Go to OX02 and create a company code by copying the standard company code 0001 / 1000
Then go to OX10 and create a plant by copying the standard plant 0001 / 1000
OX09 - maintain storage loaction for the created plant
OX08 - create purchase org copying from standrard 0001 / 1000
Go to OX18 and assign your plant to company code
OX17 assign purchase org to plant
In order to get the tcode go to SPRO and in the top menu click on additional informations - additional information - display key - IMG activity.
After you select this then in the SPRO you have a column additional information comes up. each and every activity in SPRO will have and additional informatiom, in the additional information the last 4 characters is tcode.
Eg : SIMG_CFMENUSAPCOX02 this is the additional information for CC. the last 4 characters OX02 is the tcode

Dear all,
I would like to create a print program batch job on the following scenario with the use of RSNAST00.
We have created an output type in which when it is triggered by backflush (i.e. GI-261) via IW41 transaction, a PO will be created automatically in the background from this output type.
Now for testing purpose, we would like to use to use program RSNAST00 to schedule the creation or triggering of this output.
May I know how to do this?
I know in VF04, I can click the variant,HOWEVER in IW41, the menu does not allow variant creation?
Without variant creation, I cannot go to SM36 to create a batch job.

Therefore I want to determine a abap-report to be executed every X-Hours.
Do you have some sample code for creating a batch job?
I need to do it in abap because I want to create a TN to trigger the code creating the job.

Hi,
There are two cases
1) to raise an event after the completion of a job
This can be done by using ABAP coding, trigger the event using a program by the 'RAISE' statement. The job can be scheduled to run in the background daily or weekly(or anything as per the requirements)
2) to run a job after an event
in the start condition of the job, give the event name which should trigger that job in the after event field.
or if you want to run multiple jobs after one event completes, give that event in the start condition of all the jobs.. or model a process chain which will run this jobs..

How to create a background job in CE and assign a Web Service to it?

We have a specific requirement here.
We have an application service which perform some updates based on timestamp etc, it will be exposed as a Web Service.
The requirement here is that a background job should invoke this Web Service everyday at Midnight.
But here I don't know how to implement this functionality in SAP CE 7.1.

Create a class and extend MDBJobImplementation override the method onJob in this method trigger your webservice.

I decided this didn't sound too tough so I played around with it a little. Basically because I'd never tried executing external processes out of java before, so I wanted to see how it was done.
Just change whatever you like in the jobs ArrayList and call writeJobs.
If you call writeJobs without putting anything in the list first you'll wipe out all of your crontab entries.

How to create a discrete job on condition that build-in-wip attribute is No.

two or three times a year, jobs are created in the Discrete Job form although build in wip attribute is No. (never created from MRP)
i have no idea how the job could be created... i tried several times at same condition, but i couldn't.

How to create multiple WIP jobs from a single Sales Order Line

I want to know if there's a standard way to create multiple single unit wip jobs from a sales order line which has 2 or more units, i mean...
I have a sales order line with item A with 3 units. If I progress the sales order, a single job is automatically created in WIP with 3 units to be created. What i want is to create 3 jobs with one unit each, all of them linked to the sales line order...

Assuming simplest of scenarios....
In case of changes to Sales order qty, an unplanned order will simply disappear.
If a wip job has already been created, you will get a cancel message (in case the job is not needed) or a reschedule out message (if the quantity needs to be reduced).
ASCP will give you a reschedule in /out message if the dates change.
