How to create barcode in Smart Forms with MS Word as Editor?

Hi,
I created a character format for a barcode in a smart style.
The problem is that I do not know how to assign it to the text in Smart Form because the Editor is MS Word and not the normal Editor.
Any suggestion or idea.

Hi and thanks for the fast reply,
I have created a smartstyle and also a characterformat for the barcode. This is not the problem.
I call the layout via HRFORMS. The Form Builder for Smart Forms is called and the Editor for the text nodes is preset and is the MS Word editor. This cannot be changed. I tried different things also in the settings. The normal text editor cannot be called.
I choose and enter the field that I want to convert into the barcode &wa_barcode&. I do not work with standard texts (SO10). The text field is a normal text node in Smart Forms. The character format that applies converts the number in the variable field into the barcode.
In the MS word editor I have only formats that are in the office environment (arial, ...) I do not see the formats that I created in smartstyle also when I assign it in the output options of the text node.
So maybe I have to work like this for now. Swich between HRFORMS and SMARTFORMS when working with barcodes. In the Smart Forms transaction it is the normal editor where I can see the paragraph/ character formats from smartstyle.

One problem working with most e-mail list providers is that the response, when someone subscribe to a list, is anew html page that replaces the one you have. In most cases that is not an issue, but if you want to keep the flow in your page it is.
The typical way to solve the problem is by not using the default forms, but by creating one that works through a PHP or other server side script that can receive a response that can handle anyway you want on the fron end.
Since I am trying to see what can I do without depending in particular sewrver side code, that was not an option for me.
The way I solved was dynamically creating an iframe inside EA so the response html page will be restricted to that area, which I can manipualte from EA.

How to create a manual tabular form with DELETE capability

Since the wizard tabular form does not allow the use of checkboxes, I am building my tabular form manually following the HOW-TO document. I will need to be able to delete rows in the form in addition to inserting and updating. Is there a document somewhere that describes how to do this? The how-to doesn't cover it and I have searched the forums to no avail.

To create dynamic checkbox you can do the following:
SELECT HTMLDB_ITEM.CHECKBOX(1,"your database field name", 'unchecked or checked') " "
FROM YOUR_TABLE_NAME OR DUAL;
...then...
In order to extrapolate the checkbox value you use following array:
htmldb_application.g_f01("subscript value)"
This array will contain value of checkbox. At this point you can do this:
if htmldb_application.g_f01("subscript value)" = 'Y'
THEN
INSERT DATA...
DELETE DATA...
END IF;

NOTE: I have entered a lot of pseudo values/code but I believe you can fill in the blanks for what you need.

        i hv to create lines in smartform.

by using above statement i can create line in SAPSCRIPT.

create window and provide these parameters in the output options to get the line. and in line select check box line with
Left margin          0.00      CH    Width           80.00       CH
Upper margin     12.50      LN    Height             0.05       LN
line
   check the box line with
Gray value       0   %
   Width                     1.00       TW                       (0% = not filled)
   vertical spacing       0.00       CM
   horizontal spacing   0.00       CM

if u mean my creating barcode format ..then in smartforms...create a character format.......in that there is a radio button ...barcode select that and select a particular barcode format.
save and activate this character format.

How to save a completed form that was created as a dynamic form, with expandable files?

I have created a dynamic PDF form with expandable fields etc. As this is to be accessible for customers to completed, how can they save a completed copy on their own PC?
I tried it myself and I receive an error msg stating that I can only save a Blank Copy of this Form: Data typed into this form will not be saved. Adobe Reader can only save a blank copy of this form.
How can I create a dynamic form (with expandable fields/flowable layout etc) that allows the applicant to not only complete the form but also, to save a completed copy?

Thanks! That worked , however I now have an additional issue.
While the form works in Internet Explorer (I'm using IE11), in that it's viewable, it opens and allows me to save etc) it doesn't work in Google Chrome and I'm getting the below error message:
Any ideas on why it doesn't display in Chrome and does in IE (I'm using the same PC and I'm using Adobe Reader XI)!
there are other PDF forms on site that are not dynamic but are fillable, and these are opening!

How to create a report in Form line Style and can display Image field?

Hi,
In Report builder 10g, I would like to create a Report with Form Line Style and this report included a Image field.
I can choose this Style only when Select Report type is Paper Layout. Because, If I choose Create both Web & Paper Layout or Create Web Layout only then in the next Style tab 03 option Form, Form letter and Mailing Label be Disabled.
But in Paper Layout, my report can not display Image field.
I tried with Web layout and all the other Styles (Except 03 mentioned be Disabled) then all Styles are displayed Imager field OK.
How to create a report in Form line Style and can display Image field?
I was change File Format property of my Image field from text to Image already in Property Inspector. But report only showed MM for my Image field.

Here you go..Just follow these steps blindly and you are done.
1) Create a year prompt with presentation variable as pv_year
2) Create a report say Mid report with year column selected 3 times
- Put a filter of pv_year presentation variable on first year column with a default value say @{pv_year}{2008}
- Rename the second time column say YEAR+1 and change the fx to CAST(TIME_DIM."YEAR" AS INT)+1
- Rename the second time column say YEAR-1 and change the fx to CAST(TIME_DIM."YEAR" AS INT)-1
Now when you will run Mid Report, this will give you a records with value as 2008 2009 2007
3) Create your main report with criteria as Year and Measure col
- Change the fx for year column as CAST(TIME_DIM."YEAR" AS INT)
- Now put a filter on year column with Filter based on results of another request and select these:
Relationship = greater than or equal to any
Saved Request = Browse Mid Report
Use values in Column = YEAR-1
- Again,put a filter on year column with Filter based on results of another request and select these:
Relationship = less than or equal to any
Saved Request = Browse Mid Report (incase it doesn't allow you to select then select any other request first and then select Mid Report)
Use values in Column = YEAR+1
This will select Year > = 2007 AND Year < = 2009. Hence the results will be for year 2007,2008,2009
This will 100% work...

Smart form with 2 different pages

Hi Experts
I have a requirement, I need to develop a smart form with 2 different pages, and each page has different data and presentation of the data also is different.
In the first page I need to display the contract data with the line items and amounts and in the second page I need to display the partner details with their contact details. From second page onwards it may go further based on the partners exists for that contract.
Plesae advice me best possible way to achive this.

Create two Pages:
First Page:
In general Attributes section- Keep page2 as next page
Create Main window and under that
Keep the text elements for contract data of line item and amounts as required
Second Page:
In general Attributes section- Keep page2 as next page
create main window and under that
get all the partner details of line item into an internal table(using program lines node).
Now use 'Tables' node which behaves as loop for this internal table (so that it continues further if it contains date more than 1 page)
And display the values in smartform using Text node

We can create bullets in smartforms.
For this change the editor to text editor and then
goto insert->characters->SAP Symbols and select the
symbol you want.
This may help your requirement.
You cannot see the bullets in print preview, it'll
appear only on a hard copy.

How to Mask URL in Smart forms

Hi,
i wanted to mask the URL in my smartform so that it is concise and readable, like suppose url is like this http://www.myurl.com/pages/abcd&attr=19093 i wanted to create text which is something like click here on clicking click here it should take me to the desired page which the above mentioned URL ( http://www.myurl.com/pages/abcd&attr=19093 ) actually navigates.
How can i achieve this Smart forms??

Thanks for your answer, Just got an alternative solution, when i got XSF output from smartform function Module, the same XSF output (me->sf_job_output-xmloutput-trfresult-content) i used in below method to convert to string.
CALL METHOD cl_hrrcf_cs_sf=>convert_xsf_html_to_txtstring
        EXPORTING
          content     = me->sf_job_output-xmloutput-trfresult-content
        IMPORTING
          html_string = me->doc_properties-output_c
          html_tab    = me->doc_properties-output_c_tab.
later i realised that URLs in the smartform has got corresponding HTML code as below in the (me->doc_properties-output_c_tab).

when i changed the link in the debugger https://www.google.com which was inside
<span> </span>
to "Click Me", the output was as i expected in the E-Mail which showed me Click Me and when i click that it took me to google web site.
so i decided that i would change this table(me->doc_properties-output_c_tab.) for every URL in code, though it did not seem like right solution, as suggested in this forum there is no straight solution for this, i have no other option.

Smart Forms with editable fields and signature field provided by Webdynpro ABAP

i've created an interactive smart form.. Everything fine. The preview of the adobe livecycle designer looks excellent, every field is editable, the signaturefield is signable...
But when i try to test my form using transaction SE80 i'll get a pdf without any signable field, without any editable textfield and so on
I've used the standard printer ZPDF1 for that purpose. (PDF1)
Every value provided by the interface is displayed correctly in the pdf , but no field offers the possibility to change values anymore the pdf looks like a real printed document.
I want to build a webdynpro application where the user gets a pdf in the last step, where he or she is able to edit single values in the prefilled PDF and afterwards to sign this document with his/her digital certificate...
