How to create a text tag that shows up in a file but not on the sceen.

I need some help, I'm a newbie with enough skill to be dangerous. If someone can point me in the right direction has to how to use the F keys to apply the tagging mentioned below and the direction of how to do the tagging and make the tag invisible
in a text editor but not the text file. That would be great. If you wish to show some code examples that's OK, but if not I can stumble through and learn while doing it from your directions on how to get it done.
I will start with an example of what I'm trying to do; using the old desktop pub program Ventura. They had (what I'm calling a tag) tags in from of ASCII text in a file to tell the program what it was and what to do with it, I. E.; "Title@this
is the title text" the next line could be "Body@this is body text". When loaded the "Title@" would not be there on the screen.
I'm trying to create some text that uses a similar concept but not for formatting of text like Ventura.
I want to be able to highlight some text in an editor and then have it place some sort of tag for the highlighted text so that I could use it to do something upon that text and only that text; in concept the text "Bob Brush was a painter." I would
highlight Bob Brush and somehow assign a tag that would be "name" and then highlight "painter" and be tagged with "job".
The text file would then have something in it to distinguish "Bob Brush" and "painter" as what each is name and job. (as a note I'm not trying to make a database or form just using this simplified concept to get my idea across
because I get to wordy).

It is unclear to me. Like you mentioned F keys, how does it work for? And Could you show us some code with a simple sample or a capture? It could be better to help us understand more.

The purchase history on your iTunes account will only show purchases from the iTunes stores (iTunes, app store, ibookstore, Mac app store), not from Apple online or bricks-and-mortar stores.
Does anything show on your credit card ? If the email is genuine then it's possible that your and their email addresses are similar and that they gave the wrong id (or the store typed it incorrectly), it doesn't necessarily mean that anybody has access to your account.

we have an EP6 SPS19 with many reports coming from a BW system. Now we migrate the BW from 3.5 to NW2004s (7.0) to use integrated planning. We also implemented the BI Java which is required for planning. Now I wonder how to create iViews on our EP6 system which points to these kind of reports. Which kind of iView do I need? Do I have to create a system object for the BI Java instance? A system object that points to the ABAP instance is already there, because we already have many iViews to reports from the ABAP stack.
I would appreciate if one points me to a good documentation.

Hi Uwe,
If you have designed the templates in Web Application Designer then you can publish the template to the portal. You would get an url pointing to the template in the portal. You can then create an "URL iView" in the portal pointing to the url.
You can also create Bex Application iViews from the published templates.
You would not need to create a new "System" object if there is already one pointing to the BI ABAP system.

If you purchased the apps from either the app store on your phone, or the app store that's part of itunes, make sure that you have selected "automatically sync new apps" in the apps pane of your sync window.
You can also go into your app store on your phone and select the purchased button (under updates)...if you are running the latest software) and get them on your phone that way if you are unable to do a sync now.

How are there files, on my USB drive, that show up on a PC but not on my macbook?

I have a usb drive containing several files. When I insert it into a pc, all the files are displayed. When I insert it into my macbook, only some of the files are there. Why is this? How can I set it so that all files are visible? I want to delete files. But, I can't delete files that I can't see.

Yeah, it piosses me to no end too. And haven't been able to disable indexing and general crap-filling of FAT32/ExFAT volumes by the OS. So, I use the following shellscript on Terrminal to purge the stuff before ejecting the stick:

I'm trying to create a "Revised On" date field that can be shown on every slide. Or, do I just have to copy and paste on all slides?

use the master slides
view > show master slides
click on the master slide that has a tick mark
add a text box to master slide and any other objects that you want on every slide; enter text, then position, size and set colour
click on the normal slide and add other content that is to be seen on that slide only
adding new slides will use the background design

I created a custom ringtone that shows up as a ringtone but isn't on phone!

I created a custom ringtone, 22 seconds. All went well - it appears as a ringtone in my itunes music, and in itunes, under my phone (3g), as a ringtone. After several attempts at syncing (have never had a problem syncying anything), it does not appear under settings, general, sounds, ringtones. Can anyone help?

I think i've found the answer
In "music" my ringtones had also been added but with a "!" next to the ringtone. When you click on this the message reads something like "cant find location"
If you delete all the ringtones in "music" (the ringtones in "ringtones" don't get deleted") then sycn the phone then all my ringtones transfered to my Iphone

How do I create a text field that can be manipulated by the user?

I have created a form that will be changed by the user from month to month. In this form they may have the need to make some of the font bold.
The text fields that will end up being bold will not be the same every time so I can't format the field to be bold.
Is there any way to allow the user to be able to choose whether a text field is bold or not?

Thanks GKaiseril. When I do that and go to preview the form I see where the properties are listed as an option, but they are in light gray so I can't select them. Any idea why this is happening?

Wondering how to create a text box with variables...

I was wondering how to create a text box, that at the beginning of the presentation, the audience fills in regarding what they think constitutes the role they have been chosen for.
I would like that same box to then appear at the end of the presentation, with the text they typed in at the beginning, so they can reflect on what they think now, and what they thought then. I understand this is done using variables, but i'm not 100% sure.

This screenshot shows the properties panel, Style tab for the TEB. I relabeled it to My_TEB, used the X button to create a user variable v_choice that will replace the generic Text_Entry_Box_1/
This is the properties panel of a Shape, I went in Edit mode (double clicking)to make the Character section appear, where you find the X button. It opens the dialog box 'Insert Variable' and you can choose the var associated with the TEB. The Maximum Length will define how many characters will be displayed, the value of a variable has maximum 256 characters.
