How to create an online fillable form for mobile devices, tablets and smartphones.

How can I create "online fillable forms" for Mobile devices, tablets and smarphones?
I already created an "online fillable form" with Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for PCs and MACs but this form can not be filled using mobile devices, it can only be downloaded.
Thanks.

Hi George,
I gather from your reply that I won't be able to create "online fillable forms" for Mobile devices with Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. Correct?
If Adobe does not have another software similar to Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, would you please suggest me any other means of creating "online fillable forms" for Mobile devices?
Would you think that an HTML developed form would be a fair substitute for the PDF fillable forms that I use for PCs and MACs?
Thanks,
Alvaro

    Hi,
    For SAP interactive forms, just fill the variable FILLABLE as 'X' for interface import parameter /1BCDWB/DOCPARAMS.
    Check the following link for further details.

  • How do you save a PDF fillable form with a Samsung Tablet and still continue to have access to the original document?

    We are using the Samsung Note and have uploaded a PDF form for fieldwork crews to enter vegetation data. When we have filled in the form there is no option to save the form under a different name but rather the form simply saves itself with the most recent information placed in it. We understand that you can send it through Acrobat.com to your account but the tablet will not access this site while in the PDF app. Does anyone know of an app or a way that we can create individually saved files and still have access to the original on the tablet?

    It can also work if you certify the document and each user chooses to trust it to execute privileged JavaScript, which may be feasible in this setting. The method you'd use is doc.saveAs: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.524.html
    Also, read the following tutorial: http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-save-pdf-acrobat-javascript

    Hello,
    The new update of Muse allows you to use the Webforms widget with a non Business Catalyst host as well.
    However, Captcha is something which currently cannot be used via Muse without using Business Catalyst as host.

  • Creating separate online shop layouts for mobile

    Is there any way to create separate shop layouts (catalogue.html, small_product.html, large_product.html, etc) for use on a mobile site. I want to limit some of the information posted to the mobile site--e.g., eliminate custom tags used in large product page-- in addition to having the ability to specify different catalogs per row, for example, on the desktop version, I have my catalogs listed 3 across--on the mobile site, I want them listed 2 across. How do I go about specifying these differences in layouts, desktop versus mobile. What is the protocol for something like this?

    Hi Anne,
    You should be able to o this with custom templates and the {system_visitorDeviceClass} tag. If you want no coding at all, you should be able to do the following: Create templates for mobile in the same folder as the standard ones (root > Layouts > OnlineShop. Rename all of them to something like mobile_small_product / desktop_small_product
    Then you can just use any module by referencing the custom template as {module_product,63882,5450055,_top template="/Layouts/OnlineShop/{system_visitorDeviceClass}_small_product.tpl"
    Kind Regards,

  • How to create custom Item Renderers List for mobile?

    Hi,
       I have seen many samples using List with Item Renderers (image, label, message below the label and decorator) for mobile apps.

    Item 1. Image
    Item 2. a small icon
    Item 3. Label with 1 or 2 lines
    Item 4.  a Favourite button (like Favourites + or - button). If I like this item, I add it into my favourites list
    Item 5. decorator arrow > to go the Detail view.
    I am new to Adobe Flash Builder and Flex development. Can anyone show me some samples on how to do this?

    Method One:
    I have created simple application page and i used powershell command(Set-SPCustomLayoutsPage -Identity "AccessDenied" -RelativePath "/_layouts/ExampleAccessDenied.aspx" -WebApplication "http://DEVWEBAPPLICATION")

    script type="text/javascript">
      _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("redirectToCustomAccDenPage");
      function redirectToCustomAccDenPage()

       var url = 'https://' + window.location.host + '/mysite/customPages/customAccessDenied.aspx';
       window.location.replace(url);
       else
       alert(location.href);
     </script>
    Method 3:
    I have Created custom HTTP module and implemented and it is working fine. But  the problem is it will be called for the all the requests in the web applicaton.
    COuld you let me know alternate apporach.

  • How to create a binding through code for both a table and a query component

    Hi,
    I have a unique use case where I need to dynamically assign the dataBindings to a query Component and its resultant table component in a page. What I mean is,
    1. I have a jsff page with a query and table (no bindings associated)
    2. I know the name of the AM and the VO
    3. I need to through java code create a DataCntrol bindin for
    a. <searchRegion/> for query component
    b. <iterator ... /> and <bindings... /> for the table
    4. The VO and AM is dynamic and not known at design time.
    Is there anyway to achieve this? Please let me know if you need further classification on my question.
    Appreciate your input!

  • How to create scroller with paging concept for mobile apps?

    Hi,
    I need a scroller control with Paging concept. When the user is in Landscape view, I want to load set of images as a Photo gallary.
    Each time the user swipes, he can go to the next image or the previous image.
    Each image is fully fit in the whole page. Means the user can see only 1 image at a time. He needs to swipe left or right to see the previous or next image.
    When he double clicks the image, he will be taken to another page.
    Can you give your ideas of how to implement this feature?
    FYI: I have seen samples of List with Horizontal layout. But it does not suit with my requirement.

    did you even find a solution.. ?

  • How to create online fillable form using acobrat 7.0 ?

    I want to create an online fillable form but seems like a fill able PDF form is good to enter the information when end user wants to print the document with the filled information. They won't be able to save the filled information unless they have adobe acrobat and every user don't have acrobat. Majority of users will have adobe reader only which does not have the feature of saving the document with the filled information.
    How can I receive the information from this fill able PDF form ?
    I have seen on many website that, they people can fill out the form online and submit the information.
    I know a way too add submit button using acrobat 7 designer but that is very complicated because the user will have to send xml data and i will have to import the xml data into the original pdf form which is very time consuming and not a good idea when i have to deal will 1000 forms every week.
    when a personal is filling a fillable form (which i will upload on my website), that pdf form can't be send directly to me with data in it ?
    this seems to be very complicated.

    For AA7, you can set the file to submit the data, not the entire form. You would have the FDF data file submitted to you. The e-mail feature is not very reliable, but that was not your question. When you receive the FDF file, you may be able to click it and have it open in the form (if you did not move the form and such -- it has some folder information in the FDF). Otherwise, you can open the form and use the form tools to import the data -- forgot where it is in AA7. The end result of the import will be the same display as the submitter had in the form. You can then save the form to a different name. There may be some data handling within Acrobat 7, I don't remember. If not, you might want to get the FDF Toolkit from Adobe and set up some data manipulation with the toolkit to put data in a database or such.

  • Need to create a online pdf form filler

    hi, not quite sure how to achieve this or which product to use.
    im trying to create an online web form for users to fill out and print (but to prohibit them from saving to their pc).
    i need to embed it somehow on a webpage and not as a link, something similar to this service:
    https://www.pdffiller.com/edit.php?id=475533
    thanks

    Hi Bill, thanks for your reply,
    actually the site uses flash to present the form for filling. i tried building such a form using flash but its too complicated, im sure there is a much easier way.
    say i create a editable form using Acrobat Pro, how would i go about embedding it into the webpage ? and allowing for it to be printed but not saved (the flash solution wrapps the form in a flash file therefor not allowing for a user to save it as a PDF file.
    is there a way to do this ?
    (im not quite sure why the link i sent is password protected, can't you  access it ?  http://www.pdffiller.com/index.php - take alook at their service)
    here is another example of how i would like it to look

  • How to create fillable forms for users of reader IX or X in acrobat pro XI?

    I created fillable forms in Acrobat Pro XI. How can i make them fillable also for users with Reader IX or X? As Adobe Reader für Vista or Linux is only available in version IX or X, it is not possible for these users to fill in the forms?

    Open PDF Form in Acrobat XI then choose File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (inclues form fill-in & save)...
    Then, save the form with new name and it's gonna work.

    We want to create an online contract form with different options which will determine different prices as they make their choices. We will also require a legally binding e-signature. Is Acrobat the best product or even an option for this?

    You need to use form fields. See the Acrobat help section and this site: https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/
    However, that last part (receiving an automatic response when a form is submitted) has nothing to do with Acrobat, or even with the PDF file. This is something you'll need to set up on your web (or email) server.
