class field: UMSKZ, Exclude: <blank>
so as the system let me write that check statement, but the result has been the same.

Did you maintain the indiv/ coll indicator as 2 after the creation of planned order / production order? If yes, then re-create the order & then check.
If not, then check in BOM Item details if you have maintained them to be as individual.
Check & revert.

OSS note 668764 explains that the special stock indicator field is a display only field and cannot be changed in the source list. it is only taken over from a scheduling agreement.

This does not make sense. How can a view be a NUMBER(5) and the actual column a NUMBER(12)?
What happens if there is a 10 or 12 digit number in the table? Just what is the view suppose to do? Crash and burn? Where is the logic in that?!
If the table's column has an incorrect precision and size, THEN FIX IT!! Do not hack it with view!
It is silly purposefully building constructs into the database that can easily result in run-time errors.
