How to create a webservice with axis specific WSDL

Hi all
I want to know if anybosy can provide with me any documentation or information link from where i can find the way how to deploy webservices using axis specific WSDL(i mean WSDL is created using axis jars) on to the application server like Weblogic.
I would like to know the following
1 - How to create the web.xml
2- How to create the deployment descriptor.
3- How to pack the EAR or WAR file.

You can't as File is nor serializable. It won't make sense as you would try to give a handle to a file on the server hosting the service to a remote system.
Can you explain the use case in more detail?

Hello,
You cannot create a Web Service for an ABAP program/transaction directly. You have to move the logic into an RFC. Only RFC, BAPI & Business Object can be converted to Web Service using the Wizard.

How to create Jaas Login module !! Urgent

I want to make some changes in logon messages. Right now we are getting only error user authentication failed on the portal even if user is locked or some other reason is there for failed authentiaction. I want proper message should be displaying based on user input. For it I hope its good to create Jaas logon module so that i can modify it accordingly .

I'm not exactly sure what your problem is.
A description on how to call web services can be found in my blog:

If you are facing an issue with what is displayed in the data view for the WSDL data connection (i.e you are missing nodes) you could try to use Designer 8.0 instead since it cotains bug fixes in that area.

I have a class Letter and I am trying to expose viewReport as webservice.
In Jdeveloper -> Business teir -> webservices -> Java web service and I have selected my method i.e. viewReport
Now it throws error "The return type java.io.File of method viewReport can not be serialized into XML"
I unserstood the issue but How can I achive this in JDeveloper

How to create timed events in java? Urgent for student project

Hi all, its my first post so forgive me if it doesn't follow the normal standards!
I'm doing a project which involves creating a game where things appear and disappear on the screen by calling up the relevant methods. Its one step away from being complete but the only problem is that I don't know how to make it so that all the appearing and disappearing happens automatically (via a timer that also terminates the game after 30 seconds of play).
For the moment, I've programmed it so that every time i click on a button, the relevant actions occur.
Please could someone help- I'd remember you forever! I've looked everywhere but i can't find anything.

thank you so much hunter9000 for that quick response. Only, I'm really dumb! I haven't been using Java for long and that thread is confusing for me.
I need a knight in shining armour to save my day by creating the variables and methods i need so that I can copy and paste it into my work. The timer needs to be called after clicking on the:
startGame(); button which then calls the doAnimation(); method
every 3 or 4 seconds which does all the things i need. It then needs to terminate stop the game after 30 seconds by calling:
endGame();
after which it resets itself and only redoes it once the user clicks on startGame() again.
PLEASE HELP!
