    Hi,
Your question is not clear for me. Since it is a TEM infotype, it could be a PD infotype.
If you wish to create a PD infotype, use transaction PPCI to create the infotype.
But before that you need to create a structure HRInnnn (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.
If you wish to create a PA infotype, use transaction PM01 to create the infotype.
But before that you may be required to create a strcuture PSnnnn  (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.

Another way of creating the infotype with screen shots:

Execute transaction PM01 (If you get a message saying the infotype can not be enhanced,
    try transaction PPCI).
    Step 2

    Step 3
Press the create ‘ALL’ button (left of infotype no.). You will get a dialog box asking to confirm,
    press the create button.
    Step 4
You will now be presented with the standard structure creation screen (SE11) where you need to
enter the fields of the new infotype. I have entered some examples but you can put anything in
    here.
    Step 5
Once you have entered the fields press save and then activate, before pressing the back button.
You will now be presented with the following screen, where you will need to make a new entry
or your created infotype (i.e. 9010).
    Step 6
The next step is to fill in the infotype attributes, these will initially be blank and you will need to
fill them in similar to the following, depending on your requirements. Then press save.
    Step 7
Your infotype is now created and can be accessed and populated in the usual way using
i.e. using transactions such as PA20 and PA30.
    Step 8
If you look at the structure of your new infotype in transaction ‘SE11’ it will look similar to the
    following:

  • How to create an infotype with one of its field length eq 1000.??

    hi ,
i need to create a infotype where one of the field length is 1000 characters how do i achieve this. if i give more than 255 in the PS structure it will not allow. then how do i get a text field of 1000 chars in the screen ( which is an input field)

You can use those function calls even inside a PA Infotype.. they just invoke the text ediotr table control.. I gave you the reference of the PD infotype 1002 just for an idea. I don't think you will able to meet your 1000 char reqt without using the text editor.

  • How to create an infotype for E-Recruitment

Please tell me how to create an ER(E-Recruitment) Infotype. This infotype will be mapped to BSP application.

    hello arvind,
if you really create a new infotype for e-recruiting you use the standard tools like for hr master data / pd infotypes. These tools create screens but they are useless. The reason is that the tools are build for SAP HCM and noone really cares about e-recruiting so there is no option like "it's for e-recruiting do not create screens". If you do not want to have any maintenance issue you can just delete the screens you will never miss them.
If you look for a BSP version of the screen generation I have to tell you that such thing is not existing you will have to build all screens on your own.
Whenever I can I try to use the CI Includes of the E-recruiting Infotypes to store additional data or if you need additional candidate fields which are existing in the business partner (e.g. nationality) but are not maped i widen the bp data mapping.
If all these things are not possible you can add your own infotype which has some pros (e.g. getting the infotype framework for free) and cons (e.g. datatype/length restriction for fields) or you make your own database table where you have all freedom you like. If you need to enlarge the data model for Candidate / Candidacy information and do not plan to run statistics on this data using the Application Wizard Questionaire might be a solution, too.
    Best Rgds.

  • How to Create Customised Infotype

    Dear All,
Please explain the steps to create a Customised Infotype.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Asiya

    Hello
In addition to above message, please note you must ensure if you want Z infotype for Personnel Planning or Personnel Administration?
You use following transactions to create Z Infotypes and their components:
o PPCI (Personnel Planning Infotype Copier) - PD
o PM01 (Personnel Administration Infotype Copier) - PA
In most cases we create "Personnel Administration" infotypes.
If you want steps for PPC1, let me know.

  • Dynamic actions - how to create an infotype with a date - 1 day.

    Hi everyone,
I need a requirement to change an infotype through dynamic action with ENDDA = BEGDA of maintaned infotype(0000) - 1 day.
In other words when a  personel action is performed, another infotype (2001) should appear for change, and in the validity period of this infotype should end with the day before the start of the personel action.
is it possible to achieive this using dynamic actions? how?
    Thanks!
    Stanislaw Adamski

    Hi Adamski,
A dynamic action has the following components.
Infotype Number (INFTY): specifies the infotype for which you want the dynamic action triggered
Subtype (SUBTY): narrows the focus to a specific subtype
Field Name (FIELDN): starts your action when a maintenance function is performed on a particular field
Function (FC): specifies the various maintenance operations to which your dynamic action would respond. They are 02 (change); 04 (create); 06 (create and change); 08 (delete); 10 (change and delete); 12 (create and delete). Dynamic actions are only applicable in maintenance operations, not in display functions.
Sequence Number (NO): refers to a sequential number.
Step (A): specifies a particular type of action. No dynamic action is executed if the function character has a value other than one of the following:
P: Plausibility checks, which allow you to check certain conditions.
I: Calls an infotype for processing
W: Called after the I statement and used to assign values to screen fields while creating or copying another infotype record through the I statement
F: Calls a FORM routine (subroutines in ABAP) during your action. The routine may reside in or out the module pool MPNNNN00.
V: Lets you treat collectively a number of fields for which you want to define a common dynamic action
                  M: Sends SAP Office mail
Variable function part: The variable function part along with the step indicator forms the core part of your action. It specifies the processing details when the dynamic action is triggered. For example:
you have to look for the scenario what you are planning tyo create .
The maintenance of dynamic actions is done via the view V_T588Z, as shown in 1 (IMG menu path Personnel Management>Global Settings in Personnel Management>Basic Settings>Infotypes>Create Dynamic Actions
Here you havev to use conditions INS for the infotype what you want to create..
Please brief the light on the scenario.
    Warm Regards,

  • How to create Infotype in Infoset?

    Hi,
How to create new infotype in already created Infoset and existing infoset is created using logical database?
Please suggest me what can be done.
    Thanks,
    S P Joshi.

    Hi,
When you create an InfoSet, you select a logical database on which the InfoSet is based, and determine which infotypes are included in the InfoSet. They are displayed in the InfoSet as field groups. After you have selected the infotypes, you can determine which fields are included in the field groups for each infotype.

  • Create an infotype for Training and Events

    Hello SAP HCM Community,
Does anyone have a step-by-step procedure on how to create an infotype for Training and Events (specifically for External Persons - H)?
I also need to find out how do I edit an existing Training and Events or PD infotype, i.e. to add fields or remove them?
    Kind regards
    Dorianne

    Hi Dilek,
Firstly before I give you the example please advise if IT1690 is a SAP standard infotype?
    Example:
When creating a Business Event (E) via transaction PSV2, PV10 or PV11 I want certain rules to be in place when the user selects the following:
When selecting an option under 'Location' for example "Internal", the user will then go to "Organizer Data". Under "Organizer Data" there will be a drop down list of A, B or C. For "Internal" Location the user should only pick option B, so if they select any of the other options and attempt to save the transaction will be stopped with an error with a message, i.e. " Incorrect Organiser Data Captured for Internal".
I look forward to your response.
    Kind regards
    Dorianne

  • Creating customised infotype

    Hi Experts,
Kindly guide me how to create customised infotype. An example of customised infotype will be appreciable.
pls tell me the steps of creating customised infotype.
    Thanks in advance,
    Riya

    Hi,
PM01 is the transaction code for the creation of a Custom Infotype for the PA module in HR.
Go to Transaction PM01. Create Infotype.
Enter the custom Infotype number to be created. The number should be between the customer name space 9001 - 9999. This is the no. range interval to be used for the Custom Infotypes.
See to it that the u2018Employee Infotypeu2019 and the u2018PS Structureu2019 radio buttons are selected on the screen.
Click on u2018Allu2019 push button on the screen. A separate Dictionary window appears on the screen.
Maintain the structure (Provide fields) which will be included in the current custom Infotype. Include all the fields that are needed in the Infotype.
The PAKEY/PBKEY and PSHD1 structures are not required to be provided while creating the custom Infotype. They are created by the SAP system automatically.
Save and Activate the PS structure and go back to the initial screen of PM01.
Now, click on u2018Technical Characteristicsu2019. Infotype list screen appears.
Click on u2018Changeu2019 (pencil) button and select your Infotype and click on u2018Detailu2019 (magnifying glass) button.
    Give u2018T591Au2019 as subtype table.
Give u2018T591Su2019 as subtype text tab.
Give the subtype field as the field that we need to maintain using the V_T591A view.
Save and come back to the PM01 initial screen.
Click on u2018Infotype Characteristicsu2019. Infotype list screen appears.
Click on u2018Changeu2019 (pencil) button and click on u2018New Entriesu2019 button.
Enter your Infotype number and the short text for the Infotype.
Depending on the requirement, we will have to set the Infotype Characteristics. The best option would be to use the entries of a standard Infotype like 0000 (Actions) or 0001 (Org. Assignment) as a reference. Other way is to click on the F4 button for each parameter on the screen to understand its significance.
Save the entries. Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.
The layout of the Infotype can be changed as the way we want.
In the PM01 initial screen, select u2018Screenu2019 radio button and give 2000 as the screen name and click on Edit.
In the next screen, select u2018Layout Editoru2019 and click u2018Changeu2019.
Screen default layout appears. Here we can design/modify the screen, change the attributes of the fields, etc.,
Save and activate. (Donu2019t forget to u2018Activate at every level)
The custom Infotype is ready to use.
