How to create Agreement Configuration and deploy it
Hi All,
Through self-service API's we are able to create the agrement. How to I create the configuration for the same and deploy it using java/pl-sql code ... any sample code and example file...???

You can use self-service API to deploy configuration using a JAVA program or command line. To use it in the command line-
1. java oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.selfservice.TradingPartnerManager --- creates the Trading Partner profiles from the specified XML file
2. java oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.selfservice.AgreementManager creates agreements from the specified XML file
To use it in the JAVA -

Here are Simple steps,
In the NWDS
1) create J2EE -> Web Module Project (XYZ)
2) create/add your JSP pages to the project
3) Right click on your project root and click on 'Build Web Archive' from the context
3) create J2EE -> Enterprise Application project(EAR)
4) Right click on your Web Module Project root and click on 'Add to EAR Project' from the context, select the EAR you just created in step 3.
5)Right click on your EAR project root and click on 'Build WebApplication Archive' from the context
6)Expand the EAR project node, and right click on the *.ear file, click on 'Deploy to J2EE Engine'.
7)Enter your SDM password when prompted,
You can access you JSP at this url
http://server:port/xyz/a.jsp

How to configure and deploy OAM 11g with DB setup using silent mode
Hello all,
I am trying to create automation process to install and configure OAM 11g on WLS. This task involves three stages
1. Install WLS
2. Install OAM 11g
3. Create DB schema using RCU
4. Configure and deploy OAM 11g
I have done first 3 stages in silent mode using scripts and response files. I am stuck at 4th stage. I know how to configure and deploy OAM 11g using config.sh via GUI installer as well as console mode. But I would like to run config.sh in silent mode something like
./config.sh -mode=silent -silent_script=<script_location>
I have searched a lot, but could not find any resource on how to do it? I tried passing the parameters via a text file. But that has not worked. I have also explored WLST, but it also does not work. Given that first 3 things are relatively very simple, the 4th step is becoming complex. I would be very thankful if someone can please point me in the right direction.

Please fallow the below steps to create the custom infotype. If you have any quires let me know.
For Creation of Infotype first Go to Transaction PM01, Enter the custom Infotype number which you want to create, it should be a 4 digit number and have to start with 9xxx.
then select the `Employee Infotype' radio button
after that select the `PS Structure Infotype'
then click on Create A separate table maintenance window appears
then Create a PS structure with all the fields you want on the infotype
Save and Activate the PS structure
now Go back to the initial screen of PM01
Click on `All' push button. It takes a few moments
Click on `Technical Characteristics. Infotype list screen appears
Click on `Change'(pencil) button
Now select your Infotype and click on `Detail' (magnifying glass) button
Give `T591A' as subtype table & also Give `T591S' as subtype txt tab
Give your subtype field as subtype field & Save and come back to PM01 initial screen
Click on `Infotype Characteristics' Infotype list screen appears
Click on `Change' (pencil) button & on New Entries
and then Enter your Infotype number and short text Here we have to set different Infotype Characteristics as per the requirement. (Better open another session with some standard Infotype's infotype characteristics screen and use as the reference
to fill yours). Now save ur entries
Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.
If you want to change the layout of the Infotype as per your
requirement
In the PM01 initial screen Select `Screen' radio button and give
2000 as the screen name, then click on edit.
In the next screen.. Select `Layout Editor' and click `Change'.
Screen default layout appears here you can design/modify the
screen..change the attributes of the fields..etc.
Save and activate. (Don't forget to `Activate at every level)

Best practice for .war? Configure and deploy or deploy and configure?
In Apache Tomcat for example, I can deploy an app, stop the server, reconfigure the app in situ, then start the server again...
Is this recommended for deploying Java web apps to Oracle App Server 10g?
We currently have a consulting firm that is recommending to configure the web app before deploying. Sounds reasonable, except that they want this done via JDeveloper so that the Sys Admin can right click on the "deploy to OAS" button (ie: have the tools generate the .war file after configuration and deploy automagically).Thanks for your feedback.
Are you aware of any way to use the *.deploy configuration file that is created by JDeveloper in an ANT script to create the .war or .ear file?
If not, I can picture the Sys Admin and developers groaning when they're told that they're JDeveloper web-app configuration cannot be used for production -- and that they must somehow duplicate that functionality in an ANT script!
I do have the below ANT scripts from Debu to do the deployment etc. But they only help after the .ear is built.

Eg: Ford car.If a sale order is raised for fiesta lxi model the system should choose red colour & for vxi blue colour respectively.
ie you need to define the characteristic and assign the values .
This characteristic need to assigned to class.
class need to be assigned to material master
1. T.code : CT04(characteristic) FORD_MODEL, Choose single value & entry required tab & give the input as 01 - fiesta_lxi & 02 - fiesta_vxi.( characteristic values)
2.Tcode: CT04, FORD_BODY( another characteristic)
Choose single value , don't click entry required.
01 - Red( characteristic values)
02- Blue
3. Create class T.code : CL02
fiesta_class
type : 300
4. OBJECT DEPENDENCY:
T.CODE : CT04
FORD_MODEL
CLICK VALUES TAB,
IN FIESTA_LXI CLICK THE 'O' meant for Obj dependency, action & extra.
Edit the dependecy,
010 $Self.ford_body = '01'. & save
Repeat the same for FIEST_VXI & instead of '01' give '02' for blue colour.
, then create a ROH as ford_body. & a KMAT material for the car. .
Then create a Super BOM with usage 3 & give component as ford_body
Then use T.code cu41 (Create config profile)
enter a profile name & class 300 & choose class assignment, choose fiest_class ,
Use T.code cu50 to check the values.
Then create a sale order.

When I try to start a build that's linked to a standard release template (vNext template) I get "No release template matching the current build definition was found to create a release and deployment for." and the build fails.
I am able to successfully start a release from the Release management client so I don't think there is a problem with the release template. If I start a build with agent based template it works fine so I don't think there is any TFS-RM integration issue.
My environment is a 2013 Update 4 (VS, TFS & RM). I even tried to uninstall and re-install all the components still no luck.
I can't find anything useful (or obvious error) in the release management log files & event log (all the RM components log are set to Verbose)
I even tried to trigger a release (vNext) via a REST API suggested in a website but no joy.

Do you mean that you can start this standard release template from your RM Client?
There’s the below error message in your RM Server log, it seems RM Server try to find the Deployment Agent, but standard release needn’t the deployment agent.
ErrorMessage="No communication from the deployer. Possible reasons include: 'Deployer is not installed', 'The service is stopped', 'Deployer is not well configured', 'Deployer is not responsive'"
Additionally, try don’t specific the stage value in your build definition>>Process>> Release Target Stage, then queue build definition again.

Now i Deleted that and Executed RZ70 in R/3.
When I Executed RZ70, I got this Error.

kka.Steps for creating a package in java are as follows:
Choose a base directory for your classes. For example, you might choose c:\java\packages. Type the following command:
set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;c:\java\packages
Create subdirectories for each chapter or section, if you don't already have them.
For each of the classes in the subdirectories, add the following line to the very top of each file:
package directory-name;
where directory-name is the name of the subdirectory the class file is located in.
In other directories you may have class files that need to access one of the classes in another directory (package). To do this, write one of the following at the top of the class that needs the other class:
import subdir.*;
or
import subdir.classname;
Use the class by name in the new class file.
Note that you can create sub-packages by creating subdirectories of the original subdirectories, and inserting package statements at the top of the java files in those directories.

Roles are decided by IT managers. Suppose if Persons who are working in shopfloor or production side
give authorization to Production order create , change and Confirm like that etc
1. In role maintenance (transaction PFCG), choose the Authorizations tab page.
2. To change the authorization data for the transactions assigned to the role, choose Change Authorization Data or Expert Mode for Profile Generation. Otherwise, a dialog box appears in expert mode (see Regenerating an Authorization Profile After Changes).

In my case, I want to pass the portal user id when the user clicks on the Help Link present in the header area.
I am trying to pass it along with the Help Link Url property of a masthead iview but it is not getting passed to the target Url.
I would like to know if it is possible to pass the Portal User Id in this way or not.
Though if we create a appintegrator iview and pass the user id <User.UserID> along with the target Url, it reaches there.

Enter budget journals to maintain an audit trail for your budget balances. You can use budget rules to calculate budget journal amounts automatically.
When you post budget journals, the journal amounts update existing budget balances. You can review and change your budget journals before posting them.
Attention: When you use budget rules in Journal Mode, General Ledger calculates the appropriate debit or credit needed to achieve the balance you enter for the account type.
Prerequisites
1. Define a budget
2.Open one or more years for your budget
3.Define a budget organization
4. Assign the "Entered" budget entry type to the accounts for which you want to enter budget journals
To enter budget journals for a single account:
1. Navigate to the Enter Budget Journals window.
2. Specify the Budget Organization for the account to which you want to budget. If the budget organization is password-protected, you must enter the password before you can enter budget journals.
3. Enter the Budget you want to update. You cannot use a budget that is frozen.
4. Enter the range of Accounting Periods to which you want to budget.
5. Enter the Currency of the budget amounts you are entering. The accounts must be assigned to the budget organization for this currency.
6. Choose Journal Mode from the region poplist to enter budget amounts in a journal format.
You can also use Single Row Mode or Worksheet Mode to enter budget journal amounts. However, you can only generate budget journals from these entry modes when you use the Enter Budget Journals window.
Additional Information: When you use Journal Mode, Balance Type is a display-only field. It displays Budget when you are entering budget journals. In the Enter Journals window, this field displays Actual when you are entering actual journals.
7. Enter or query the Account to which you want to budget. You can also switch to Worksheet Mode to easily query accounts, then return to Journal Mode to enter budget journals.
8. Enter a Debit or Credit amount for each period. Do not enter journal amounts if you want to use budget rules to calculate and distribute budget amounts.
9. Choose Create Journals to create a budget journal batch. If you are using budgetary control, you specify a funds action when you create the batch.
