How to create Debit Memo in SAP.

Hi Experts !
We wanted to create a debit memo even after closing a purchase order i.e. payment is made to vendor.These debit memos are mainly related with pricing differences and overshooted logistics cost. We can make use of Subsequent cr/dr function, but it requires an invoice/credit memo from vendor and we can enter this as subsequent credit/debit. But in our case we need to send a debit note to the vendor. Remember it has to affect A/P and Cost accounts in this transaction. I request you to kindly help me in this regard.

hai chalam,
you can create a debit memo to the vendor after closing the po also.
Under Financial Management --> you will find create credit memo in that you will find document type for debit memo, enter document type, like that u can create debit memo
if vendor is one time vendor he will returns the amount as per debit memo, or if he is a regular vendor it will be converted as down payments or amount will be reduced in the next invoice.

I am trying to understand your requirement; You want to pay the vendor after the PO is closed(Del Comp;Inv recieved & Payment done). The payment has to be done because of Pricing diff/overshooted logistics.Did you receive a revised invoice for this? How this is reflected in the system?

I need to create debit memo using ORDERS05 & INPUT_IDOC_ORDERS. I was able to post a debit memo but was not able to send all the needed data through ORDERS05. Is there another basic type/function module that anyone knows through which debit memos gets created?

I am having the exact same problem. I have to populate vbkd-sdabw ( special processing indicators )in the sales order via orders05 Idoc. And I have checked all the Idoc segments. None of the segments are working to hold the value for this particular field. Please let me know if this should be a user exit. But this seems pretty standard and I think all the companies use this field. I was wondering why sap will not have a segment for that in the Idoc.

How to process Debit Memos for returns when Pay on Receipt is enabled

Hi
I have one supplier who is configured for AutoInvoice process with Pay On Receipt
There is excess qty received from the supplier and needs to be returned. System did generate invoice for Qty received and put the invoice on excess Qty hold
I have also checked the Create Debit Memo check box in Pay On Receipt region of supplier site and have processed the return of excess qty in Return window
Now how to proceed to create the Debit Memo for the supplier?

I did run the P O receipt Autoinvoice process again, but system created batches with receipt names but without any invoice there in (debit or credit memo) automatically created for accounting of return to suppliers.
Can someone please help?

Hi ,
To create OM infotype:
1. Go to SE11 and create a structure HRI9XXX (9XXX --> name of the infotype). Add the required fields to this structure and save and activate. then come out of it.
2. Go to PPCI and enter Infotype number (9XXX) and description.
3. Click create.
4. In the infotype category select details for the infotype.
5. Click create button. It should create the infotype.
6. Click on Check. A window with menu will open.
7. In that window navigate to Table Entries.
8. Under table Entries, select T777I and click on change.
9. It opens SM30. Click on Maintain.
10. Select the infotype and add information for "Time Constraint" and "Infotype Per Object Type".
11. Save.
12. Go back to check menu, see if all entries exist. Do not worry last 5 table entries. And you are done

Please follow below steps
(1)Create a class name
SBDSV1 (TRANSACTION) --> New Entries --> Class name (SOME NAME) --> Class type (OT).
2)After entering the above details and saving, the fields Class object name fields   will be blank, make entries as shown below .
1)     Class : BDS_LOC1
2)     Class : BDS_POC1
3)     Class : BDS_REC1
4)     Object name : BDS_CONN00
3)- Now next time logging in to OAOR you can directly refer to this Class name.
4)1)     Go to transaction OAOR, give the class name created.
   2)     Give class type as OT
   3)     Give some name in object key its like sub folder
5) a) Click on create drag down standard doc types will get no. of option chose one
    b) double click on the class name in this new screen.
    c)in the below screen are, you have tabs for details,documentinfo,keywords,create, click on create TAB,
   d)By double clicking on screen you can browse the folder where image is located and select it
   e)Once the image is selected it will be stored in the folder that is created with object key
6) now double click on the image you uploaded & in below screen area select the Details tab, you will get object id,use this object id & code as below

Syntax
/: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
Effect: draws a box of the specified size at the specified position.
Parameters: For each of XPOS, YPOS, WIDTH, HEIGHT and FRAME both a measurement and a unit of measurement must be specified. The INTENSITY parameter should be specified as a percentage between 0 and 100.
1. XPOS, YPOS: Upper left corner of the box, relative to the values of the POSITION command.
Default: Values specified in the POSITION command.
The following calculation is performed internally to determine the absolute output position of a box on the page:
X(abs) = XORIGIN + XPOS
Y(abs) = YORIGIN + YPOS
2. WIDTH: Width of the box. Default: WIDTH value of the SIZE command.
3. HEIGHT: Height of the box. Default: HEIGHT value of the SIZE command.

Hi folks, one question:
We have our development close moved and now it is earlier than originally planned.
That means that we maybe can't finish our convenient API and you have to wait till we will release it - early 2015 is planned.
But there is another option:
Currently we have a API based on json. The developer has to create json and to transfer it to the Visual Business control.
This interface is more used as a low level API and we are developing on top the more convenient one. So all the features are the same.
It will stay stable & compatible in the future and you can build on it.
Do you want to use this interface?
Then I will publish the documentation.

1. In OVAZ assign Sale Order type DR to your sales area
2. In OVKK Check if the Pricing Procedure determination is available with Document pricng procedure "A"
3. In VA01 Select the document type DR and maintain other details and save.
4. In VA02 remove Billing Block
5. In VF01 enter the DMR number and process. Save.
