How to create a table which have always only one entry inside it?

Hi Experts,
Is it possible to create a table in data dictionary which have always only one entry inside it. If we insert another entry, then it should throw an error.

if you want to maintain only one data in that ... then
first time for making one data entry in the Delivery & maintaince tabstrip in the table have an option Display /maintaince Allowed ...
after that
change it to Display/maintianance allowed Restrictions . ... so that table will not allow to insert the entries .

How to create an iBOT which contains more than one dashboard page

Hi,
I want to create an iBOT which delivers the content in HTML or PDF format, but to contain more than one dashboard page. The idea is that I have several dashboards and I want to send by e-mail (by iBOT) most important pages from different dashboards.
Is it possible to send by a single e-mail different pages from different dashboards? I cannot find an way to accomplish this in the content of delivery in iBOT.

Yes, I can add them to a briefing book, but the clients that will receive it by e-mail should have the briefing book reader in order to view the contents. Is there any way to send the briefing book in a PDF format?

How to visually (!) remove "sequence" frame with only one activity inside?

Due to previous manipulations it could happen, that there are sequences (=visual sequences frame)
which contain only one activity.
These sequence frames are needless.
Ok, I could remove them directly in source code.
But is there a way to remove them visually WITHOUT removing then inner activity as well?

If I would have to do that, I will drag the activity outside the sequence and delete the sequence.

Hi, I don't think I'm totally sure what you want, but one work around for making a 2d image 3d is to make it a 3d layer in after effects and then duplicate it a lot of times, offsetting the copies in z-depth, so that it builds up and extruded look.
Alternatively, if you have CS6, and the logo as a vector, you can copy the path from illustrator, and paste it into after effects as a mask. You can then copy the mask path into a shape layer, switch the AE renderer from classic to ray-traced, then use the geometry options on the layer to extrude it in 3d. If you dont have CS6, I've also used the repeater effect in shape layers to again make many duplicates of the same shape which will make a sort of 'fake' 3d extrusion.
Also I think photoshop and illustrator both have rudimentary 3D extrusion options, but I've never really used them. I would hedge bets that after effects does it better, and I also use cinema 4d which would beat after effects!

I thought I would be able to put a table in the header but it didn't work.

Program your master sheet with representative data in the cells that you would like to have repeated in the slave sheets.
Prepare a typical slave sheet, with a table programmed to reference the key cells in the master sheet.
Name the slave sheet "Template", or other distinctive name that you will recognize and keep otherwise empty and as a template for new sheets.
When you need a new sheet, Click on the Sheet icon of Template sheet. Then Command-C, Command-V, and rename "Template-1" to identify it as a working sheet.

Create the interface attributes of type string and xtring type.
Create node in the context of type graphics. bind the interface fields to the graphic node context element properties -
Graphic content, field of xzstring type and mimetype to be string/any char data type of suitable length.
In layout drag and drop the image field and bind it to the graphic element.

1) show alv table
2) close alv table
if user selects show alv table then the alv table should be displayed.

to create alv table dynamically i have followed this procedure.
under view properties i have added salv_wd_table component. then under the action of showalvbutton i went to code wizard and i have selected instantiate used component component use salv_wd_table. the following code will be generated
with this code i am unable to display alv table dynamically correct me where i went wrong kindly send me the necessary steps how to create alv table dynamically

ALV table will be shown in the viewcontainerUI element.
it is shown there empty if you dont fill the node bound to the data node of the interface controller of the comp usage
SALV_WD_TABLE.
and if you are not getting the table filled in the first place.
then check have you mapped the DATA node to some node in the comp controller
wht basically is your requirment is that you want to show ALV gird on click of one button and delete it on click of other button.
there are many ways to do so.
best way is control the visiblity of the viewcontainer UI element which containes the TABLE view of SALV_WD_table comp.
create an attribute of type WDUI_VISIBILITY name say VIS.
now go to the layout and bound hte visible property of the viewcontainer to this attribute VIS.
then in the showalv grid button's eventhandler write
wd_context->set_attribute(
name = 'VIS'
value = '02'
and in the wddoinit and delete alv grid button's event handler write
wd_context->set_attribute(
name = 'VIS'
value = '01'

after that we need to update the colums with personal details......like name1,name2,address,city,zip...etc.
using the RFC we need to update the personal details coulums (either select query or Insert command)

1. In the initial screen of the ABAP Dictionary select object type Table, enter a table name and choose Create.
The field maintenance screen for the table is displayed. Table type Transparent table is set as default.
2. Make the necessary entries in the Short description and Delivery class fields on the Attributes tab page. Then define the fields of the table.
Proceed as when creating a transparent table. Save your entries.
3. Choose Extras ® Change table category.
A dialog box appears in which you have to select the table type Pooled table or Cluster table.
4. Choose Select.
You return to the field maintenance screen for the table. Field Pool/cluster name is displayed on the Attributes tab page in addition to the standard fields.
5. Enter the name of the table pool or table cluster to which you want to assign the pooled table or cluster table in field Pool/cluster name
Note that the total key length of a pooled table may not exceed the key length of the associated table pool. The key of a cluster table must correspond to the key of the associated table cluster.
6. Proceed as when creating a transparent table (see Creating Tables). Remember that you cannot create indexes for pooled or cluster tables.
All the attributes of the technical settings can be maintained for pooled tables and cluster tables. Before you can access these attributes, however, you must convert the table to a transparent table.

It is just necessary overhead. Please explain why you (apparently) believe that the suggestion of a view will not meet your requirements.

I need some help how to create a table. First I have created a datasource but even in that step I had problems with the user and password. Mr. Roman told me to try 'app' or 'travel' it works with travel but I have to enter a validation table I choose the validation table from the travel datasource, now I have all the tables of the travel datasource in my datasource.
