How to create an event calendar in Muse?

I visited the muse site of the day and took alook at the events page. How was the events list crated, was it a new widget or add-on? Was this created using code, can I do the same on my

You can add events module to muse pages if you are hosting the site on BC , else you can use any third party event scheduler.

    I have a client that wants an events calendar.
    We want to use MUSE to build this calendar and have it updateable by the project manager on the client side.
    I followed some links to a Business Catalyst forum article that talks about this issue. I read it thoroughly, and logged into Business Catalyst as suggested in that post (see link here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5077545#5077545#5077545)
    Once inside of Business Catalyst I got overwhelmed, and generally confused. I don't know which product does what, I don't know what I need and I don't know how any of it works.
    For example, let's hypothetically imagine that I bought the "webMarketing" package at $18.88 USD / month. Will that allow me to place calendar modules onto pages inside of MUSE?
    Ideally any upgrade via business catalyst will allow me to create blogs and calendars. I need to keep costs down and be able to give access to the client's marketing team to manage the calendar once we've finished with it.
    Eventually the client will want to build a community forum - not sure if there is a business catalyst tool that will help us do that, but if so it's something we would like to be made aware of for the future.
    Anyway, again: I am having a hard time figuring out what to do to get event calendar creation via MUSE.

    i am sorry but this is one more question on wiki-group-calendars.
    *In short:*
    I am not able to create a group calendar with the wiki frontend. the calendar that is created with a wiki is owned by the admin of the wiki. So it is always a personal calendar that cannot be shared in iCal.
    LONG:
    I want to create a group calendar that is viewed and edited through iCal.app and the web service. Apple´s "wiki deployment" guide says on page 57:
    +"The web calendar allows you to easily schedule events for yourself or your group. ...+
    +There are *two types of web calendars: personal and group*. You can send and receive event invitations through the personal calendar but not through the group calendar. Also, *while anyone in a group can create or edit events in a group calendar*, you can edit only events in your own personal calendar or event invitations you send to other people.+
    +The web calendar uses iCal Server to store events and invitations. ..."+
    But there is not mentioned how to create a group calendar. The calendar created with the wiki web-frontend belongs to the admin of that particular wiki. This is why the calendar data ist stored in folder named with the UUID of the wiki admin. Also the alias "http://server.fqdn:8008/principals/groups/mygroupname/" which i provided in iCal turns into ..._uids_UUID-of-the-wiki-admin and only the wiki-admin can access this calendar in iCal.app.
    My research on this topic reveals that there were in issue that should be resolved in 10.6.4 (that is running on our Server). So, again, how to create a group calendar?

    You said "you need to go to the wiki page and add the wiki's there...." What is the "wiki page" you mention? Is that some place I go to via the browser or the Server Admin tool?
    I went to http://ical.mysite.com/ical/ and logged in as the Directory Administrator but didn't see anything resembling what you described.

    Hi Puneet,
    Goto transaction SM62 and in there to BckProcEvents tab. There you can create the events.
    You just need to specify the name and Description of an event.

    You should update to Xcode 4.6.3, to begin with. Then Google the latest FB iOS API...details should be provided there on usage.

    just go to swo1-> create zBO -> create zevent.
    Delegate ur standard BO.
    Then go to SWEC.
    write change Doc name ,BO name, Event name there.

    I think you need data year wise .
    Instead of creating a variable for calmonth and using it in the RKF , you can just drag calyear in columns and keep the Volume keyfigure below it . Keep only one keyfigure Volume and do not restrict it with calmonth or any other variable .
    In this case calyear should not be present in rows or free characteristics .
    You would be able to see the data year wise ..
    Try this and check whether it is according to your requirement
    If You need to show the data as Volume (01.2011)  and Volume(01.2010)
    It means you are only showing data for Jan 2011 and Jan 2010 in the report
    In this case you can retrict Volume keyfigure with a variable and create a customer exit variable
    for 0calmonth as an offset of -1 will bring the data of 12.2010 for Previous Volume(01.2010) key figure which is incorrect .
    For your output you can create 2 customer exit variables :
    One will restrict 0calmonth to current year and another to previous year .
    Check whether this works .
    Also , if you want to show current calendar months data , you can either use a mandatory variable on 0calmonth
    and restrict the same in volume keyfigure or there are std customer exit variable provided by SAP to give current cal month .
    You can restrict the char 0calmonth with this std exit variable if you do not want 0calmonth variable to be mandatory.

    This is the second time this month I have been asked to add an Event or an option to subscribe to an event and pay for it using BC. Since there is no build-in module for this and I am not a developer can you explain or direct me to a place where I can find some samples or tutorials how to develop this?
    Basically I need
    1. list of events with a button to book (availability will be good to have).
    2. Register, add credit card details and pay.
    3. Connect to payment gateway and return confirmation/ error.
    4. Client receive a confirmation email with event details.
    5. Client details are stored in the CRM database.

    I know how to use the Event module but I don't see any documentation on how to add payment options to an event (even thought there is a payment option in the module).
    I would like people to register to the event and capture there information for future marketing newsletters. I don't really need/ want the calendar since we will have about one event each month. So basically it will be:
    1. List of events page
    2. Event details and booking/payment form (prefer using JSON).

    You should use a good, fast FireWire 800 drive. make sure it is formatted Mac OS Extended. To set where the event goes, select the drive in the Event Library.

    Thanks for the reply.. we are not using the process chains instead we are using the infopackage groups. I created the event in SM62, But how should i assign this new event to my delta load.
    In full upload infopackage, in selection option i can give the event there in "after event"
    But my doubt is how to assign my event to the delta infopack
